Real hygienists (not dental assistants) gave both of my kids excellent cleaning. They, and the dentist, were thorough, respectful and communicative. Receptionists too—they were up front with costs and easily linked into our insurance plan details, and it was quick to get in for an appointment as well. The office is gorgeous and clean, but small and simple. It is a pleasure dealing with them and I am switching the whole family over from one of the local fancy “dental factories.” Looking forward to having a thorough, personalized dental staff I can trust to work with!

I had to have an implant placed for tooth #29. Dr. Davis was very thorough informing me the details of the procedure, and what to expect. I was very nervous having to have the procedure done, but Dr. Davis, Miss Theo, and her cohort Miss Randy, all gave real-life accounts about dental implant surgery, and the implant itself. Dr. Davis was very intentional about comfort, and it was apparent he was completely in his element, during the procedure. Dr. Davis explained step-by-step what was being done, and why. Dr. Davis and Miss T worked very well together, which made me feel more at ease! I feel extremely fortunate to have such a caring, kind, PROFESSIONAL, and knowledgeable team I can absolutely count on! I dont have children, but if I did, they would be treated by Cary Family Dental-Dr. Acton Allen, DDS!❤

Over the course of a few years, my teeth had major wear caused by bruxism and other factors. My teeth were slowly tearing each other apart, and I needed to repair the damage and get my bite back in place. After consulting with Dr. Acton, he came up with conservative solution to fix everything, and he took extra time to answer all of my questions to make sure I had a good understanding on how this would solve the issue. In the end, I am extremely happy with the result. I now have my bite and teeth back, and they look fantastic. Teeth restoration is a blend of art/aesthetic with science/function and Dr. Acton is a master at both. His practice and staff at Cary Family Dental are top tier. This was my first visit to Cary Family Dental. I was immediately impressed with the size of the practice and how efficiently it operates. This in terms of making appointments, follow up to confirm appointments and communications for new patients. The hygienists and doctors are all extremely knowledgeable and professional. Karen has been my hygienist for over 3 years now and she is absolutely wonderful! Shes extremely thorough with her work and a joy to be around. Ive been coming to this practice for a little over a year now, and their new space is expansive and clean. All the staff, from receptionists to hygienists and techs and dentists, are really lovely, and Ive never felt brushed off or not listened to. Im especially grateful to the care and attention I received this morning when I complained of some sensitivity on one side and needed a night guard adjusted. Everyone listened to what I said, had an immediate action plan in place, and explained what to do next.Bonus: Theyre being great about COVID protocols. Patients call to check in from their cars, get a temp check at the door, and only remove masks in the exam rooms, where staff are already double-masked and face-shielded.

When I first started seeing Cary Family Dental 5 years ago, they were excellent. Over the years, I suppose as they have grown, their customer service has severely declined. The hygienists and dentists are still very nice and professional, but the general communication is extremely poor and Ive had several extremely negative interactions with the front desk staff and even the clinic management. Just not worth the frustration and poor attitudes from staff anymore.

I have been going to Cary Family Dental for 10 years after moving to North Carolina. They are sensitive for my husbands gag reflex and fear of the dentist; compassionate for my kids and have always been fair and trustworthy. I have moved around Wake County but will never change my dentist.

Really happy at this dentist. The staff is friendly, billing is accurate, I don’t wait long and the building is very nice.My only negative is that they use thick plastic zipper bags for the toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. This is very wasteful and the bags really can’t even be re-used as the zipper breaks off. I’ve provided this feedback in the past and they haven’t changed so I’m removing a star from the review for this.

BE AWARE THIS IS OUT OF NETWORK FOR STATE EMPLOYEES (MetLife) I was wrongfully told by reception that MetLife was in network here and I didn’t realize it was out of network until I looked at the EOB for my husbands fillings which were $$$Very modern atmosphere. There are TVs on the roof! Never experienced that before. My dental hygienist Karen was gentle and thorough. Great customer service I was running late for my appointment and all flustered but they were able to fit me in to establish care. Also they were able to fit my husband and I in on the same day and quickly after my initial inquiry. Highly recommend if in network but expect to pay $$$ if out of network.
