I am new to the area so I decided to call around my neighbor goes to this doctor and I wanted to come in as well, I made an appointment and I was greeted by the front office. They were so kind in explaining all the paperwork when I asked them questions. The dentist is so kind and takes her time! I will be back and recommend all to come.

I went in for teeth whitening and I absolutely love the office staff! Jennifer greeted me right away with a smile and made me feel at ease. Amanda happily answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. Jill did my whitening and she was very friendly and thorough. She made sure I was comfortable for the length of the procedure and that I got the outcome I was looking for. I am very pleased to say that I am now the proud owner of some pearly whites! Thank you Absolute Dental! I will definitely be back when I need a touch-up!

My daughter Natasha was seen with Jill and she loved her! Jill was able to do her cleaning and sealants the same day! Which made things much easier for me. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you for making my daughter feel comfortable in the chair.

I equate the experience of going to absolute dental like eating at the cheapest hotel buffet. The lowest of low end professionalism from the staff and food!They ABSOLUTELY do not answer the phone nor do they return phone calls. As of this writing, i have been calling and waiting for a call back for 2weeks nowThey ABSOLUTELY do not make you feel like they know what they are doing as they only want to do whats best monetarily for themThey ABSOLUTELY don’t care as they change and cancel appointments on a whim with no rhyme or reasonYou should ABSOLUTELY weigh your options before you go down their third world practice of dentistry

Made appointment over 2 weeks ago. My partials are killing me and need adjustments. I get a call today saying they incorrectly scheduled the appt whatever that means and they didnt know what it meant. This is just a great way to treat someone in pain. Will never use them again

Management that refuses to take responsibility for their actions. My partner has left 3 voice-mails for the manager. They do not call back. They over charged her for x-rays of one tooth and are refusing to give her money back, or provide the actual service she paid for.Long story short, they charged her the price of a full set of x-rays, then only xrayd one tooth. When we tried to bring it to their attention, they ignored us.Essentially this location is misleading the public. Be careful.

I was treated incredibly poorly by multiple staff members here. I paid $39 dollars for a FULL exam and COMPLETE x-rays. They took 2 x-rays of a single tooth and didnt bother explaining my situation with my insurance. Front staff and the technician were rude and treated me like I was an inconvenience to them even though I waited 3 months for this appointment. Drive the extra 15 minutes to the other location and be treated like a human being

The Absolute Dental on Topsy lane in Carson City is like no other Absolute Dental around. Their offices are clean, professional & inviting. Their staff is efficient, orderly and sincere. I felt very safe with their COVID protocols.My dental hygienist was very friendly and left my mouth feeling clean, fresh and bright. My Dr. was knowledgeable and did an impeccable job with my front tooth filling that had fallen out. The office manager is what really made the experience for me though. She recognized the struggle I was having financially and made it possible for me to afford one of the three suggested fillings for that appointment date. I cant say enough about the caring and knowledgeable staff at Absolute Dental Topsy lane! I left with the hole in my tooth repaired and my faith in humanity restored!

Doctor here is very rude and talks down to you. Left feeling upset by the way I was treated by the dentist here two times already. Front desk staff is disorganized and looses paper work or doesnt give you the correct paper work need to be filled out. I do not recommend this location especially if you have anxiety about the dentist.

I had dentures made there and my canine teeth are 2 different sizes and my upper and lower teeth doesnt sit right and my lower dentures make my lower lip stick way out and my hole set is too big and they have done nothing to make it right. I went to another dentist in California and he said that my set needs to be redone that they did a horrible job and because of this I havent had any lower teeth at all since they made them because they dont fit right. And this really affects my self esteem.

My teeth hurt me constantly and I usually avoid the dentist as much as possible but this office changed that for me. They were so welcoming when I first came in and explained all my options so I could choose the best one for me. I dont have to watch what I eat in fear of a toothache anymore!

My last visit I set up an appointment for July 1st at 10am. I showed up and the office is closed. Given no notification that they would be closed. Google maps says they are open. I had to take time off work to get an appointment. You guys lost a customer. Thanks for the courtesy

This place is great. Came in for an extraction knowing I needed other work. They were able to prepare an affordable treatment plan, and worked with me to get it finished up within a very short time. DDS Albander is very good at what she does and pleasant to deal with. Richard, Jr and the front desk staff are all extremely competent and accommodating. I am thankful for them all

Absolute Dental is by far the best! Despite having to drive so far, it is definitely worth it! They keep my teeth looking great!! The best part is the staff! One gentleman in particular, David. Goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is well taken care of and always maintains a positive attitude! You will not find the phenomenal service that David provides anywhere else!!

Stay Away! Are these other reviews fake. Ive had two dealings with absolute dental and they are horrible. From customer service to dental practice. There are a couple nice people in their offices, but far and few. They were so bad that I tried calling corporate and sat on hold for over 30 min. Finally giving call back number and they still never called. I will never go there again. Try the one in Fernley...I forgot there name but A+ service

I have to admit that we havent been diligent with going to the dentist, but hey our teeth werent hurting until.......These guys were the best dental experience ever. Thoughtful to the fact that we drive for 3 hours to see them by scheduling more time to do more work, actually asking me if there are any concerns regarding my chronic illness, being respsive to a temporary crown falling out . Definitely the place to go!

Had been searching around Reno for a good dental office and was referred to Absolute Dental. I was a little hesitant at first due to the fact that it was in Carson City, however upon visiting I was shocked at how incredible this place is. The staff is wonderful. Very courteous, helpful, and attentive of the patients needs. One staff member especially, David, is a very kind young man. Not only is he great at doing his job, but he goes above and beyond for patients, making sure to make them feel welcome, not just surface level things you get from people who want to get you in and out of their offices as soon as possible. If you’re in need of dental work, this is your go to place.

All the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Alabander explained all my options and they helped me figure out the best option for me. I am very happy with my experience and recomend this office to everyone.

I have Liberty Dental through Medicaid, when i called to make an appointment they got my Medicaid ID number and confirmed they would cover a tooth extraction. Soonest they could get me in was a month and a half later which i was expecting, all the while in excruciating pain counting down the days till Im not in pain. The day came and Im at the appointment, they say their surgeon is booked for extractions today but i could come back next week, okay fine whats another week of pain, at least its going to be taken care of right. Mind you they got my insurance card first thing and I asked 2 separate times during the consultation if A. The extraction is covered under my insurance and B. If the anesthesia is covered under my insurance. So on the way home i get a call from the Carson office saying my appointment for the following week would be cancelled because their surgeon doesnt cover extractions with my insurance. Oh but it doesnt end there, then they gave me a number for an office they say that does cover it and the number is disconnected and the practice is closed. So i proceed to call my insurance and tell them what happened and they said theres no reason they shouldnt have covered it or at minimum tell me on the forefront they couldnt so i would have had this entire month waiting to find another office that can. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU HAVE MEDICAID.

Terrible service, had to wait over a month for them to fix my crown, and they kept cancelling my appointment without any notice, so after driving and seeing that it was closed I gave a call a few days later and get told that I had to reschedule without even being given any notice. Terrible service and they over charge for everything stay away!

Best Dental office Ive ever been to!

Staff was amazing!! Very kind and informative!! They have a smile saver plan if you cant afford insurance that saved me a couple thousand dollars!! Junior did amazing on the X-rays, Connie was very informative on procedures and costs and how to save money, and the Doctor on point!! Couldnt be more stoked and will be coming back for the rest of my treatments!

In November I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I was having a lot of issues with my teeth mainly infections they all had to come out, so dentures where the only option and it had to be done before my Chemo.The dentist decided to go the conventional wayWith several fittings and letting my gums heal completely before getting my dentures, they included me in every decision that was made and always made me feel comfortable...As far as the girls at the front desk, they always had a smile on there face and made me feel like part of there family.I have never seen anyone be treated badly in that office.I would definitely recommend them.

Gerardo was amazing. I had him twice so far and each time he was kind and funny, always doing what had to be done, and never once hurt me. He was gentle and cooperated with the dentist very nicely, always prepared. He deserves a raise. :)

Id give them a zero if I could. I had a tooth fall apart at breakfast and they wasted my entire day. I asked if they could get me in that day and they said yes. My appt was at 1pm, they did x-rays, and then said they close in 20 minutes. The worst part was the price for a crown- $2300. Ive never paid that much for a crown. But wait, if you buy a protection plan for $99, the price drops to $1150. What? Ive never heard of that in a professional office. The three people who talked to me while in the chair all said were doing a crown, but it could turn into a root canal. That made me nervous, no dentist has said that to me before. A crown is a crown. There is nothing about this office or its conduct that gave me any confidence.

The office manager was great, and Dr. Albander was fantastic! She was trustworthy and kind, I had a great experience.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Dr. Britting was awesome, he was understanding about my preexisting conditions explained my treatment plan In detail and we set up the best options for me long term along with being cost conscious for me. Overall I would highly recommend absolute dental.

My first experience here was as good as it could be. Doctor was very informative and has a plan right away ready I felt confident and I am fearful usually at the dentist. I avoid going as my condition is now proving. I am hoping this office is the one to beautify my smile!

Staff was kind and courteous. They took the time to explain procedures and they always seem to care about their patients well being. Started with my husband as a patient, but now it will be my family dentist for my kids and myself as well.

Absolute dental provided me with a great experience. I have daily seizures brought on by my anxiety, dentists are one of my biggest problems to throw me into a seizure. The dentist here went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He offered to spend extra time on our next appointment to get me used to the sounds and smells of the procedure before he does any work to prevent me having a seizure. I highly recommend this dentist, they are awesome!

Abysmal experience !!! I needed dentures and had no experience with this as these would be my first. Unfortunately, I assumed that the dental “professionals” at Absolute Dental would give me the information I needed about materials, durability, fit, warranty and cost so I could choose the best product for me. Instead, they side-stepped my questions and pushed me through their fitting process which was terrible. Too late, I learned that the ONLY product they sell is the cheapest of the cheap models. Like flip-flops at Walmart, their dentures only come in three sizes and three colors. There is no customization available. The dentures I received were too big for my mouth, and the fitting process was a joke. For example, when I received the dentures and raised the issue that biting down on one side of my mouth made the dentures pop loose on the other side, their solution was that I should just chew on both sides simultaneously. They even admitted that the mold for the first set they gave me had melted on the way to the lab, but they made dentures out of that mold anyway, and tried to pawn them off on me. When I persisted in trying to get a good product and fit, they began treating me like I was the problem.There is no transparency there, and no information about the limitations of the denture product they sell. This means the patient can’t make an informed choice about what they’re buying. They are dishonest and have no interest in high quality care. They are a medical practice that operates more like a used car dealership. If you need dentures, absolutely don’t choose Absolute Dental.

Have to get the same tooth again fixed for the 3rd time! I am sick and tired of paying 700$ for them to fix the same tooth cause they keep messing it up the last time and blaming it on the last doctor! How unprofessional. On top to that they lost my last payment off 300$ from a year ago so they sent to another bill and admitted they lost my account and bill, yet I still in there eyes owe them money! Despite all there mistakes they made, there is no patient morality or service.Have found a different dentist and glad I did!

I called yesterday morning for an Emergency tooth extraction, couldnt eat for 1 1/2 days and they scheduled me the next day, thats the only reason they got the 2/5 and not 0/5. So Im in serious pain, jaw , headaches, ect.. I come in at 1:45 for my 2:00 pm appointment and before I started filling out paperwork I was asked what I was here for.. Excuse me? An Emergency extraction. They told me sorry theyre dentist called in sick today, the lady in charge was standing over the shoulder of the front desk lady and told me they called everyone this morning around 10:30am. I had no missed calls, no voicemail, no text or email. I was not informed that they were cancelling my appointment, and they had referred their other patients to absolute dental on the other side of town which was booked. I was supposed to be leaving town in 3 days for the holidays and now Im not able to get any appointment until January 2017.!! Its December 21st and I cant eat right now. Thank you absolute dental for the worst dental experience of my life. That was very unprofessional to not let someone know your cancelling their EMERGENCY appointment. Especially under these circumstances. So this was my experience with absolute dental. I hope you all take precautionary measures before trusting absolute dental to stick to their word, because I didnt and now Im stuck NOT eating this Christmas. Thanks again absolute dental😀

My last appointment in January they told me my cleaning would be $97 then when I get here they tell me it will be $237, they charged me the $97 because I told them thats what I was told, then they dont even do the whole cleaning, they just scrapped my teeth with the metal toothpick thing.

Service was incredibly slow. 2 hours for fillings. They continuously attempted to pressure me into purchasing a crown. Even after I said I can not afford it, they came back 2 times with lower offers and made me feel uncomfortable when I said no. During the procedure, Dr. K stopped in the middle of drilling for 15minutes while he attending to other patients, leaving me in discomfort in the chair. The numbing medicine was wearing off towards the end of the process and without warning, the doc stuck me with the numbing needle. Not really painful, just unexpected. The work performed was not of good quality. The outside one tooth is rough and my bite is off. Suppose to see another dentist later in the week to fix it. Do yourself a favor, pay a few extra bucks to go to a veteran dentist.

Absolute dental has such a great staff they are so friendly and caring.I had great service when I went there . They seemed to be very experienced and good at what they do . I would definately recommend going to absolute dental for any or you dental work!

Staffs are very rude . They over charged me which it was unethical. Did fight for 4 months to get over amount refund . Do not talk about doctors . Really ,they have to go to better institution to gain knowledge and did filling 3 tooth wrongly . They are inexperienced doctors .

Did not like this dentist at all. One of the women at the front desk had a very rude tone when she told me i had to have them set as my primary dentist or my insurance wouldnt pay.My apt was at 11. I got here around 1030. I didnt get pulled back til 1130 the gentleman who took my xrays was sweet and kind and patient but I waited another 20 or so minutes back here before the xrays even began.When the dentist finally came back to see me, we were discussing my options and she even said flat out she didnt have time to do my extraction so she was sending me to an oral surgeon.She spent maybe a whole of 10 minutes with me and only looked at my teeth through the xrays.Now, Ive been sitting here for another 20 minutes waiting on them to go over my treatment plan.I spent almpst 2 hours at this denist and spent maybe 20 minutes of it actually being seen or treated.She has now finally come in to do my treatment plan. When the dentist was in here I said i wanted to try to apply for care credit. I could have been doing that while i waited.I only came to this dentist because they were the only one who accepted my insurance and had an appoinmtnet before May. I live in Reno. This was not worth the drive.I do not want to come back at all. They clearly have overbooked their staff which thus means they cant spend as much on patient care as they should.Edit 4/4/18Im changing this to 1 star but if i could rate 0 I would.I just had my crown on an unrelated tooth fall off while I was eating. I called to figure out if someone can fix it.First off no one will fix another dentists work so that sucks. But, when i called, they sat there and said on the xrays, it wasnt even loose.I call bull***t!!! If it wasnt loose it wouldnt just pop off!!!! Hell, if she had even done a proper exam, she may have caught it!!!!Stupid, useless, incompetent practice!!!! If your insurance is accepted else where, do not go here!!!!!

This was my first visit EVER to a dentist. Everyone was super nice and helpful with my first experience. Kivin, one of the assistants of Dr. B was extremely nice. She right away started a conversation with me to take my minds off of things. Both Kivin and Dr. B were very informative to my mom and I. They took X-rays and gave my teeth a cleaning. I felt comfortable with everything. I started to laugh at one point because of Kivin hitting Dr. B on accident. Dr. B right away made me laugh with jokes and whatnot. We will definitely return back to this wonderful, non-scary, helpful place. 👏👏👏

Stop do not enter until they get rid of front office woman. I have been into the office with the new office manager on 3 occsions and all 3 occasions I have found her to be offensive and combative. Its unfortunate because the actual dental assistant and dentists have been competant and nice! I will not be going back to this location to finish my crown procedure. My son and I have been going to this location for several years, we have spent well over10,000.00 dollars here, when Debbie ran the office, she always took care of us. Todday I was accused of stealing (her care credit website wouldnt let her in to make a payment, I said I would settle up later) and she wanted to call the police on me!... Incompetent and treat you like garbage if youre on Medicaid. First they do an x-ray and advise I pull my front tooth before it falls out. Then the receptionist comes in the back like a car salesman and tells me the work will cost over $5,000 when they know Im on Medicaid. So I leave and go to Healthy Smiles in Yerington. Turns out the tooth just had a calculus buildup, which they removed for free in under 10 seconds and to this day that unsavable tooth looks good as new. Absolute Dental is a bad joke.
