Unfortunately I have to give at least one star to post this, which is not deserved at all! We walk in the door an hour before they close and the girl rolls her eyes as she looks at the clock. She was very rude and told us to look at the phones by ourselves. Not helpful at all. Then the girl was helping someone else and then another worker equally as rude asked what we wanted. Finally I just said we are leaving. They truly did not care. Worst customer service ever! Do not go to Carroll US Cellular! This occurred at 8/27/21 at 5 pm.

Customer service here is amazing. They arent great face to face but I think thats fear of Covid and practice. You can tell they try, and on the phone they are really good. It might be good to remind some of them that they do have to deal with people if they work in the store - it can be off putting to have them be open but horrible about in person contacts.

Since Western Iowa Networks took over East Mills School District from another ISP the fiber connection has been down for days. There is no or just minimal communication with the network admin on site. Splicing and other maintenance is done in the middle of the day.

I’m a new customer and looked to get internet where I live, I was told it was going to be 2 weeks before someone could come up and look at my internet and although I wasn’t thrilled about the idea I just let it go and said “yeah, it will be fine!” The paper work was filled and the date was set for them to come set up the internet and phone (which I have to pay the set up fee and monthly payments for the phone which I’m not going to use), I get a call a few days later saying they are trying to set a time up for me so the technicians can set up the box. I said the date was already set and they told me I would have to wait another week before someone could come hook us up. Instead of waiting 2 weeks like what was discussed, I am now waiting almost a month for internet. I’m very unhappy with the service so far and It all happened after I signed the paperwork. My partner and I called to have the issue fixed and they told us it took too long for the paperwork to get through and that’s why we got bumped back. They also said “ you can either deal with the extended time, or you can shop around but we offer better speeds and hope you don’t chose another company.” They know they have a monopoly in the area I live in and they are dangling it above our heads showing they have power and it really does not sit well with me. I will not recommend this place of business. Hopefully we can get this issue resolved.

Customer service will NEVER call you back! We had service installed 8 months ago and they have yet to put the line underground as promised. Everytime I call I get the run around and end up getting sent to someones voicemail that never calls you back. BEWARE!!!!

I have been a customer of Western Iowa Networks for 4 years now. They dont charge customers the same rates. It varies depending on where you live. They charge me over 100 dollars a month for 25 mbp internet connection and force me to have a land line that I dont want. I have complained about this issue many times over the past 4 years. I ended up talking to their CEO directly. He told me that they could disconnect my land line but, I would still get charged the same amount because they have to still run the line to my house. Worst ISP/phone/cable provider I have ever dealt with. Also, they like to charge outrageous connection fees even if you are a new customer. Youd be better off going with other providers if you have the option. Unfortunately, I dont have that option, so until then they continue to extort me for an internet connection.

Closed cash register early when company said they were open for another 35 min then denied assistance because it normally takes 40 min to upgrade phone, wasting my time and lunch hour.
