Staff here have gone above & beyond to assist us with our older dog. If our vet is out of the office, other caring staff/vet have reached out to help us. We are grateful to have found this practice.

I have been going there for many, many years. Dr. Wyatt and entire staff are truly the best. They are patient and take their time explaining with all issues my babies had. When I bring my pets there, I know they will be getting the best of care and are in the best hands. My one cat was a stray who once tore up the office room. Dr. Wyatt knew he was just terrified and handle the situation unbelievably well with compassion . The same kitty is now very calm with them. Trust me when I say they know what they are doing and have total faith with Dr. Wyatt and entire staff.

Dr Wyatt and her amazing team do a fabulous job taking care of my babies Hank and Walter. They must be good as I live about 40 minutes from their office. The drive is always worth it because they are the best. Highly recommend them, and by the way they have the nicest facility I have ever seen.

Dr Wyatt and the staff at The Animal Doctor of Cary have been wonderful. I initially contacted Dr Wyatt regarding an orthopedic surgery for our dog (our primary clinic does not preform orthopedic surgery), she called me back and we spoke for about an hour covering different procedures, costs and after care. She was very detailed in her explanation of each option and incredibly patient with us. She also caught a life threatening heart condition, prior to his surgery, that our dog developed (due to his breed) and while we have had to postpone his orthopedic surgery I have made the decision to make The Animal Doctor of Cary our primary veterinary clinic. I credit Dr Wyatt with saving our pets life and I am thankful that she has afforded us more time with him.

Weve been bringing our cats and dogs here for the last three years and have had all good experiences. Dr. Garr usually sees our pets and gives helpful information and has a calm friendly demeanor. I never feel missinformed or rushed here. Additionally, our recently adopted dog had surgery here to correct a bad surgery done at another clinic and we were so grateful for the promptness, care, and concern for our new pup and his healing.These veterinarians really care about animals!

Have to drop a review here for Dr. Daus and TAD in Cary. Their quick assessment and confidence in their training saved our dogs life this past week. Using ultrasound, they were able to see a lot of fluid in his abdomen and Dr Daus guessed that he had swallowed something like a piece of a wooden skewer....which is exactly what it was. His small intestine was perforated. Dr. Daus advocated and communicated with VSC in Buffalo Grove to get our dog in immediately (at a time they were so busy they werent taking new appointments). He had surgery and doing much better this week. Thank you TAD. P.S. - Great idea to have pet insurance like we do.....highly recommend!

Have been going to “The Animal Doctor” for over 20 years. Have always been impressed with their professionalism and quality of service. They are very thorough and make sure they have the right treatment your pet. I recommend you put your pets life in their hands.

During these weird times they do the best they can of keeping the owner informed of what’s happening with your animal and what they recommend. They make payment easy and show you everything they did in a print out. It’s nice when the doctor can call you and go over everything while your animal is with them.

Seven years ago, we adopted our American Bulldog from this veterinary hospital, where he had lived as a rescued dog for seven months. For him, the hospital has always been a much-loved home away from home. We drive all the way from Chicago for The Animal Doctor’s stellar care. Dr. Wyatt is truly the best. We have dachshunds and she really understands the breed and is the only vet we have been able to find who gives straight forward, no nonsense answers.

I have been bringing my Australian Shepherd Scarlet to the Animal Doctor since she was 13 weeks old. She was spayed there at 6 months and just recently had minor surgery to remove a benign tumor over her right eye. Dr. Daus and the entire staff are compassionate, efficient and extremely capable. Scarlet is now 7 years old and she loves going to the Animal Doctor!

Looking forward to when we are able to go in with our pets and speak with the vet in person.

The Animal Doctor vets are the only ones she has had for the 6,5 years of her life. If you know mals, that says a lot about the patience and caring of the doctors.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Wyatt for nearly 20 years. I have consistently received excellent care for my fur-babies and have not ever considered going anywhere else. Even in less than ideal situations, Dr. Wyatt and the staff at The Animal Doctor have been caring, compassionate, and professional. The care my babies have received is awesome. I will continue to take my babies to Dr. Wyatt as long as she is there.

No compassion for the owners or their pets. We were going to put down our cat and they were rude and extremely inconsiderate about how upset we were. Don’t waste your time or your animals go to a different vet. Nope we spoke on the phone and it was a very rude and insensitive conversation. I can assure you it was this location. 2/10

The staff is always respectful, caring, and patient. The doctors truly care, listen and give alternatives to treatment. They never rush a decision. Never have to wait long. Highly recommend this business.

We have now had 2 scares with one of our ferrets. The first time he went into anaphylactic shock, Dr. Wyatt was able to help him. I dont know if they even had any openings but it was an emergency and they took him. She diagnosed him with diabetes. She was extremely helpful through the terrifying process.More recently, our little ferret decided to go into anaphylactic shock again, this time due to a reaction he had to his annual vaccine. Dr. Garr mentioned this was a possibility and was professional and helpful through it all. They stayed late with us as we thought we were saying goodbye to our little guy, she called multiple emergency exotic vets for us, and the rest of the staff was so helpful and supportive too. I cant thank them enough for everything they did!

This is a very friendly, professional vet that only cares for the safety of the customers and their pets. Extra precautions in place during Covid-19.Many services available and all techs and vets are super friendly with dogs and cats of all sizes...we have 2 Great Danes. We have used this vet for routine vaccinations all the way to surgeries. Would defiantly recommend them.

A first class operation in all areas of patient care! Both the professional and clinical staff provide excellent care for the patient and clear and caring guidance for the owner. We own senior dogs and the clinical team goes out of their way to ensure that they receive the very best care possible!

Our Cavachon Bella recently had knee surgery by Dr. Wyatt, and the results have been great. Kathy the therapy person is also very helpful . The front staff is welcoming. I would highly recommend this wonderful veterinarian office.

I was able to get an appointment for the day after I called. It was not an emergency. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to fully discuss my concerns with Dr Wyatt. She spent more time with me than my own physicians do! She was very patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Her recommendations were conservative, which impressed me, because Ive had bad experiences with vets that want to run tests, and run up a bill right away. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience, and plan on taking all my pets there in the future.

The women here are so sweet and caring! Im so happy I took my kitten here to get him checked up. I could tell that everyone there adored the animals and their jobs.

This vet care clinic is the best I have found.Dr. Schmidt is superior for my fur baby needs and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I occasionally have to leave my dog for boarding and he always comes home healthy and well. Michael always checks us in and he truest loves animals.

We have been taking our Standard schnauzer Griffin to the Animal Doctor for all 13 years of his life and we could not have asked for a better group of outstanding, caring vets who listen to us and give options to just about every issue Griffin has had in his senior years. They call at night with test results and both Dr. Wyatt and Dr. Garr have spent up to an hour each call with us going over test results, options and answering all of our questions and concerns. Also huge thanks to Kathy in PT for the work she did with Griffins bad ACL avoiding surgery. All of the staff are so caring and friendly too!

Definitely the place for your most loved pets! I was recommended to The Animal Doctor by one of my friends. It was the best thing I ever did. Although the news was not good, Dr Wyatt was outstanding and went the extra mile of communicating with me on the weekend for my concerns. Always willing to answer questions and spend as much time as needed with me and my pet. The staff is wonderful and even the company that does their snowplowing in the winter! I was the last patient of the evening on an evening that it snowed heavily, unknown to me, I dropped my wallet in the parking lot getting the dog into the car. They called me the next morning saying that they had it, before I even knew it was gone! The plow drive saw it in the drive and picked it up. I was so grateful, as I was traveling the next week and would have been in a tough spot without my DL!

Dr. Wyatt is the most compassionate, thoughtful, and caring veterinarian in the world - human medicine doctors should learn from her (I am not joking). Can you find cheaper veterinarians, sure, but you will not find a better one. She has never tried to push a procedure that wasnt medically necessary and is always willing to make sure you completely understand what is happening. She treats your pet like he/she is one of her own family.

The vets are knowledgeable and caring, the techs compassionate, and the front desk receptive and friendly. The waiting room is extremely clean and large enough so that our pets are not on top of each other. When one of the vets calls with results, they do not rush and answer all questions till I am satisfied or understand the test outcomes. I highly recommend this practice.

We brought our dog here for an ACL tear surgery and rehab. Not only did the procedure go extremely well, all the staff including the techs, ladies in the front, and Dr. Wyatt treated our dog and us with compassion. It was a difficult recovery and all the staff were so kind every time we walked into the building. They remembered both the owners and greeted our dog by name. We have told many people since the surgery that Dr. Wyatt is the best medical professional we have had the experience of working with. She took her time with each appointment, explaining the procedure and his progression without ever making us feel like our questions were not important or we were taking too much of her time. Kathy, who did our dogs rehab, took time answering all of our questions, gave us tips and helped us through an emotional appointment. Every time our dog would see her, he would light up. Dogs are family in our house so we take it seriously who they are seen by. I would recommend The Animal Doctor to anyone- it is a tremendous facility.

Great caring staff. My mom has been coming here forever. Recently we had to put my dog to sleep and brought her here. We have been going here for a few years. They are one of the few places who treat rabbits and other exotics as well as dogs and cats. Great, caring and knowledgeable staff with reasonable prices. They also board animals.

Our dogs go to the animal doctor. It is a great place. The staff is very helpful and understanding about our pets. The offices and lobby are very fresh, clean and cheerful. Our dogs enjoy coming to the Animal Doctor.

Lacey Schmidt, DVM came to our house today to help us say goodby to our 16 year old cat Finn who my wife loved more than any other pet weve ever had. Tough day for both of us to say the least. Kind and caring. They provide same day appointments. A little higher priced than other vets but they are very thorough and knowledgeable.

The doctors here are extremely smart and very capable. They care about your animals and truely want the best for them. They are not out to sell you packages or frivolous things. Anything they recommend is because its truely for the well being of your pet. If your in the area give them a try you wont be disoppointed.

The staff is outstanding, compassionate, excellent services. My cat which I got from Helping Paws was taken care of from him as a kitten until this death at 17 and half years old. They kept him in excellent health and also grooming. He needed to be sedated for his many haircuts. Can not say enough good things about Dr. Garr and the others. Very clean clinic too.

Dr. Carr at the Animal Doctor is great. She did acupuncture on my German Shepherd that helped slow down his hind end deterioration. She also treated my Great Dane and cats. It’s a very nice practice with caring staff.

I have been going to The Animal Doctor since the practice first opened about 12-13 years ago. The vets have always been very professional and helpful. I like the fact that they can do a lot of diagnostic work in-house. I also do cat rescue and they are very open to seeing rescue cats. I feel that my pets are respected and treated very well.

I feel confident in the entire staff at The Animal Doctor. Today I had Dr Daus, she took her time with me and my dog. I feel that all discussions with my veterinarian about my about my pets health were respectful and that the doctors are up to date on latest research.

I went multiple times here for my Guinea pigs and at first it was fine but then they started lecturing me and then I heard my Guinea pigs screaming in there care! They also were talking about me and how I care for my pigs! So I would NOT recommend them to anyone. The prices are pretty good but that is it.
