This place is great. Everyone is cool but also very professional. Had a dozen Waterford crystal tumblers engraved for my wedding and they worked with me every step of the way to make sure I had exactly what I wanted/needed to reach my goal. Couldnt be happier with the finished product

I guess Im the minority here. While the staff was very nice while in the retail space and inquiring about my engraving, that was pretty much the end of my positive experience here. I was charged almost $100 for a very small project which took months to complete. After the very long wait, I received my piece with less than stellar results.I understand that there are always variables with these things but the lack of communication and terribly long wait time (to which I had to engage business twice just to get any sort of update on the satus of my piece). The text on one side is WAY off center and its not as if it was super complicated. It was one word.. after all this I didnt even bother communicating my frustration, I just took it and left.UPDATED: After my first review of Five Star, they have totally redeemed themselves. The issues with my product were addressed quickly and resolved. Five Star went above expectations by replacing my item, re engraving it and mailing to me. The piece is perfect and Im more than pleased.

I went to FiveStar in order to get some custom trophies and awards for a company meeting. These folks were great to collaborate with and take great pride in the quality of their work. The quality is great and they made sure to provide mock ups prior to creating the trophies so I knew exactly what I was getting. Highly recommended!

I ordered face shields for some doctors that help with the homeless in downtown Raleigh. They had them ready within a day and the doctors loved them! This an awesome company with an awesome staff. I placed my first order with them back in 2010 and was impressed when they were working out of a house. I have used 5Star Awards both personally and professionally. I first discovered them when I needed to have a perpetual trophy engraved, and many places didnt want to do such a small job. But they did a great job and were very professional and reasonably priced. So when I needed to place a larger order of 10 custom awards for my company, they were my first choice. It ended up being a little last minute (my fault), but they were able to suggest the best product for what we needed, made sure it was finished on time, and every piece of engraved glass came out perfect. I would trust them with anything!

5Star Awards helped me engrave some beer glasses for my groomsmen, and they did a great job! The double curve of the special glasses was no problem for them, they were fast, and the price was fair. An all around great experience!

I have used 5Star on many occasions. Recently, I had two jobs: one a memorial plaque for a friend in PA (my summer residence) and one a gag trophy for a friend in a local sports club. The order information was given to 5Star on about Dec 5, 2016. I needed the plaque (stone with photo imagery) to carry on a trip back to PA in 10 days. Despite pre-holiday rush, the work was done on time and the recipient was thrilled. The trophy requested was a medium loving cup w/engraving with a centrally mounted 3D object...all in a shocking pink color! I left that one in their hands and it was also done superbly. Costs are very reasonable, work is excellent. 5Star is definitely 5 Star in my book.

For Christmas, I bought 4 large purses for the 4 most important women in my life (mother, wife, two daughter-in-laws) with the 5Star Awards inscribed tortoise shell monograms. All 4 women were very happy and excited about the gifts, especially the personalized monogram.I also had a picture of one of my sons in a yoga pose atop a mountain that was taken during a 50 mile hike. I asked 5Star Awards what they could do to make a special memory. Lisa, the owner, looked at the slate colored rock in the picture and pulled out a flat piece of slate from her stock. She then sublimated the picture onto the slate (shell have to tell you what that means) . The result was a picture of a mountain on a piece from a similar rock. It was stunning and now is a treasured part of his home.5Star Awards has sandblasted mugs for our family business to commemorate our accomplishments and even created individual family crests for each member out of sandblasted acrylic. There seems to be no end to the quality and creativity that their team delivers!
