I received a gift card (from my sister from out of state) here. I called both locations & said I had gift card to redeem. Based on my schedule I chose the Cary location. When I went to pay, I was informed my gift card was only valid for the Raleigh location. This wasnt mentioned when I scheduled & I said I had a gift card. The lady at checkout said it states this policy on their website. I had been on website & hadnt seen it. I did look again & website does say it on the gift card link for purchasing, valid for one location. I never looked there because I wasnt buying one & my sister didnt tell me either. They did end up helping me redeem it & Im very glad. I think the staff should tell a client if they have a gift card to make sure its for correct location as well as put that info on home page-not under a link. The facial was ok/fair, the room I was in didnt have a mirror which would be helpful after a treatment.

I really enjoy some time to myself at La Therapie for massages. It is a great escape from the everyday for some self care. The staff is wonderful and the massages are out of this world. I also thoroughly enjoy the sauna and relaxation room.

My boyfriend surprised me with a couples massage and they neglected to share the full spa was not open for use. So afterwards no shower could be taken to rinse off all the oils which where in my hair and they didn’t even offer a towel. No complimentary waters were provided after the massage. There were no robes for my boyfriend or myself to use in our room. Expense/cost was above average. Massages were not up to scale. The massage therapist didn’t not take directive well when explained problem areas and pressure needed. Unsatisfied customer.

My massage was excellent and I really enjoyed the environment until the end. I had called to make an appointment and told them I had a giftcard for a particular service- I decided to book with the Cary location because I believed the person who gifted it to me had purchased it at the Cary location not knowing they were not interchangeable. When I arrived, I mentioned again that I would be using a giftcard. Smooth sailing? Not exactly.When I was checking out after my massage, the receptionist informed me that I would have to pay out of pocket for my service and could keep my gift card to use at the Raleigh location another time. She also mentioned that the receptionist booking the appointment over the phone should have confirmed that the giftcard was for the Cary location. As a college student who had just paid my tuition for the upcoming semester, I did not have enough funds in my checking account and explained that I would have to run to the bank and either withdraw or transfer the money from my savings account, which i was completely willing to do. Its partly my fault after all, I didn’t read the fine print. It was at this time I also noticed a posted message on the counter stating word for word “Your gift cards are now as useful as ever! Gift Cards purchased at the Cary location can now be redeemed at the Raleigh location as well.” The receptionist had previously mentioned that they couldnt process the gift card because the POS systems are different so I asked how that sign could be true. At this point, she went and brought the manager out. They said they’d have to take a picture of my license if I were to go to the bank- OK, i get it, you don’t want customers to take advantage, i understand that. They proceeded to question me and looked me up and down and said “are you sure you don’t have a credit card” in a condescending tone which clearly expressed that they did not believe me. No, I had told them several times that I only had a debit card and would need to go to the bank for the payment to go through. Feeling judged and looked down upon, I started tearing up and asked to step outside to 1) call a family member to bail me out because I was not willing to leave and come back anymore and 2) gather myself- I was embarrassed, after all. When I asked this, I could tell they were calculating the risk that I’d run off to my car without paying- Queue the waterworks as soon as I stepped outside. Luckily, a family member agreed to bail me out. I went back in to tell them they would be calling to settle my bill and went back outside to wait for confirmation it was paid because, at this point, I was inconsolable and didn’t want to appear, once again, like I was ditching. They ended up accepting the gift card and my relative even paid the tip to my masseuse- the managements actions werent any fault of hers.After reading reviews of this Spa, I realize that my experience hassling over gift cards is not unique but I hope my experience of being questioned and judged is. I left stressed and upset. I learned that the Cary location is merging soon with the Raleigh location so there won’t be any more discrepancy about where the gift cards can be redeemed but I would still recommend that the business spend some time training employees about customer service and effective communication.

I have been a client at La Therapie/Lorena Luca for years. I have always been more than pleased with the services there. However, earlier today I called and booked a service for 330 today. I was beyond disappointed (and irritated) to find the salon closed when I arrived for my appointment. When I called the CARY number I was informed my appt had been scheduled in the Raleigh location. Nothing was mentioned during my phone call that the two locations had been combined! I was told patrons had been notified via their emails. This is terrible customer service. It should have been mentioned when scheduling. I would never have accepted the appt knowing it was in the Raleigh location. I planned my whole day off around this 330 appt only to find out @ 305 that I would not have this opportunity. I was offered a complimentary service to reschedule in the Raleigh location which I declined. Very, very disappointed.

Christin was sooooo AMAZING!!!! She did fillers underneath the eye for me. She made me comfy throughout the whole procedure. She explained the process and risks perfectly to my understanding and my results were FLAWLESS!!!! Coming back FOREVER!!!!

I had a few people recommend La Therapie to me, so I decided to try it out for a facial. It was so welcoming and calming when you walk in, then I was lead upstairs to wait for my provider. I cannot say enough good things about my provider, Elizabeth. I am 4 months pregnant and didnt want to use anything with too many chemicals, she was super accommodating and gave me a great, relaxing service! I will definitely be back

I have been going monthly for a while now and have had nothing but wonderful experiences! Avery has been doing my facials and couldn’t recommend her enough. She is very personable and has an awesome touch. Front desk staff is also very friendly. Highly recommend La Therapie!

INCREDIBLE! I had the most amazing massage! 80 minutes of therapeutic​ relaxation. I felt amazing afterward! The therapist was incredibly talented (Barb) and the spa is beautiful. Everyone was friendly and dressed in a stylish black outfit. There was a darling woman running around getting people water and tea and making you feel like royalty. I grabbed a menu of services on my way out and Im really impressed with all the spa offers. This would be the perfect place to have a ladies day or a couples escape. Cant wait to go back!

The pedicure I received here was out of this world. The woman took her time and I did not feel rushed at all. The atmosphere is legit a spa type environment and very calming. My feet feel silky smooth and light after leaving. I have yet to try out massages here, but I heard they are amazing. Thats next on my list :)

This was my first visit to La Therapie and I’m in love! I had a massage service with Jaime and she was the best massage therapist I’ve ever experienced. I had to reschedule my appointment a couple of times (because flu season) and the gals up front were so easy to work with and understanding. The location is very convenient and the atmosphere is beautiful. You instantly calm down when you step inside. I will definitely be back as soon as my schedule allows!

I had an overall great experience! This is my favorite spa by far. I booked an escape package which included a massage, facial and pedicure. All of the services were fantastic! The only feedback I would say is that if you are booking a pedicure, be sure to ask if they remove gel polish. It took a very long time to remove my polish and had I had known in advance, I would have had it removed prior to my visit.

I called to schedule an appointment for my wife, and I was looking for a well-rounded day spa that had varied offerings of services. I was delighted that I could plan everything for her at La Therapie Spa. The receptionist was accommodating and personable when I called. She walked me through the options and assisted me in selecting the right services for my wife, who was pregnant at the time. I am also glad to say that they send out appointment confirmations and reminders via text messaging, which is very handy when you have a hectic calendar with multiple children and their extracurricular activities.We live about an hour away from this location in Cary, and this place is completely worth the drive. Upon walking into the reception area of La Therapie Spa, my wife and I were greeted by the friendly and courteous front desk staff. There was a relaxing ambiance softly playing through the speakers as well as refreshing scents in the air that were not too overpowering or pungent, this all combined to make the atmosphere very relaxed and welcoming.I know my wife will want to come back and most likely become a regular customer of La Therapie Spa. This initial experience was very positive, and we were both impressed with the level of customer service and thoughtful little details that the staff put into making this an enjoyable experience for my deserving wife.

Fabulous staff who really listens to and even anticipates your concerns and needs. I will not get a facial anywhere else (acne prone, sensitive, extremely dry combo skin). Definitely request Jen K if you are getting a facial! For those of you looking for laser hair removal, I find their laser treatments much more effective and less painful than those I have had in the past from other spas and doctors offices.

Lisa is an amazing injector. She is so passionate about this field and has an uncanny eye for detail. She makes this a very easy experience with her gentle touch, talking you through the process, and injecting humor as well! Her experience and credentials speak for her talent. This is your face! It must be in the hands of someone with years of experience!

I have been going to La Therapie since it opened and I absolutely love it! My skin is sensitive and whenever I get my eyebrows done, Becca remembers not to use certain products and what I like. She has a lot of clients but I feel like the only one. I also have been getting my hair cut and occasionally colored over the past 5 years. I never leave disappointed. I highly suggest this place for an eyebrow wax or haircut for sure. In addition, I love the facials and ask for Becca. Shes amazing!

One of the best spas in the area. Love the ambience, sauna, knowledgeable staff, and choice of products for sale. It is not cheap; sign up for their email list to hear about the monthly specials. My teen also loves going there, and I like that they have facials created especially for teenagers.

Nice people, but... Usually when I get a full leg wax, both legs are fully waxed, hip to heal, front and back. But I must have asked for the poodle because large sections around my knees, and some around my ankles were completely missed on both legs, but oddly not the same large areas. Other than that, the people are very friendly. The boutique soaps and such up front are lovely.

I received a gift card for La Therapie and booked at 80 min relaxing massage with Barbara. It was absolutely wonderful! The facilities are clean, comfortable and gorgeous. Unfortunately, there isnt ANY advertisement for what she does on their website, and this is a mandatory thing to do to represent their company and the employees they have. La Therapie is my favorite spa in Cary to go to for any service. A friend gifted me a certificate for a massage a few years ago and I’ve been going ever since. The staff is warm and professional and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. Marissa is an incredible esthetician- I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very good service, nice facility. This was my first time here, and I liked their service and professionalism. I did not have any severe condition, or even one that was bothering too much. So I would not really validate the massage techniques at the moment.

Was looking for a new Nova lash technician and I found one. She is amazing. The spa is clean , relaxing and great environment. My lashes are put on well and lasts. Price is a bit high but worth it and lashes stay on so you can go once a month.

I have been going to La Therapie since they opened for facials and they have the most knowledgeable staff. Lisa has been working with me the last couple months and I receive so many complements on my skin she really knows what she is doing and has been following up with me to insure I am happy. They look at their clients as long term customers so really care about how the client feels about the results.

My sister came into town and we decided we needed some sister spa time. Being new to the area, I wasnt really sure where to go. After extensive Google searches I decided to try La Therapie. I booked us each an hour message and facial. Although we had to drive about 30 minutes to get there, once we walked in, I knew it was well worth it. This is a REAL day spa. You have a locker for your belongings and change into a really nice bath robe and flip flops. When we were done exploring the luxurious changing room, we were brought upstairs to an elegant sitting room where we were offered different beverages. The facial was really comprehensive. She definitely knew what she was doing and covered all the important components of a good facial, like using a steamer before performing extractions. After the facial, I sat in the sauna for awhile before my message. The massage therapist was very attentive to what I needed. The only small issue was that we were charged for an aromatherapy add on from our facials, but we were never told there was a charge for it. But the staff were very accommodating and didnt end up charging us for it. FYI: the aromatherapy is not a worthy add on to the facial. I hope to have a chance to go back and get pampered again!

As soon as I can find an appointment that fits my schedule, Ill be visiting here again. I love its intimate and quiet setting and the personnel here are so nice. My adult daughter and I visited here on my first visit ever to a spa, and I have since been two more times on my own. Always the service is great, and the experience keeps me wanting to come back. Now, to find time on my calendar! You do have to make an appointment in advance, and I was unable to get one over the holidays. Next year, Ill plan ahead!

This place is phenomenal or should I say Jennifer is phenomenal! I saw her for a microneedling service, (this treatment assist with pore reduction, scarring, skin tightening, even skin tone, smooths out wrinkles, and gives you a fabulous glow), which I had done many times before or so I thought! This might as well should have been my first microneedling because after 3 days this has been the best results I have ever had!!! Jennifer is very experienced and very knowledgeable about what she does. As I was previously in the industry I know, she knows what she is talking about. She makes you feel very comfortable, relaxed, and confident that she will do everything possible to meet your goals. She surpassed my expectations and I am so excited to return to her!!! I highly recommend her for any treatment that she provides, even though I have only seen her for one service. I guarantee you will be more than satisfied with your results too!

Came here by referral since the last 3 massages Ive received at various places were disappointing. Barbara and Kelly (couples massage) were incredible. My husband and I were both impressed. You can tell when someone is just going through the motions and that is NOT the case here. Im ready to come back! Also liked the dry sauna very much. Very friendly staff.

I had a gift certificate so had a mani/pedi done and loved it!! I was relaxed, comfortable, enjoyed the conversation with Marisa. My legs were softer and felt more energized for days and my nails looked great. I will absolutely be going back.

I have had many massages and facials at La Therapie. Everyone of the services is all I could ask for it to be. I prefer LaTherapie over the higher end Spas in our area. The atmosphere is more relaxing and services better.

I unfortunately missed my appointment due to severe illness. The front desk was unwilling to provide my a one time courtesy of waiving the fee. A 100% charge for all services missed! There was also never a courtesy reminder about this policy during the appointment or on the text reminder. I would expect a one time courtesy especially for something out of ones control and a current customer. Won’t be going back but I can tell they don’t care! Life happens good business should be flexible to retain customers.

I have gone to La Therapie several times for massages, facials and pedicures and they are hands down one of the best spas in the area. The atmosphere is very tranquil, the staff is awesome, and the service is impeccable. Id definitely recommend their facility over some of the higher end spas in NC.

Great O2 facial with Avery, very relaxing and thorough. My skin felt great afterwards. I also had a hot stone massage that was disappointing - felt that the therapist was rushed, and instead of using the stones to massage me, it was almost like the stones were being used to spread copious amounts of oil all over me. The stones were not used in strategic muscle groups and afterwards I did not have the benefits of having had a true massage. Let the front desk know. They charged me for a less costly massage and discounted that by 10%. Whilst it was something, it would have been more appropriate for them to have compensated me with a complimentary hot stone massage with another therapist at a later date.

Was so relaxing and just a great massage. The robes were a nice touch.

I will never go back. I had TWO back to back HORRIBLE experiences. I was getting a pedicure and the Nail Tech CUT my foot! I paid FULL price! They did not offer any kind discount with horrible experience I had. After a few months I decided to give them another chance. Another AWFUL mistake that was. I was on time for my appointment. They were running late, messed up my manicure, didnt offer to fix it, or take any money off the price. This place is over priced and not worth it. No one should ever go there to pay that much money for such awful service!

I have gotten both facials and injectables at La Therapie spa and loved my results! Marisa was my medical aesthetician for the perfect derma peel (my most recent service) and she was so knowledgable and caring concerning post-peel care! Even if you are not interested in services, check out their products (Neostrata and Skinceuticals are my favs).

Ive been coming here for a relaxing massage for over 5 years and have always had a great experience, but today was exceptional! Jeanetta was so fabulous from beginning to end! I could not be happier!

Calm, friendly environment and knowledgeable staff

I had previous good experiences at the Spa but today I had an appointment at 11:15 and I sat in the waiting area for 30mins without being acknowledged. So I went to the front desk to let them know I had been waiting an half hour and they only could offer me “sorry do you want to reschedule” I will never return. This is unacceptable. If I was 30 mins late to the appt they would have charged me for the whole time and shorten my service. Waisted my gas and time because not like I live around the corner.

Outstanding mani/pedi by Clarissa. They could improve on the chairs for the manicure. They are difficult to move, uncomfortable, and they are too high for the table.
