I dont normally write reviews regarding my experience places, but I truly was impressed with the service that I received. Graham is a very nice man who clearly knows his stuff. He was able to immediately diagnose my problem and send it in for repair (both cheaper and quicker than Apple or another third party repair company like UbreakIFix could do) for my MacBook Pro 15inch screen. He was very easy to talk to and his dogs and cats in his house are very friendly. Overall, great experience.

MacMate is the bomb.com! I made the mistake of not upgrading my RAM in my 21.5 inch iMac and once I realized that I needed more, I called Graham up to see if he could perform the service. He said he could, ordered the new RAM for me, and installed it -- all within a weeks timeframe! He actually installed it the same day I dropped it off. I will always bring my computer to him!

Very honest service. I brought my computer there a year ago for an unrepairable hard drive error. Instead of trying to sell me on buying and installing a new hard drive, he recommended I just buy a new computer. Rather than taking the sale and replacing the hard drive (which would have only been a temporary fix), he really looked out for my best interest, even if it cost him money. I would absolutely trust him to work on my computer in the future without worrying about getting ripped off.

I am a fairly new Mac user. My attempt to free up some space on my disk did not go well – I ended up deleting applications that were essential to the operating system. I was able to get an appointment with Graham the next day at his home office. Graham fixed the problem without any issues and upgraded my operating system in about 2-1/2 hours. The time went by quickly as he explained what he was doing at each step and gave me advice for how I can use my Mac Book Pro more efficiently. He explained things to me and made me feel at ease. My laptop is zinging now and Im headed back to Apple to return a computer I didnt need after all. Grahams rate is affordable and worth ever penny. If I could give Graham 10 stars, I certainly would. Definitely recommend!He quoted me and completed the job the same day versus the minimum 2 day- week turnaround time that every other repair shop quoted me. He also was very clear and I didnt feel like he was trying to get over on me some of the previous repair shops I called.I brought my mothers iMac to Graham after the hard drive went bad. I actually called MacMate Consulting while I was in the car about to take the computer to another shop. He was the most helpful and most apparently knowledgeable person I had spoke to after calling around. He gave fair information and explanation of process, I took it to him around 3pm, I saw where he had other iMacs and MacBooks there and tools, that was very comforting. He walked me through the process again, left and I picked it up at 6pm. He helped me set it back up and even carry it back out.

Graham is a consummate professional! Took my 2011 MacBook Pro in last week and he quickly diagnosed the problem. Was heart breaking, the ole girl needed open heart surgery (bad GPU). He sent her off to the Computer Hospital on Friday and I had her back less than a week later good as new. Macmate is FANTASTIC! I have been issues with the processing and speed of my Apple iMac for some time. I found Macmate online and he not only had the issue fixed, he provided new hardware that made my old machine as good as new! More importantly, the entire process was in less than 24 hours!! In fact, I believe my computer may run better than some of the Apple computers actually sold at the Apple store that are brand new! I cant recommend MacMate enough!
