AC compressor stopped running. Called Air Secure at 4:30pm yesterday and by 11am today system back up and running. Very courteous and professional. Its an old system, I know its coming close to needing to be replaced, but Matt first tried to fix it before trying to sell me anything. Luckily it was just an old capacitor. He had the parts in his truck. When it finally goes I will definitely give them a call. Fast, courteous, professional, and no hard sell. Thanks.

My husband and I purchased an older home where the previous owners had done some DYI ductwork under an addition that was not up to code. We knew this but the rest of the house IS up to code as per the home inspection we paid for and seeing it with our own eyes. One day the HVAC stopped blowing cold air downstairs. Air Secure came out, spent 5-10 minutes tops under the house. The guy came out and said we were looking at an entire duct work overhaul, he wasnt sure how to proceed, and he would have to talk to the owner and put together some numbers for us for the cost. Okay. We called another company for a second opinion and The guy diagnosed and repaired the problem within an hour. All it was was a stuck damper motor. Air Secure on the other hand ghosted us and never got back to us with those numbers. The guy recommended an entire replacement without even looking at the entire duct work. My guess is after seeing the addition he didnt even bother to look or try. Oh well. Air secures loss, another companies gain.

I came home late from a weekend trip to a warm home and found my compressor on my unit wasnt running. After a terrible nights sleep, I called Air Secure and Will was at my home that morning. He quickly identified the problem, replaced the broken capacitor and got my system running before the hot afternoon sun. Swift, professional and reasonably priced.

Will went into detail about the issues with my AC unit and offered advice on how to prevent problems in the future. Although the unit is fairly old and not very well maintained, Will was able to provide a simple and cheap solution that could prolong the life of the unit for a few more years.

I called yesterday and they came out today as I was having some issues with my heat last week during a cold spell. My tech, Will Smith arrived on time, was very polite, and professional. He looked around, checked the thermostat, ducts and HVAC system in the basement. He recommended I get a new filter on amazon but basically said the problem seemed to resolve itself. He said he was in the area and wasnt going to charge me but recommended I get on a service plan later in the spring. Honesty goes a long way in my book considering I know completely f-all about HVAC and could have been completely taken advantage of in this instance. Im going to get signed up with a service plan knowing Im with folks I can trust.

Will was great! Fit me into his schedule during the hot weather a few weeks ago after I missed his call to check out our AC. Was courteous and professional. He provided good advice on how to maintain the unit and quickly fixed our problem.

I called the office and was told a technician would call me shortly. I received a phone call in less than 5 minutes from Will to confirm my address and informing me that he would be right over, because he had some time between appointments. Called about A/C problem. Came within 24 hours and at the time that was promised. Fixed and checked whole system within 1 hour. Will was helpful, explained situation, was very courteous and honest. Honestly cant recommend Will at Air Secure. 2 months ago, we had issues with our Central A/C Unit. Our unit had leaked out freon and was non-functional.When Will came over, he simply checked the freon level(2lbs low), re-charged the freon, charged us $278 for it, and left - about 10 minutes total. I was concerned about the leak, and asked him if we should test for it, and he said no, it didnt meet his requirements to warrant checking for leaks. This would have been fine if it fixed the issue, but the freon just leaked right out again. The whole job felt rushed.Starting ~2 weeks after Will left, the A/C was losing cooling ability and running almost 24/7(and not cooling) - which left us with a huge bill the following month. We called another company ~1 month after Will came, and they promptly came out, identified, and fixed the issue - its been nearly a month since the 2nd fix and the A/C is working flawlessly. The other technician came in, verified the unit was leaking(lost a little over 1lb), thoroughly inspected/tested for leaks, sealed the leak and recharged with 1lb of freon, for $300 and its worked fantastic since then. He was there for about 45 minutes and was pleasant to work with, and thorough with his work.I would love to give a better review for Will, but after such a drastic difference between the services I feel Ive unnecessarily wasted my money. I would look elsewhere for services.

My system was installed by AirSecure and I called for service a few times and finally someone called me back. When I told him I cannot hear him on the cell, he yelled at me on the phone and then hang up. Today is 4/2/2020.

My wife and I called Air Secure twice, once on Saturday and once on the following Tuesday. Both times we were told a technician would call us back and did not receive a call either time. We will be seeking help from another company that values us and our time.

I am telling you, you should work with this company without any hesitation or doubt. Will is very knowledgeable, punctual and a true gentlemen. They came to my place for the yearly maintenance, they checked each and every electrical parts (yes Im not kidding) made sure everything is working. I called and 30 minutes later they were able to make it out to check on the system. Friendly service and topped off my refrigerant. I was all set to go in under an hour. They also made some recommendations for work that I could take care of myself. Great service experience.

Went to work and resolved the issue quickly and checked and double checked to make sure everything was working as expected. He did an AWESOME job and was very professional. I have used Air Secure twice since 2012 on two different units. The first time was when I had a blown electrical motor in my air handler. They came out the same day i called and replaced the motor for a very reasonable price. Our heating system shut off on a Saturday night. We called Will on a Sunday morning and he offered to come take a look the next morning.He took time to listen to what happened and went up to the attic to check out the unit. After a brief look, he explained that the shut-down was all because the pipe was frozen (Jan 2018, a couple really cold weeks below 30s).And he was very upfront and honest, explained that with the cold weather outside, the best way to deal with it is to wait till it warms up outside and then the pipe will thaw.We did not get charged for his diagnosis visit and he was kind enough to explain a few ways we could do by ourselves.We will definitely call him again if we need future service.

Since I wasnt actually prepared for same day availability, I requested an appointment the following day (today) and they accommodated my request for a morning appointment. They gave me one hour window of when they would show up, and they actually showed up in that time! I love that, because I have a busy work schedule and cant spend all day sitting at the house. I could not be happier with the service I received from Air Secure. My problem was initially intermittent and they made several trips out when it would, of course, work just fine, and they didnt charge me. When my problem suddenly became constant and the house temps were in the 50s, I made a frantic call one evening and they squeezed me in the next day. They diagnosed the problem, were honest about the possible complications, and worked aggressively to find my part. (They were very concerned the issue be resolved quickly as I was having surgery in a couple days.) A couple hours later, they were again at my house, installed the part (with no complications), and I had heat again. Im not sure who was happier! The repair cost was very reasonable, particularly considering the unpaid calls and the urgent nature of this one. I HIGHLY recommend this local, family owned company.

Air Secure replaced the air conditioner at one of my storefronts on Cary Parkway. They quickly and correctly diagnosed the unit with a bad compressor. They gave me a reasonable quote and drew up an estimate and communicated the news to the landlord who manages hundreds of commercial locations. They too liked the quote and my new Goodman Air Conditioner installed in no time. There was a small separate issue with the air handler which they took care of for me and surprised me by replacing my 20yr old thermostat with a new digital thermostat that does everything but make coffee. The new A/C we selected has an excellent warranty and has been quietly humming along 2 seasons now including the very hot summer of 2012. I am very happy.

Disappointed with my service from Air Secure. Although we did get a decent price, I was promise a repair to be done by a specific date and the job was not done by the date promised. Also, I was asked to come to my house because the repair was almost done and once I got there, the guys working had another 2 hours of work before my AC was turned back on. When I came back I was supposed to meet the owner (who knew I was on my way there), he was leaving the neighborhood to meet with another client as I was pulling in. So I had to sit in the heat with my baby waiting of the air to be turned back on and for the owner to come back to discuss the repair.

We called Air Secure to service our business location. Both Richie and Will were out to our location and took care of both of our A/C units, checked and cleaned our ducts and were fast, efficient and fair. They provided us with great customer service. We will continue to use Air Secure for all of our HVAC needs.

This weekend we had snow and ice and temps near zero. I realized about midnight on Saturday that our furnace was not working. I called many HVAC companies only to be told that the soonest they could come would be Monday or Tuesday. I called Will on Sunday morning. He answered the phone directly. I didnt have to call a dispatcher or leave a message. Instead of telling me that it would be a day or so before he could come out, he offered to help my husband diagnose the problem over the phone. He did not come on-time.One hour delayed.He only changed capacitor but he charged $227. Toooo expensive not reasonable price. In website they were advertised warranty for workmanship but it was hard to get warranty from them. I am not satisfied what I have paid to them for repaired work.

After having a local Raleigh area HVAC company try to scam me into unneeded $1000s of repairs, Will from Air Secure came by and within 5min diagnosed a simple solution that took only 5 more minutes to fix. When I learned I had to replace my HVAC system on Tuesday, Air Secure was able to schedule the installation of a new system on Thursday, which left me without anything but a box fan for the next two nights during one of the hottest weeks of the summer so far. Within 2 hours of me signing the paperwork, Richie and Carlos were back at my house with two window unit air conditioners, which they installed on both floors of my house. After a couple of hours, the temperature in the house was a cool 74 degrees. That is what I call above and beyond good service. I seriously doubt many other (if any) HVAC companies provide that level of service.The guys were very friendly, efficient, and informative. They made a somewhat painful and expensive experience completely bearable and I would recommend them to anyone.

Air Secure is everything that is right with HVAC. I have been taken for a ride several times in the past but these guys are the real deal. I just had one of the owners come to my house at 9pm to take care of my A/C unit and he charged me nothing. I had to force money on him. A+ in my books.

My HVAC randomly stopped working. I flipped the breaker off & on, no change. I contacted Air Secure on the afternoon of 8/17/17. I didnt get an answer when I called so I left a voicemail explaining the issue & my info. Within 30 mins, Will Smith called me back. He couldnt make it over as he was already booked for the day but he said he could do 9-10 the next day (today). He showed up on time. He even noticed my shoes off & removed his as I dont allow shoes on the carpet. I didnt have to ask him to remove his shoes. I thought it was very thoughtful of him to do that. Most people wouldnt have paid attention to that. We proceeded upstairs to the thermostat. He checked the wiring & did some troubleshooting. He said the wiring is getting power & proceeded to the attic. He opened the unit & within 5 mins, he had it working!! I was happy & shocked that it was simple! He explained what the issue was & what he did. He explained it in laymans terms. This was my first experience with Will & Air Secure. As the saying goes, first impressions go a long way. I will be using Air Secure for any HVAC needs that I may have in the future. If you are having issues with your HVAC, call Will. Hes an honest & dependable guy!!

UPDATE:Recently my old Trane system (not bought or installed by Air Secure) caused me more grief (most likely a coolant leak). Air Secure suggested a full system replacement since we attempted the cheaper sealant option but it didnt keep - which I knew was a possibility. I decided to get a few quotes from 2 other companies in the area who have great reviews on here. One company suggested a system that might possibly be too big for my house and included pricier options like a Wi-Fi thermostat with color LCD screen. They offered to save money by using our existing flexible duct system. The second company suggested to repair the option and really spent time narrowing down the leak. For some reason the replacement part is just incredibly expensive (over $2600).The problem is that we have no guarantee if this fix would have fixed our air flow issue and if the system would ever break again. We were also hoping to go to a zone system so I imagine wed have to add $2000 for that as well.Air Secure offered a system that was a half ton larger than what we were using, a zoned system and all new flexible duct lines. Their charge was $1500 - $2500 cheaper than the company who gave us a new system quote (that company offered two different tonnage systems). We went with Air Secure and its been a few months since the work finished. Our house has never felt so comfortable. Even in the extremely hot days - the house has been very pleasant. Our power bills have been much lower, too! An added bonus, the duct work in my attic is much more organized than before. The duct work used to just sit on the floor and I had to climb over it. Now, navigating the attic is much easier.Thank you for your help and giving us a very reasonable price!PREVIOUS REVIEW:A solid company who provided prompt, quality service. They arrived during the hour window they stated on two visits and were able to fit us in the afternoon after we called in the morning. Unfortunately, the cost for parts and labor was a lot higher than the typical repair, so they did what they could to reduce the cost making it a bit more manageable. I found the father/son team to be honest and courteous. They even wore shoe covers as they went through the house. It has been a few weeks since the repair and everything seems to be running smooth. Id highly recommend them to others.
