Great service came as a walk in but because of covid he only takes appointments. He squeezed me in I assume during his own lunch time. Super nice and listened to what I wanted. Going again I think I found a new barber.

Good i love my haircut

I’ve been getting haircuts at Milton’s since I was a toddler, i highly recommend to come to this place because while you wait, you can talk or watch the tv on the stand. The haircut chairs are super comfortable and when you itch or something he will stop and wait. Go to this fantastic mans barbershop as he can do incredible hair cuts!

My husband, my 2 sons, my 4 grandsons all go to Miltons and have for years. This is a great place. He is the best in the Bay Area! Great family atmosphere, he truly has become family to us. Anyone who has had any experience that is different than amazing, well it must have been an off day because we have been coming here for years and have never had a negative experience. He is a great guy, great barber and just a great place. Any negativity is just that, your opinion, not the norm or the standard. I have been getting my hair cut at Miltons Barber Shop for as long as he has been in business and let me tell you there is a reason for that. Milton is a kind and funny dude with GREAT customer services and a product that is unmatched. If you have kids and need someone to take that extra step to ensure they are enjoying the barber shop experience then Milton is your man. If you need a barber who is in touch with the latest trends and know whats up then Milton is your man. Also ask him about fitness, he is in top shape and can provide you some tips. Ive been taking my son to Milton since he first opened his shop and wont go anywhere else. He has AMAZING barber skills. I love the atmosphere of the shop. Milton will always have you laughing and is great with kids. I never have to make my son(9) get a haircut. He looks forward to his trip to the barber shop every time and always come out looking like a million bucks.

I called and asked about setting an appointment and he told me to just come on in on a walk-in. I showed up on my lunch hour with limited time and was worried that there would be a line but was relieved when I saw that he and the other barber were just finishing up who they were working on and that I was next in line.After 30 minutes of having me wait as they leisurely chit chat with a friend, I end up having to leave to make it back to work in time without as much as an explanation of why it was taking so long or acknowledgment that Im waiting. Terrible service.If youre looking to get a haircut, DONT come here. If youre looking to just hang out and talk, I guess this is the place for you.

Outstanding first experience with an actual barber rather than supercuts or others. I didnt expect him to bust out a strait razer, but he handled it with proficiency. Bit of a wait, but its just him running his own shop so its to be expected. Ill be coming back for sure

Was excited to get my haircut by Juanita as I had heard such good things about her. Had already waited over an hour...then a homophobic joke between the other barber and a teenage boy. I was shocked! I had no choice but to walk out. They wont be getting my business. Our youth need understanding and open-minded adults! I hope they wont get your business either.UPDATE: Later the same day, Milton posted to my facebook review (which consisted of the exact same text above). Here is his response: Milton Costa - Did I say a homophobic joke? Or did I ask what Movie he would like to see and dont say Brokeback Mountain. I NEVER said anything Homophobic... I got 1 employee & she is Gay!! Personally, I think you are being unfair about this... I no longer need to explain myself...My response to Milton: Milton - that is the definition of homophobic - you know as well as I do that you said that to be funny because Brokeback Mountain is about two gay men....you didnt say and dont say some sappy love story...you explicitly named a gay movie. I categorized it as a joke because you said with the intention of being funny. Furthermore, the mere fact that you dismiss my feelings and perceptions and make no room for the possibility that the comments could be out of line confirms that you operate under heterosexual privilege.
