Ernest and Mike were the awesome duo that came to Elmhurst to move me to Midway. They are amazing, quick, and professional. My mothers dresser is old, but it means a lot to me. They wrapped it up like it was a fancy West Elm piece, and treated it with the utmost care. They were the absolute best. I cant recommend them enough. This year has been so stressful, and Im so grateful that I have one less thing to worry about. If youre ever on the fence to hire movers, just do it- you wont regret it!

Two men and a truck was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. They were very communicative and helped me feel very reassured throughout the entire process. I loved my experience. Paul in the office set up everything smoothly. He checked in a few days before and movers Anthony and Ruffin called on the day. They were professional and polite and I had my furniture moved and rugs unearthed from many pieces of my moms heavy furniture in three rooms with ease, and within the time I booked. No furniture was damaged and the rugs were rolled and ready for the cleaners. They moved the furniture back where I wanted it to go. Very happy with the service!

The 4 men arrived promptly on time. Introduced themselves. Asked to be shown around and then went straight to work. All of them were extremely helpful and polite. Great work by this team - we had a sort of unfortunate closing date gap so we had to hire them to move us twice, but they were great in helping us keep costs down so we didnt end up with two massive bills. The quality of the move was fantastic - great care taken with our items (wrapping, etc.) and they moved so fast. Highly recommend and would definitely use again if we ever need!

This is our second time using Two Men and a Truck! On both occasions, the front office (Mike Ascenzo) and the move team responded to all questions, were on time, handled our stuff with care, were very thorough and great to work with. Robert and the movers packed our POD and our truck and both crews were fabulous! They made sure to ask us if everything was okay and our needs were met before, during and after the appointment! I highly recommend them.

If you want your items moved professionally and done without major damage to your furniture, definitely go with another mover. I had a very expensive hand-crafted maple wood amish bed scratched up so bad you can wish anyone good luck touching it up to ever look the exact same. As well, while the furniture was moved out of the house the walls were scratched and knicked up like never seen before, making a recently built beautiful home look like a college dorm. The movers appeared to show no care to avoid damaging any furniture or damaging the house itself. As well, the company underestimated the space on the truck and ran out of room. I was promised another truck was on its way to pick up the remaining items and the truck never arrived, leaving myself to throw away the items myself (since I had no way of transporting the remaining items myself), with no compensation offered by the company.

I would like to give a positive report on the movers who moved my mothers things from her Assisted Living facility to another facility. They were Adam and Brandon N. They were on time, very polite, and helpful. They assisted me with packing that couldnt be done before moving day because she was still living in the space. Most importantly - The movers are super hard workers and do their best given the intense circumstances of a move from a first floor to a 3rd floor walk up. Good communication from main office during the day/time of the move (Adam, Aidan, Yezzin did a fantastic job!)BIG BUT -The office team underestimated the workload for 3 young people, These guys needed a 4th and they nearly passed out from the load of work. The office is not very good at getting back to you in a timely manner whether by phone/ or email while attempting to schedule.

Jimmy and Scott were so helpful moving large bulky furniture from my mother in laws apartment to our house. They were friendly, professional, wrapped and moved the furniture gently. I would definitely use this team again! Paul provided a quick accurate estimate.

We used them for our move from Glen Ellyn to Wheaton and they were so efficient. The move took less than 2 hours and they had all of our things packed within 45 min. I was recommended this company by my Aunt, and she did not steer me wrong. I was able to get a discount for moving Monday morning (my day off anyways!) and the price was already very reasonable (I was expecting to pay $500-$600 more than the final total). I had an entire apartment to pack up, including a very delicate and large glass topped desk, and the team they sent got it all wrapped up and packed lickety-split. Not so much as a scratch on anything. The guys, Devin, Adam, and Scott, seemed to work together really well, and wore their masks the whole time. Adam, Ethan, and Aiden were great! Very professional, fast, and yet still careful with the belongings they moved. They were also very polite and friendly at the same time even though they were all masked up. The office was also very professional and followed up with us, and the estimate was very clear and transparent. I’ve only ever moved with Two Men and a Truck and I will only ever move with Two Men and a Truck. They are worth twice what I paid for the move!

I cannot express how terrible my experience was. I booked the two men and a truck for an estimated 5.5-7.5 hours. Upon arrival they sat in my driveway for 25 min before coming in. When they came in they were not happy because there was more crates than expected (Time and Material who would care) After 30 min one of the workers went to my bathroom for 25 more min while the other worked alone. 2 hours in at my old location they said they were over budget, again time and material up to 7.5 hours, and refused to take all the crates. They moved what they loaded the 3 miles to my warehouse and unloaded in 30 min. Then sat outside in the truck for another 30 min. Came inside and billed me for 6 hours even though they could not take all from our house they were way under the estimate. I have used the service in the past and was happy, these guys were terrible and it was the worst experience I could have. Now I need to hire new movers to finish what they wouldnt do even though they were onsite already? Find a real mover is what I would say.

Pack up was quick and painless. Everything arrived in mint condition and they were so helpful with placing furniture in each room. Will absolutely go back.

It turns out I had really underestimated how many boxes I would have come moving day so at first we thought that might put the guys behind schedule but they called to make the changes needed and get help and were really fast and efficient and ended up getting it all in the truck. Adam S. and Devon D. were extremely professional and respectful of my items, worked quickly but thoroughly, and did an unbelievably amazing job arranging everything in my truck so that it would be protected and take up as little space as possible, maximizing leftover space for further items (I was doing a multi-state move with a few stops to add items along the way). This was my second time using Two Men and a Truck for moving services, and from now on theyll be the only company I use.

Very professional, helped set everything up for me. I was helped by Paul D. who was very professional and knew his stuff. I especially liked his jokes about his girlfriend needing hundreds of wardrobe boxes! HAHA

The men who came were on time. During the packing of the truck, it started to rain and snow. They did not stop to put down plastic on our rugs. They proceeded to pack up the truck and mudding up the rug bad. They broke several of our bookcases. In moving the boxes into our new home, they were careless. Fragile boxes with up arrows were put upside down, at the bottom of a stack of boxes. Our reptile tank was put at the bottom of a double stack of boxes. A bleach box was put on its side, when it was clearly labeled up. The printer was put at the bottom of a stack of heavy boxes. Overall we are not happy with their services considering how much was paid.

Two Men were able to accommodate my tight move-in time frame. One of the movers injured himself right as the move begun, to which the company quickly sent out another crew to makeup the time and keep me on schedule. I didnt have to voice any concern. It was handled before I knew what happened. Outside of that, they got the job done efficiently. Every single item I owned made it into the new space with care. They supplied the mattress bag and wrapped up my TVs and delicate electronics. If you hire these guys and Trent is on the job, you may as well kick back and relax. He gets it done. As far as Covid, they were masked and responsible. I had no concerns. I would absolutely recommend them.

We chose Two Men and a Truck because of their reviews and reputation in the area. Unfortunately our experience was horrific. The two men that were sent to us lacked not only in professionalism, but integrity, respect, and competency to perform a 1 bedroom move to a storage space (which later 2 other employees from Two Men and a Truck indicated was a normal small job). From the beginning these individuals entered our residency with a lethargic attitude and began bashing the company for assigning them a second job that day. They then proceeded to leave, enter their vehicle and refused work until we had to contact their supervisor. While we were on the phone trying to resolve the issue with their supervisor, the two men offered to do the job on the side the next day if we rented a Uhaul and paid them cash. After a screaming back and fourth with their supervisor (who was also unprofessional) we agreed that they would complete the job that day (the day they were hired for). The men proceeded to move at a glacial pace while still complaining, and my husband had to step in and assist with the move and carrying heavy items. They refused to take several items from our patio (that were listed on the contract) and small miscellaneous items that belong to a household (lamps, chairs, paintings, etc.). Due to the incompetence of these individuals my husband had to rent a Uhaul the next day to complete the job himself. We have filed a complaint with the company and have not heard back from them in a week. If I could review with no stars, I would.Update 3/11: After receiving a response from the owner that we would be contacted to discuss these issues, it has now been a week and we have not heard back from the company. It is a shame the experience that we are having with this company.

The online form was the easiest one to fill out that I have found. The office team helped me with my estimation, were very friendly and gave me a fair quote. They were extremely prompt in replying by email to my questions and let me know what to expect. The movers were on-time, polite, positive, and were cheerful while working. They listened carefully as I pointed out the important items I wanted to be handled with care. They had enough furniture blankets and shrink/gage wrap for everything. And although the move exactly on-time for what I was quoted, it might have been done earlier if they had used dollies and moved more than one box at a time.

Called them two days prior for help loading a piano and a triple dresser into a rental truck from two different locations. They arrived promptly, wrapped and secured the items and loaded them into the truck. This is the second time Ive used these guys and I will do it again! They work quickly, efficiently, safely, and with a cheerful attitude! If you need help moving or just loading/unloading, call these guys! You wont regret it!

The whole experience of utilizing 2 men and a truck was outstanding. Stephanie in the office was polite funny and provided excellent customer service. Communication with her and the team of movers was impeccable.The movers themselves were extremely helpful and polite, always offering to more than expected. They were right on time and kept a good pace both loading and unloading the truck. Not a scratch on anything they moved nor to any of the walls at each place.I strongly recommend the TMT Carol Stream team. They made my local move considerably easier.

I hired Two Men and a Truck for my move from the western Chicago suburbs down to the city. Before even getting to the actual move, the customer service was perfect. Robert Engler walked me through the process via email and answered my questions over the phone which made me at ease with moving my belongings. When the moving day came, Steve and Trent were extremely helpful, careful and diligent with all of my belongings. They showed up right on time when they said they would arrive as well. When we arrived at my new location, they offered to set up my furniture for me as well, which I didnt even plan on requesting from them. They all went above and beyond for me which made the stress of a moving day non- existent. I would highly recommend and use in the future.

Our experience was excellent from the outset with our navigating your website to our first contact with Robert who was most helpful! Our movers( our Two Men) Were Nick and Sandro who are both hard working and professional and clearly wanted to make this difficult ( moving is never easy!) experience a good one!
