LOVE THIS LOCATION!!!!! They are polite, courteous, and quick! I get my car inspected yearly and they ALWAYS get me in and out. I appreciate their pleasant mannerisms! Now you know you gotta get your car inspected, u mine as well go on head to Snappy Lube. Theyre the BEST!!!!!

They put my air filter on upside down. I had to take my car to a repair shop. I havent heard back yet if they will cover the cost

By far the best place to get an oil change in cary. Very polite crew and they live to thier name cause I was in and out in a snap! Ive been coming here for my oil changes for 3 years and have never had an issue.

Its wonderful, the driveway is a little hard to navigate but the people there are wonderful. I will go back whenever I can.

I absolutely love their service. I have been going there for over two years, and since then, they have done everything correctly and do the best possible job they can. I love the fact that they let me stand outside and watch how they do the job, so that I can remember how they do it, so in the future, I can do it myself. Since I have gone there every time for two years, I have known the people who work there personally.

Last time Ill go here. Went for inspection and they tried to get me to pay for some extras, but Id just had my car at my regular shop and was pretty sure all I needed was to get the truck inspected. Got windshield wipers, but now Im not sure I needed them. Rarely drive the truck and it wasnt that long ago that I had them replaced. Was told I was all set. Paid the bill. Went to get the truck and the other two guys were standing in the middle of the room. I asked them if I was set to go and the one guy said just waiting on some paperwork. I said, so I guess Im not ready to go then. And he said, you can go anytime you want, you just wont get your paper work. Not the smartest thing to say to a customer. I was unsure because Id already been told when I paid that I was all set. Just dont need the aggravation. Ill go someplace else next time. I guess they dont need the business.

Fantastic service. impressed with the speed and honesty. had an oil change, and a tire rotation done in about 15 or 20. there was a list of items to take care of in the future, but no scare tactics or pushy sales so i cant get to mad. will be back

I have been a loyal customer to this location for almost 3 years. Not only are their prices affordable, but the technicians are incredibly friendly and helpful. Sure, they do try to upsell but thats just business. They are never pushy about it. I have never received less than exceptional service. I also dont feel taken advantage of because Im a woman and thats a huge problem Ive had in the past with other places.

If you are looking for a fast service, it will be Snappy, however, you are guaranteed to have a huge lack of customer service and you will be billed for something you have no knowledge of until you ask. They are not up front with you about that until your inspection is done. They really try to rush you in, and then rush you out.Both of my cars initially failed inspection due to faulty light bulbs. One of the guys there told me it would cost me about 1 hour of labor to change a front light bulb for the turn signal. He told me that the grill would have to come off to change it. Well, I took one side of the grill and loosened it and got the fixture out to change the bulb. Without my questioning it, it wouldve cost me about $80 to change it. Instead, I paid $5.99 for a pair of two bulb and investigated myself. On the other car, I had parking lights that needed to be replaced. Well, I took it back to get it inspected, didnt change the bulbs and they passed.Moral of the story: be prepared for something to fail because that business cannot live off of passed inspections and take it somewhere in which they will do a thorough inspection for the same price ($30) and give you precautions to look at. You do not pay for what you get at Snappy Lube.

Not impressed with these guys. They said they could replace a headlamp, but gave up after a few minutes of effort. Fast Lube Plus had no problem with it in the past, but theyre too far away from me now. Also, when I opened my glove box the next day, it fell apart, because the small hydraulic hinge had not been reinstalled properly after they checked the cabin filter. The price was not unreasonable, however, so two stars.

Went in for an inspection. Took about 15 minutes. (Not busy at the time.) Very pleasantly surprised that they seemed to have vacuumed the front mats.

Contrary to other reviewers my inspection experience has always been satisfactory. Both of my cars are newer (2011), so maybe thats why, but the attendants have been pilot and accomodating. I have never had my car serviced here though, so I cant speak to that.

Ben provides phenomenal service and offered several upgrades that really helped savings down the road! This is the only place I get my oil changed!

I am disappointed with the service quality received at this Snappy Lube because their negligence could have resulted in a lot more serious problems to my car. They did not tighten the oil filter well when they completed my oil change. As a result, my car was leaking oil steadily for weeks. I thought something serious was wrong. I kept topping it off to avoid serious damage to my engine. Finally I took it to the dealer since I just bought it in March of this year (2011 model). They found that the oil filter was not tightened well. They tightened it and topped off my oil. I have not seen any more oil leak. Snappy Lubes niche is they can guarantee that fast, lunch hour type of service, but it seems that they have compromised quality. An oversight like that can cause a lot of damage to someones vehicle. They should revisit their quality control standards. They have lost me, my husband, and all my other family members and friends as customers due to this sloppy work.

This is not an honest business. Dont recommend.On 4/23/2018 4:13PM, I have my full service Oil change for charge $41.99. Then I found out that my car was not vacuumed.And I asked them to explain what a full service means. I asked them to vacuumed my car. I feel very pissed off.

This was a while back but they said I needed to replace two light bulbs and charged me for both of them. When I got home later that night I realized they didnt replace either of them...

I was down from college to visit my mother. While riding out with my friend ended up with a flat tire. They mechanics at Snappy Lube were friendly and their service was quick.

As others have said, they try to rip you off. Went in for an inspection (only because they were boooked at Merchants up the street) and they said it was $30. Fine. Watched them yank at stuff under my hood, take out my air filter, not even look at it, place it on top of my car. They came in and said they need to charge $10 for the tint check. I have had this problem in the past, and I know when my tint wont pass. It isnt even close. In fact, its just factory tint on my car, or possibly no tint at all. There was nothing to check. They insisted, and I relented, which I now regret.Afterwards, they came in and tried to tell me my air filter was bad (it wasnt) and that I needed a bunch of services (they dont even know if those things were done).Im a woman and I know enough about cars to know that they were trying to take advantage. Even though its the closest place to my office for maintenance, Ill never come back.

Brought my car in for state inspection and they refilled my washer fluid, checked air pressure, vacummed the interior, and washed the windows. Not sure if this is standard procedure, or they were alow at the time, but excellent service regardless.

Think again. The entrance was blocked, so I pulled around to see if there was a wait. I walked in, and the employees had their feet up on the chairs playing with their phones. I would not leave a multi thousand dollars vehicle in these guys hands.

Had my car inspected here this week, claimed I had three tail lights out and needed new wiper blades, wanted $50 to fix it all. I declined, went home and checked it all out, nothing was wrong with tail-lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, etc. I didnt do anything to the lights other than press the brake, put in reverse, etc. One wiper blade was starting to separate rubber from metal, a very very small amount that didnt affect the performance at all, but I went ahead and replaced it myself just in case. Took it back in and it miraculously passed even though I hadnt done anything to fix my broken tail-lights. Theyre crooks just looking to take advantage of, in my case, a young woman. I wont be going back here.

Failed my inspection because the serpentine belt looked like it wouldnt last much longer, which is crap. I know they took advantage of me for being a female and coming alone. I got other advice and they laughed when I told them what I was failed for. Ladies, act like you know it all going here or they will walk over you. When I got the new belt, the mechanic told me to keep my old belt because there was nothing wrong with it! Never ever going back!

I am very disappointed with the service or lack thereof. I will take responsibility for having factory tint that is darker than the limit but most auto shops can eyeball this and tell you before completing, failing and charging you. Once the full inspection was done I was told it failed because of my tint. Really? This is quite ridiculous to have to pay $33 for a failed tint inspection. I can see anything else where it takes a bit of time to see the issue. But tint? If you have any experience with inspections you can see that it will fail. There was no courtesy to tell me this and I can make no other conclusions but to think they were just trying to get over and make more money. If you have dark tint or anything you think will fail inspection..dont go here.

Went for a state inspection. The technician told me that I needed change of wiper blades (which were 1 month old) and the power steering belts need to be replaced and it will cost $80. Took it Tao Auto who services my vehicle regularly to get them replaced and he said none of the belts need replacement. Going to get it inspected elsewhere and post my experience.Update: Went by the station and Bryan refused to pass the inspection citing that the Power Steering belt is cracked. Took it to another inspection station and they checked everything and passed it.Called DMV @ Avent Ferry and filing an official complaint. I would like my money back.NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN

Do not go Snappy Lube..They try to charge extra for changing parts even does not needed. Also they charged $10 for just changing licence plate bulb which i got from somewhere else..

They do an ok oil change, but really do the high-pressure up-sell. Once they even showed us how dirty our air filter was and you could tell theyd sprinkled pine-straw and loose dirt on. :-/
