Quartet offers excellent communication and service dedicated to your pets comfort and health. The staff was very polite and thorough, even in the middle of the night. Im sure emergency vet services are not easy jobs, and this staff seemed top notch. Glad to have Quartet close by, gives me peace of mind. Cowboy doesn’t love medical facilities, but he seemed happy (and well cared for) coming out.

A shout out to the doctors and staff at Quartet animal Hospital in Apex. The communication was outstanding! They were so busy and yet I could speak to a doctor within minutes of calling. As we struggled with the decision as to whether to have surgery done on our elderly cat or put her down, they were informative, supportive and honest. The cost of services was fair as well. We said goodbye to our 15 year old furry friend tonight and Quartet staff gave us a private room and as much time as we needed. Thank you

I went back and forth on whether I wanted to share this review. I was referred to Quartet from my vet after our dog became very ill. We checked him in at Quartet to ensure he received around the clock care he needed. Our sweet dog spent a little under a week at Quartet and there was not one moment during the week that Quartet made us feel confident in their services or people. I believe that Quartets personnel are simply overwhelmed at the amount of patients they are attempting to juggle. We would wait hours on end waiting to hear from a doctor with some kind of update and recommendation. Most times we only heard from the doctors in the middle of the night. I assume this was their slowest time. We received calls at 10 pm, 11 pm and 11:45 pm. When we finally had to put our beloved to sleep, Quartet kept my 8 year old daughter waiting for more than an hour to just be able to say goodbye to him.I realize that we are still in a pandemic and everyone is underwater. I sympathize with the workers there, I really do. But when they wouldnt even give some sort of attention and priority to a family putting their dog to sleep, something is very wrong.

Dr. Shultz and Dr. Gallagher we’re amazing at caring for our Dachshund Levi! He needed surgery for a disc that herniated in his back from IVDD. From start to finish they treated him promptly and ensured we were doing everything we could for him and encouraged us to recover at home once he was ready. They are the most affordable emergency vet care around and we traveled from out of town to be there! I will forever be thankful for the care they have given Levi and our family during such a emotional time. They gave us 80-90% odds Levi would walk again and for that, that is something I don’t think we could ever repay!🎉❤️

They took amazing care of my boy from start to finish. They were amazingly helpful with aftercare and Dr. Clark even called to ask how things were going. They are honest, fairly priced, and do everything they can to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet. All times I went were during covid, so I do not know how clean the inside is however there was no infection after my dog’s hip surgery and he came out smelling like a sterile hospital, so I believe it is safe to say they are very clean. Callie was the receptionist that I always spoke to and she was wonderful as well. That whole staff really just made the entire 8-week process a breeze and I am forever grateful. Thank you!

I am overall happy with the services that I received. I do wish that I was proactively communicated with regarding the time it would take (as there was a more urgent case that took precedence over my cat, Storm). However, I was able to call and check in to see how Storm was doing. I appreciated most how my questions were thoroughly answered by the vet technician regarding aftercare for Storm (he was diagnosed w/ a UTI).

I took my kitty here on a Saturday because she had not eaten or drank water since the previous Tuesday. Saturday was a bit difficult because we ended up having to wait in the parking lot almost all day while she was looked at and her treatment plan was made. She ended up staying for three days while they did every possible test to figure out what was wrong. We ended up having to transfer her to a facility with more diagnostic tools, so keep that in mind before bringing your pet here if they have something weird going on that needs a specific test.I was mostly impressed with their incredible empathy and communication. I wish we had been able to keep her here instead of transferring. We were able to call at all hours (even 4 am) and get a detailed update on how shes doing and what they have done to treat her. The vets (especially Dr. Olson) would stay on the phone with us sometimes up to 40 minutes at a time answering all of our questions. The techs talked about how sweet she was and told us they had all been loving on her which made me feel like she was not just put in a corner and forgotten. They also worked with us on the financial end and were very up front about exactly where our money was going. I would take a pet here again in the future (although I hope I wont have to).

Horrible experience. They only had 1 doctor working and they were a little overwhelmed with patients. I don’t know what hospital would only have 1 doctor working on a busy Saturday afternoon. I was literally there all day, waiting in my car in the parking lot. Around noon, I went to a nearby McDonald’s and got lunch because I was starving and wasn’t expecting to be there all day. Expect a very long wait and bring snacks, a phone charger, and a book to read.As with any animal ER, you have to pay for everything out of pocket. It was $110 for them to even examine my dog and another $200 for the X-rays.The care itself seemed to be decent, but the wait time was absolutely ridiculous. I drove from Fuquay to this place because Banfield sent us here and we won’t be returning.

They are literally saviors. We live in east TN but drove to Cary to have surgery on our dog mudges leg. Unfortunately the diagnosis was not what we wanted. Our dog ended up having cancer. The assistant came in and was so supportive of our boy and going through the comfort measures of making sure he was comfy. We decided to go ahead with the surgery to remove his back leg to enhance his comfort. The assistant even gave us tips on having a tripod dog since she had one. That was last October. Since then our dog has gone downhill and he’s in the last month of his life. They have still kept in touch with us and asked how he is doing and what they can do for us. Such a great team and such an amazing office. Update our dog has passed but the vet office sent us a card with everyone that helped us and signed it personally.

Went to pick-up my post-surgical dog. While I was waiting in the parking lot, sitting in my truck, a nurse (?) walks up, says because Im not wearing a mask (by myself, in my car) shes going to drop the medication and instructions on the ground - and proceeds to do so, before I can even react. Cant complain about the actual doctors, but Im sure there are plenty of other veterinary surgeons in the area who employ staff that respect the clients that pay their salary.Id recommend using one of them. I have nine dogs, seven of which are working dogs, and unfortunately, sometimes they require surgery. This had been the go-to place in the past, but not anymore.

I cannot say enough great things about the staff and service at Quartet Vet! Dr. Keller was so patient and thorough at our initial surgery consultation appointment explaining everything about the TPLO surgery, what to expect and answering all our questions. My dog experienced some unexpected complications during surgery due to a stress response from separation anxiety and Dr. Keller and his staff reacted quickly and treated my dog with high priority and attention. We got numerous updates daily from Dr. Keller himself and staff and were encouraged to call and check on our dog at any time. Dont ever use this place if you have a real emergency with your fur baby. Called in advance coming in with a sick cat, arrived, called in again no one answering, plenty of people coming out to get boarders for the day though. Finally asked one of them to see if they were going to take care of my sick cat. She went inside I called she took my information and said someone would be right out. Started calling every 15 mins, no answer. Finally asked a surgeon who just happened to be outside if they were ever going to take my cat. Even he said well I work in the surgery department like he wanted no part of this. 40 mins later after I was calling other area hospitals, someone finally came out and said they wouldnt be able to see us, the doctor was in an emergency and handed us a sticky note to another hospital 30 mins away! Like they didnt know they couldnt help us when we arrived! That hospital they referred us to never took us! We ended up at our own vet who managed to work him in within 15 mins of our arrival. Our cat had a urinary blockage and required immediate treatment. Moral of this story, trust your own vet, dont ever come here. One emergency doctor + non caring staff does not = emergency vet hospital.

We had a great experience with Quartet. The day of surgery was very smooth, and picking up our dog at discharge was easy. The staff were helpful. The process that has been adapted because of COVID was simple, and I still felt like everyone took the time to make sure all of our questions were answered. Obviously, nothing is as good as face-to-face, but I appreciate the way Quartet has adapted to COVID restrictions. Unfortunately we had a few complications post-op, and being able to access the emergency clinic next door over the weekend was extremely valuable. They were able to share our records, which was very convenient. Overall, I would recommend Quartet to anyone needing surgery for their dog. I wish we hadnt been in this situation, but Quartet made things as easy as they could be. My only constructive feedback is that after our initial appointment, it wasnt easy to access the surgeon for any follow-up questions - the staff at the front told me I wouldnt be able to talk to him again prior to the surgery. I realize this is probably out of respect for time constraints. However, having this surgery for our dog was a really big deal for us, so I would have liked to be able to speak to the surgeon one more time prior to the surgery - maybe there could be an option for a follow-up phone visit or additional consult if needed. For us, it would have definitely been worth an additional consult fee.

Quartet Animal Hospital was amazing with my young cat and were able to clip and clean his wound without any sedation and an all over quick process. Everyone we interacted with was kind, understanding, and professional. Emergency services are always a little pricey, but this place was way more affordable than other places such as BluePearl Hopsital which took twice as long and did no work on him at all other than putting an awful cone on him that he destroyed in one night. When we expressed our concerns after our awful treatment at BluePearl, everyone at Quartet understood and made sure to correct them. They made Otis (the cat) comfortable and fed him baby food to distract him while they examined him. A lot of vet places seem to not be able to gently and properly handle cats without sedating them, but Otis is incredibly friendly and easily distract which they figured out quickly. They also communicated with us the entire time, providing updates without us having to reach out for them first.Thank you again to everyone at Quartet who made a very stressful weekend come to a much better ending. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Had to take my pug here because he got bitten by a copperhead on the snout. The staff were all super nice!! I couldn’t be happier with care my sweet pug received! I was also pleasantly surprised with the price! I see that the staff truly cares for every animal who enters the building as their own!

We’ve come here several times for our golden retriever that loves to find things to eat like socks and pens. They are upfront on pricing and honest about when our dog needs to be seen and when it’s a non-emergency. So glad to have this emergency vet nearby. Thanks Quartet!

We were referred to Quartet by our vet and couldnt have asked for a better experience! The entire staff was amazing and they took great care of our dog while he was in their care. They kept us up to date on what was happening and took the time to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommend!

I paid ~ $130 to have my cat checked out. After 3 hours of waiting in the parking lot, vet still didn’t know what was wrong. Had me pay $150 more for “further assessments”. I’m told to wait in the parking lot. 2 hours later and the vet still doesn’t know what’s wrong... she wants to charge me $200 more for X-rays and maybe surgery?! this was a cat TOE that we’re talking about. My cat hurt a TOE, and still nothing could be figured out after $300 and 5 hours of waiting. I’m a college student and don’t have these types of resource at easy will. Vet was not having it though. Ultimately, the experience was a huge waste of time, money, and energy. The ladies at the front desk were super rad and nice though, and they deserve a much better rating than two stars.

Not only does the entire staff really care about your Furbaby, the compassionate care for our babies is 100% top notch. And if you need to ask any questions you forgot, they’re more than happy to help.Thank you to everyone who is as determined as we are to help our Sons cat recover. Is difficult while our Son has been on Deployment to have both his cats well. With Quartet Staff, I’m thinking Wyatt will recover.

I believe most people deserve a second chance. Well, I was wrong when it came to giving Dr. Gallagher at Quartet that second chance. The first time I saw Dr. Gallagher last year was for a consultation to remove some hemangiomas & a hemangiosarcoma (skin cancer) from my Walker Hound. Dropped off my dog on day of surgery and within a few hours I received a call that they started shaving my dog for surgery and cut one of the hemangiomas and he bleed and they felt he was a free bleeder so they aborted surgery. These hemangiomas get nicked at home alot and they bleed. So needless to say, with the consultation, pre surgery workup and surgery prep (not to mention my local vet cost to get a referral) I had already spent over $1000 for NOTHING!!!! (FYI, I took him to someone else the next week for surgery, and all went well!!!!!...NO free bleeding!!!). Now for the second chance....took this same dog to Dr. Gallagher a few weeks ago for lameness in his front legs. Had consultation, went back for fitting of orthopedic splits and pain meds. Meds worked for about a week, but now my dogs seems to be in ALOT more pain. I left a concerned message for Dr. Gallagher regarding pain management on a Wednesday (didnt get a reply), then again on Friday (still NO reply) then again on the following Monday. I understand that his life is probably very BUSY, but I was surprised I didnt get some type of reply from him or his staff. I felt like my dogs pain didnt matter and that once he was DONE with my dog, he was DONE!!!No worries, I have since contacted my local vet for advice and guidance. I WILL NOT use Dr. Gallagher again...but I do highly recommend Dr. Keller at Quartet...unfortunately, he doesnt work on front legs.

My dog Jack injured his leg and it was not getting better. My regular Veterinarian made a referral for him to be seen. Quartet saw Jack the very same day. The wait was LoooooNG, but the staff was GREAT. Jack is requiring surgery and everything was explained to us thoroughly. I feel safe knowing they will be caring for him during this time. I would recommend them highly

They saved my dogs life after complications from a copperhead bite! All of the staff were simply great! They clearly know what they are doing! What else can be said? We were very satisfied with and every interaction. Everybody was willing to take the time to explain and answer our questions.

I love Quartet - my little guy has had chronic pain for a few years and no other vet could figure out what it was. Not only did I get a diagnosis, but I was given a full treatment plan to help him manage the chronic pain (and while this was a bit scary to me at first - I was so afraid of the cost - they are very reasonable!). In a few months Ive seen a huge difference in my pup, and Im just so glad that I know whats wrong with him now! Highly recommend both the emergency vet as well as the rehab - Ive used both and the services were excellent. Also, Erin managed to get my very picky chihuahua to fall in love with her, which is not an easy task :)

My cat had a blockage so I took her to Quartet. They took her in immediately and told me the process they’d be taking to care for her. They always kept me informed and answers my questions and calls while she was there (2 nights) even though they were busy. They didn’t jump to surgery but took a little bit of time to try other measures which eventually worked in clearing the blockage. They were so professional and prompt. I never felt super worried about her being there overnight because the staff had been so kind. I have slightly closer emergency vets to my home but would go back to Quartet if there was ever another issue.
