I had a pleasant experience with American Arborists. I was paranoid that one of my favorite trees was dying. They came out and assured me that while the leaves were sparse, it only needed some fertilization. All of the appointments made were within a couple days to a week of the time I set it, which was great.The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because for the first appointment, I was told they would arrive between 8 and 10 am. Unfortunately no one arrived until 11. This wouldnt have been a very big deal except that I was not told that they would be late until I called at 10:30. On a couple occasions, I just did not feel very well communicated with.But overall, the service was done well and now I feel confident my trees will be healthy.

I’d like to write something long and brilliant about American Arborists here but my time is tight and my skills are lacking so I’ll just say this:I had a huge tree in the front yard that was splitting apart at the seams. I had used a few different companies over the years but it was only for trimming and shaping. I was never happy, they always changed the appointments and always changed the price once they started. So I called AA for a quote and that was the correct select, they came out and gave a good price. How good? Their quote to take down the whole tree was less than other companies quoted to trim it. We were off to a good start.On the day of the appointment only two guys showed up. I thought, only two guys for that tree? Where’s the rest of them? I pictured a brigade of chainsaw slinging lumberjacks swarming all over the yard. Where’s the bucket lift and the ladders and the grappling hooks? Nowhere… just two guys.Pablo had a chainsaw and Chris was the rope man. They wanted to get it done, so I got out of the way.I went to eat breakfast and settled in for what I thought would be a long day. I was eating a banana when I heard a Boom ! The house shook. I looked out the window and saw the top branches of the tree falling all over the yard. I got worried. Were they going to hit the house or break the fence? I just paced back and forth and watched it all go buzz buzz- chop chop- rope pull- boom— boom- BOOM !And just like that it stopped, in a little over an hour that giant tree that had been towering over the house for fifty + years was filleted, gutted and lying all over the yard in pieces. It was no joke. Those two were the real deal, efficient, fast, and professional. I now have a new appreciation for AA, the people they employ and the job they do. I decided, from now on nobody but AA touches the trees in my yard.So, a tip of the hat and a bow at the waist to Team Four: Pablo and Chris, the tree-ninja tag team who dropped that beast of a tree in record time and made all the pain go away.Much respect and maximum props to you guys.
