I could not be happier with my experience at ShoeHQ. My feet have a bad pronation problem, so its important that I wear the right kind of shoe. Greg took great care of me. He took the time to understand my situation. I was very impressed with his knowledge. He presented me with several options, so that I was able to make an informed decision. I didnt think of Greg as a salesman, as he didnt try to sell or pressure me to buy something. I saw him as a foot consultant, providing me with all the information I needed to make a decision that was best for me. I am now a customer for life at ShoeHQ.

Ive bought several pairs of shoes here. The only thing is they seem to not carry or sell out of my size a lot so I usually have to special order my shoes rather than walk out with a pair that day. However, they have a good selection and I have always been given excellent customer service.

I had a wonderful experience with ShoeHQ. The sales associate was knowledgeable and very patient as I tried goodness knows how many styles. I ended up purchasing a pair based on the associates recommendation and I love them. Theyre so comfortable and supportive even after a 12 hour shift. Ill be back!

I traveled 70 miles for a referral to a podiatrist only to be seen for three minutes and told that I need to spend $460 per foot to have arches made due to my insurance would not cover the order for them. I could not afford that much being a college student. Feeling like I wasted my time. My amazing wife then found Shoe HQ, upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Anne, She was very informative on proper shoe wear and I even noticed how well she watch the way my posture was when walking to see how my feet were impacting the floor. She took the time to even measure my feet to make sure that I looked at the right shoes. Anne, was wonderful I felt so happy that someone took the time to listen to my needs and her customer service was impeccable! Anne was a true asset to ShoeHQ. Anne, set me up with some insoles and shoes and I left ShoeHQ feeling great and knowing what I purchased is going to help my feet and legs so much. Anne doing what she did and spending more then just 3 minutes and seeing what shoes would change my life was more than I could have thought of. I would highly recommend this place, Go see Anne, if she isnt there ask to see her! A++++ service

FYI: I have spoken to the manager of the store before posting my concern.When I first went to the store I was quite impressed. Then, I bought a pair of shoes. :( The salesman chose the style and size of the running shoes for me. When he sized me, I told him the shoes were to big. He insisted on the size and wont listen to any on my comments. I had to order, pay in full and wait for the order to come in. When I picked them up, about three weeks latter, I told the salesman they were to large when I tried them on. He felt for the tip of my big toe and to the end of the shoe. It was a clear thumb width gap. He insisted that the shoes were fine.Since my doctor told me these folks know their jobs and I had already paid for and waited for the shoes, I went against my inner voice and my experience of wearing shoes for 60+ years and took the shoes with me. I wore them a few times and kept saying they were too big. Well, I tripped over the end of the shoe and took a tumble. (Im glad it happened when I was walking on carpet and not on a hike.) I was told that the toe box was way to wide for my feet. I other words the shoes are too big.So, I say this to say this. Dont let a sales person push you into buying a product you know is not right for you.Not at all happy with this purchase and the waste of $$$. I will be shopping other stores for the brands they carry.

The shoes are fashionable but yet supportive, as I need stability/motion control shoes. Store associates are always friendly, very knowledgeable about the stock, and do not pressure you to make a purchase. I have been purchasing shoes here for over five years.

I have been having serious pain in my feet and knees. I even had to wear a boot for 6 weeks for these problems. I found Foot Solutions by accident while in the shopping center. I went in one day and my husband was with me. I received an evaluation of my feet and was given recommendations for several different shoes. I picked a pair and LOVE them. I wore them to Disney World and walked around for several days and had none of the foot pain I had been experiencing. As I mentioned my husband was with me when I made my purchase, he liked the professionalism of the sales girl and the evaluation so long story short he had an evaluation, also purchased a pair of shoes and he also had very happy feet at Disney World. We each actually bought two pair of shoes and are extremely happy. I would highly recommend this store!!

Foot Solutions was highly recommended to me from both my physical therapist (Sean Nixon at Back In Action-HS) and several friends from my gym. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and they informed me that I was wearing the wrong shoe for my gait. They made recommendations and within two weeks, my heel pain was considerably better. I would highly recommend Foot Solutions.

Anne is an excellent example of top notch customer service. I am amazed how much she could observe from watching my husband walk. She saw something he never knew, one of his legs is shorter than the other. She corrected this by finding inserts that adjusted his height and the correct shoe size to accommodate the inserts. Later, we found out from my mother-in-law that she had known about the leg length difference. While she didnt know it had caused him discomfort all these years, Anne corrected it today. Thank you Anne!!!!

Went in on a referral from a coworker and I felt like I was unwanted and interfered in their morning routine. Barely a hello, never a smile. Never felt like I was wanted. Walked out purchasing nothing.

I returned a pair of shoes I bought there. I was told since I paid in cash, I would get my refund back within 10 business days via a mailed check. It is now 12 business days later. I called the store and spoke to an associate, Ann. She said should would have Greg cut the check. I said, no Greg needs to call me with an explanation since this has taken so long. She reluctantly took down my number and said she would have Greg call me. We will see.....UPDATE: After receiving my complaint to the BBB, Greg called to say the check is in the mail.......dont you have anything better to do. Needless to say, this is not what I would call acceptable customer service, especially from the owner himself. I will never be back.

Very knowledgeable staff, attentive to specialized needs, and exceptional service all around. The store, formerly known as Foot Solutions of Cary but newly reborn as ShoeHQ of Cary, offers a variety of footwear needs such as shoes (seasonal, mens and womens, orthotic friendly, slippers, dressy, and casual), socks for various activities and medical needs, shoe laces and treatment/care items, and what I have always loved - and why I became a customer here three years ago initially - the custom orthotics available here. Measurement is quick and easy, the orthotics last a very long time (mine lasted three years or so before replacing them), and they will adjust/tweak those orthotics as needed. Bonus: they fit into the majority of shoes sold in the store, even some of the slippers.Since my first time shopping this store, I have yet to buy a pair of shoes or orthotics anywhere else. Even if I have to drive almost three hours to get here.The only downside (for me) is that they are closed on Mondays. I often have to be up this way on a Monday, so while I would love to come in then, its not possible because they are closed. However, they are open Saturdays and they do have very generous hours, so Ive made it work and will continue to do so. Hands down, the best shoe store I have ever been to in my life. Cant recommend ShoeHQ (the shoe store formerly known as Foot Solutions) highly enough!
