Hector and his team did an amazing job with removing old glued down hardwood, removing carpet, and then installing new engineered bamboo floors. I’m so happy with the result and he took extra care to find the right stain to match the quarter round to my kitchen cabinets. The extra details are what make the whole thing really beautiful. We had an extremely small job. We had our pantry enlarged which left us with about 2 square feet of space that required new oak flooring to match the existing 24 year old flooring. Hector accommodated our request and did an amazing job matching, sanding and staining the flooring. We are very pleased with his work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. These guys did an AMAZING JOB! We asked them to install laminate flooring since we we’re unable to...trust me we tried. They showed exactly at 8 and got right to work. We had already taken up the carpet, they did EVERYTHING ELSE and did it well. They even made a custom nose on the spot and it looks great. The cost wasn’t half bad and they are willing to work with you. They made sure to talk to us about anything that wasn’t initially discussed and provided options on how to approach it. From beginning to end Hector responded quickly and kept me informed. When the floors were installed they covered shelves and items on the wall before starting. After buying our home in NC, we knew we needed new floors all downstairs - 5 big rooms. The workmanship that this company did for us was AMAZING!! The workers took their time and they were meticulous with everything, including edges, cutouts, color (matched what we requested perfectly!), sanding properly (VERY important), and even extra coats of protection, to be sure it will not fade or scuff up, in the next 25 years!! We had existing Dundee Select red oak hardwood flooring (in Gunstock stain color with Semi-gloss Duraseal Polyurethane) in our Foyer, Butlers Pantry & Dining rooms (about 491 sqf.) and carpet with padding in our Office and Living rooms (about 540 sqf.). We decided to sand, stain and refinish the existing hardwood and purchase unfinished Select red oak hardwood and have it treated in the same fashion. This was extremely painstaking and tedious work and was performed flawlessly by Hector Solis with Quality Hardwood Flooring. He did it alone, he stayed on schedule, was very trustworthy, industrious, clean, and a pleasant and knowledgeable individual. He truly has an eye for detail and is extremely accurate and thorough. After watching him work for just two days, my daughter and I decided to also ask him to remove all of the carpet from the stairs, remove the ballasters/hand railing and sand, stain and refinish them to match the floors. What a fantastic decision that was...our house has been transformed and we are so pleased and satisfied with the end results!
