I first heard of them at the Fair Oaks Fiesta Days. I was parked next to a classic Suburban and they recommended Rods R Us. I have a 69 GTO that had a tired sounding engine. I took it to them and they looked it over. They probably spent 15 to 20 minutes and gave me a diagnosis of a bad rod. I spoke to them about doing the pull and replacement of the engine if I were to do a rebuild and they said they were full for a couple of months. I moved on, a friend helped me do the work, but 3 months after I saw them, they called me to see if I had found someone to help. Really? Who actually follows up anymore. It is so rare and so appreciated! Fast forward to this year, I had an electrical issue and I called Kim to make an appointment. A few days prior to the appointment, we had a death in the family and I had to cancel. Kim was so understanding. Someday, it will be a pleasure to have them work on my car, but the follow up, the concern that I found a solution, these are things that are LOST today, but Rods R Us still values customer service. Thanks all!

OK, I have seen a completely BS one star review on Google and had to respond. Rods R Us simply does the job right, with integrity and at a fair priced. I have a 1956 Ford F-100 that had to have another shops mistakes corrected to include aligning the rear end and adding a hydroboost to make the brakes work along with some rewiring of the last shops complete rewire job. Could not be happier, Nick, Patrick, Don and Vic know what they are doing. So happy with that work I decided to use them to swap out my 1956 Y Block for a shiny new Ford Racing 427 crate this year. I just saw a magazine article where the same engine was put in another 56 F-100 and that shop had to move the engine 7 to the rear and I know why. Turns out it is very hard to fit a 427 in an F-100 with an IFS clip but Rods R Us did it and it is awesome. Includes a Eddie Performance front drive and Sniper EFI. Now the Sniper is in its first year of production and there have been some issues tweaking the tuning. BUT, Patrick is working the problem with Holley and has not charged one dime while working to get it right. This shop does beautiful high end work from full restorations, to classic endurance rally cars, muscle cars and regular repair and maintenance of classic vehicles. Dont believe if you hear otherwise; take a shop tour and talk to Vic and Patrick.

These guys do great work! They are working with me to restore my 76 Oldsmobile 98 a little at a time. Pat and his crew dont restore cars, they create art.

Brought my 1968 Camaro in to do a complete engine transplant. Had a big block with an antiquated set-up and went to an LS engine. Extensive amount of work that included a new harness, computer, braking system, transmission, guages, coil springs, radiator etc...lots of hours of work. I also has quite a bit of cosmetic work done to the engine bay, which is now super clean and the car itself that included powder coating (they outsourced), new emblems, & mirrors, shifter, LED lights etc...The car came out of the shop with everything done the way I wanted - RIGHT. My only complaint is the car lights my ass on fire now!Patrick/Jeremy & Team were always very responsive and answered any call or text when I reached out. No hesitation in recommending the shop for large or small jobs.

Rods R Us performed a significant amount of work to help out a 64 Chevelle build. Their task was to go through all the work done thus far and deem it safe with a priority check list. They did a good job on brakes, timing the engine, and tightening up suspension, unfortunately the Chevelle went into their shop with a brand new 700R4 transmission and when they were finished it didnt work. It was towed from their shop to the transmission builder after 2 months the transmission builder stated: the person who first first fired the engine and adjusted everything around the flexplate jammed things together too tight, and ran it too long on initial start, damaging a lot of parts. This was something done by Rods R Us and specifically pointed out to me by Rods R Us, their shop first fired the engine and did these adjustments, damaging the transmission oil pump, flexplate, and torque converter. These tolerances were not done correctly nor checked BEFORE starting the engine. We hear a noise they told me. Well, of course. Thats $2200 worth of noise youre hearing because these things werent done right or checked.Additionally one of the main jobs for Rods R Us was to fabricate lower window metal for the windshield. The first time they got it wrong and the installer could not put the window in, they forgot to account for space of the window trim clips. It was fixed and installed. Once the broken transmission was fixed and I was able to do a walk around I noticed the window metal was fabbed about 1/2 too far to the left, it doesnt line up with the cars body lines, and this cant be adjusted with fender and hood alignment, its simply in the wrong place.Lastly, they lost the wheel lug lock socket, so the wheels cannot be removed. Had to re-order a new set for all 4 wheels to get this wheel lug lock, luckily the new one fit. Some of the work was not satisfactory and very expensive to repair the mistakes. Heres hoping their business practices are fair and they pay for the repair damage. So far no response. If this build was too challenging or not up to the standards they can perform they should have denied the project and my $4000 I gave them.
