Ive been going here for my state inspections the last few years. They recently inspected my economy car that has never had a check engine light. A few days later I get a check engine light and have the codes read at AutoZone for free. I had a gross evaporative system leak. I replaced the gas cap then reset the codes but it came back. I then replaced the charcoal canister myself for $580.00. The codes came back again. Today I closely inspected the system and found 2 cuts in my fuel tanks vapor recirculating tube. The breaks could have possibly split over time but they appear to be fresh, with punctures, as if someone used electrical side cutters to cut the line partially. The section of plastic line was well supported and was not rubbing on anything. For a shady shop this type of sabotage would be an easy way to drum up some business, after all the code does not trigger immediately and someone would be very likely to return to the last guy that worked on his vehicle for the repair. I repair my own vehicles but had to bring it to someone for this mandatory inspection. It looks like the repair will cost me a new gas tank. Im currently reaching out to the better business bureau and my lawyer.

Just moved to the area and had this place recommended by a friend for an oil change/general auto care. Appointments are very easy to make online, employees are friendly helpful during appointment. Will definitely be returning for my car’s needs in the future.

I am dropping my review down to one star because the car that I was sold through NC Complete Auto Care turned out to be a lemon that had a check engine light the entire time I owned it despite multiple attempts to fix it by the team. While I did appreciate that they tried fixing it, it was never fully fixed and always had the check engine light on. I took my car to a verified Honda mechanic. He said that he had never seen the wiring set up of any Honda look the way that it did, that the parts were not genuine Honda parts, and that if I kept driving it, it might explode on me in high temperatures. The transmission kept skipping (likely a cam shaft issue, but my other mechanic was too afraid to mess with that) and endangering me when I drove it. So, there wasnt complete transparency with the car I bought. I traded it in to Carmax and informed them of the problems, meaning that I lost a lot of money on trade-in but I didnt want to endanger anyone else who wouldve bought the car, and got another car from a verified dealer. It makes me incredibly sad to update this review, but that car almost killed me multiple times and cut off in the middle of an intersection because of an air leak/vacuum issue impacting the engine.

Bill was working the front desk when I came in for my alignment. Right off the bat he was friendly and professional and genuinely kind. We chatted about me being from Alaska and how he wanted to see it someday. Matt (I think that was the mechanics name) was fast and thorough and made sure my car was perfect, they never tried to upsell me or tell me my car needed something it didn’t (looking at you, jiffy lube). They were both just awesome and my family and I will tell everyone who to go see for maintenance work from now on. I’m glad I found somewhere trustworthy, professional, and efficient so quickly after arriving in North Carolina!

I have had the best experiences with their service and the team. Before they did any work, they showed me the problem and it was clear that the dealership had been wrong in their assessment but were planning to grossly over charge me anyway. The team at NC Complete saved me more than $500 overall - on just that visit - and prevented unnecessary repairs. Great service... There ability to diagnose and resolve issue in short order was outstanding! They explained to my wife and I the issue and resolution. Went into great detail to explain importance of what needed to be worked on and how long it would take to complete the repairs! We have taken other vehicles in to them since then and recommend friends too!

Staff had my records up, by the time my appointment came my car was in the garage. Though they were busy, I was done and on my way in a half hour. Im very happy. My husband took my CHR2018 to this auto shop for annual inspection after the other place that we called in, the waiting time was TWO HOURS!! So he decided to find another auto shop. I’m always skeptical about new places so I checked the reviews and I was really happy to see the good reviews. My husband was impressed about how quick and great service this place have. I will come back for my more repairS if My car ever needed one coz I know I’m leaving it with safe hands :)

Moved in from out of state and my car broke down before I had the change to find a mechanic. I stumbled upon them as they were the closest show. NC Complete Auto Care repaired my brakes and rotors. They were nice and helpful, providing various explanations. However, the repair (1) created some humming noises, (2) the car became less responsive. I brought them the car back, and they claimed that it was the transmission. No suggested transmission repairs were suggested; it was along the lines of thats how it is. I went to a dealership, showed me that the brake job had caused both problems, and quickly brought the car to perfect mechanical condition. No transmission problem, no nothing.Although they were nice and friendly, I cannot trust NC Complete Auto Cares work.After seeing the owners comments, I want to add that their 2 year 24k mile warranty is void after other work has been performed on the vehicle. Recall that the owners staff claimed that the car was great; NC Complete Auto Care could not even diagnose the problem that they created, why would I let them repair something they cant even diagnose? I had their mess repaired by professionals. In summary, look at my earlier review: the owner is very nice and makes helpful comments, but at the end of the day his firms work cannot be trusted.

Knowledgeable and friendly. Ive had two vehicles in for alignment. They got me in quickly and were able to show the corrections that were made. Liked them so much, I bought the 3 year alignment special.

I got an appointment. My car was taken in as soon as I got there with the usual friendly greeting. I sat and waited for 15 minutes, then I was on my way. The price was reasonable and service excellent.

They have always taken the time to explain what is wrong and have shown me how exactly they are going to fix it using the car parts they have on display. As a person trying to learn about care, I see this shop as a resource. The prices are very fair for the quality services that they provide.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Waiting area is very clean and comfortable and offers refreshments during your wait, which is not very long at all. Service is very efficient and thorough and the pricing is the most reasonable in the area. I have taken my personal vehicle here for almost a year, and now my son is driving, and he and I both visited the shop for oil changes, so therefore this is our family go to auto care center.

7/16/18 timing belt kit replacement was performed. Shortly after the replacement of the timing belt kit my vehicle’s check engine light came on. For my vehicle P0014 indicates that Bank 1 Exhaust Camshaft Position timing was advanced beyond limits for predetermined period of time. 8/6/18 the timing belt’s position was checked. I would have felt more at easy if the timing belt would have been replaced to rule out defects with the belt. All seemed well, 8/25/ 18 check engine light appeared code read P0014. I took the vehicle yesterday as scheduled to have a diagnostic test performed. As I stated the check engine light reappeared Aug 25 and remained on yesterday Aug 29. Shortly after I dropped the vehicle off for the scheduled diagnostic test, I received a call from Mike stating that the diagnostic test could not be performed due to the check engine light not being on when the vehicle was driven into the auto shop. It is frustrating, for I am having problems with the timing belt or something related to the timing belt, yet I took the vehicle to NC Complete Auto Care for what I considered a simply fix for an experienced mechanic. I edited my review to add 9/4/18 the check engine light has reappeared. This has been occuring for over a month, with me being informed by NC Complete Auto Care that there is nothing they can do to identify the issue if the check engine light goes out before the diagnostic test can be performed. What annoys me is the mechanic has not replaced the timing belt to rule it out as the issue. It could have been new, yet damaged. The End Results: The check engine light code P0014 was due to the cam timing being set incorrectly by NC Complete Auto Care’s mechanic. 1/7/2019 we appeared in court regarding the damage to my vehicle. The Judge ruled in my favor. I went to another auto shop and their mechanic did the job correctly. I do not recommend NC Complete Auto Care.

NC Complete Auto Care has honest mechanics. They discovered a really major discrepancy in another mechanic that I was going to in North Raleigh. They fixed my vehicle up, and the brakes were really bad. When I got there they pointed out how bad of a job was done to my car so NC Complete Auto Care mechanic fixed it, and along with that, they fixed my moms vehicle, as well. I trust them with any of my vehicles, and they are doing a great job.

I have been going to the same locally owned auto service business for 20 years, but they have now gotten so big that they lost personal touch with their customers. I really appreciate the customer interaction with NC Complete Auto Care.

Very great experience. Called on day to see if I could get an oil change appointment for the next day. The gentleman told me not to worry about an appointment just come on in. I went the next day expecting to wait forever. When I got there I was greeted and told they would get me in. I sat down with my son had some of their coffee and a snack and before I could get halfway through my coffee, they called my name and said we are done sir. WOW!!!! You Guys might remember me when I say left signal light problem u guys change the light while I came there to do my inspection.. you guys told me it was in accident, so some of the wire and parts are missing and another reason you guys told me was short circuit. But you know what I bought left signal bulb I put it my self it work perfect...one more thing The bulb u guys put in my car I pulled it out and take that to the bulb place where I bought new bulb those people laugh at you guys for doing this mistake.. plz don’t do this to other people. Thanksxxxxx

Mike and the crew are always friendly. Prices are fair, and most importantly they are trustworthy. I have been told work that I thought needed to be fixed was either not necessary, or the problem was caused by a different, less expensive, issue multiple times.

Awesome place!! If youre looking for an honest mechanic who wont take advantage of you, this is the place to go. I went in thinking Id need to replace my breaks. They took me and showed me that my breaks were fine, instead of just charging me 300 bucks to replace perfectly fine breaks. Ill definitely be coming back again!

I had several different problem with a used car that I just bought. My fault I should have bought a newer car. They were very willing to take the time to figure out what all the issues were and make sure that the job was done correctly without costing an arm and a leg. I would recommend this shop.

I brought my car here to have my suspension repaired. They quickly diagnosed the problem and even showed me the broken part and explained how it should be working. They were honest with me and did not attempt to oversell me. They gave me a great deal on tires too. Waiting room was comfortable and has refreshments and a computer to use.

This place has been so great to me over the years. They never try to up sell and are fair priced and are always quick to help. I came in thinking I needed a new tire because I had a leak and they instead plugged the leak and didn’t charge me. They are always quick to do an oil change.

This business got my vehicle back to me very quickly. They drove me to and from my apartment while my vehicle was being serviced

It is a rip off company. I needed a condenser, they replaced it for $800 and within a weekit had to be replaced. Two years later I needed a new one for $800 again. Apparently there is a lifetime warranty on it but was never told to me.Donot go there for any serious problems with your car.

They did a few jobs for me did good except what I had the ask the tech to check my battery told me was a sealed battery couple days later I know for a fact it wasnt but it was raining for the air my tires didnt inspection and I left and then my battery died so I had to go to a Riley but Ill use them again if I have to not the best experience
