Our family enlisted the services of Pam Shelor for our high school sophomore son after going through the overwhelming college application experience alone with our older son. Mrs. Shelor helped to map out high school and community college classes to best prepare our son for the college experience. Pamela’s knowledge of local volunteer opportunities is unmatched. Our son was able to apply, interview and obtain two highly coveted volunteer spots in the science and medical fields to gain experience for his chosen career goal. Our son was looking to combine a specific college academic program as well as continue as a college athlete. We were looking for a needle in a haystack, but with Pamela’s expertise she found multiple schools that were a right fit. Moreover, she found freshman admission schools that we otherwise would have overlooked. Because of Pamela’s expertise and guidance our son is heading to his top choice school with freshman nursing admittance, he will be an Honors College student, earned a large merit scholarship and will be a Division 1 athlete. In large part due to Pamelas guidance, our daughter was accepted at 3 of the 4 schools she applied and even received an acceptance and scholarships to a 5th in state school that she did not apply but was recruited from her other applications. She was invited to a special program for freshman at one school and she has also received additional scholarships from the schools and outside of the schools. All of these accolades come from Pamelas persistent work and check in with our daughter and us when needed. She made a process that could have been extremely overwhelming for us all, much less stressful and moreover successful all around. She is worth every $ and more.
