James is absolutely the best and easiest tuner I’ve ever worked with. He’s tuned 4 of my cars over the last 6 yrs. He’s got a wealth of knowledge on setup and he keeps your budget in mind. He’s very responsive and professional. I wish he would do more platforms so I’d never have to deal with another “diva” tuner... if they were all professionals like James life in the tuning world would be a whole lot easier.

This review is long overdue. I have a 2015 BRZ and decided to go Forced Induction about 4 years ago. Ive been on his tunes ever since, havent had a single issue. The one bad review I see may be a result of desperation, but understand that hes still a human and is also a reputable tuner. Hes gotten back to me every single time that I needed him to, and thats over the course 4 years. The man is filled with knowledge and it shows.

Takes forever to get back to you, maybe hes that popular, at that time he did not charge for additional revisions. I had my built motor tuned here remotely, for some reason his ROM does not allow me to log from ignition to actually start. also, never fixed the tip in throttle of my car. If you have a built motor, definitely get a better tuner.

James is really helpful, patient and fast in making my tune. Quick response to all the questions I asked cause I am kinda new to tuning.

I drove over 3 hours to have James Martin with HRI Tuning tune my car for Turbo Flex Fuel setup. I really dont have any words to express how happy I am. The turbo spools faster, smoother and coming out of a stop the car no longer lunges. Worth every penny and time spent driving.

James is the G.O.A.T!! He knows what he is stalking about and he definitively explains to you whats going on as he tunes your car. I got my car tuned by him in only an hour because I was able to set an appointment and go see him in person, he checked everything and made sure everything was dialed in correctly with several maps working right. You know how when you see someone work, you can tell how long theyve been doing it for? James is the kind of guy that when you see him work you can definitely tell he is experienced and has been through the process time and time again. That is SUPER reassuring to me. The trip was worth is and now Im running 10 PSI on a JDL 2860RS Kit with a perfect tune from James that I can beat on just like a stock tune, I love taking my car to the redline!After my tune, it felt like james had made my car into a ferrariJames is #1 hands down for the BRZ/FRS platform, I will trust him every time I need my car tuned.
