Big thanks to Dave from Duncan Appliance for repairing my Dacor oven. He went the extra mile to be sure he diagnosis was correct. He even came in under the original estimated quote.

Reviews were misleading. I provided the error codes which had indicated drain sump issue and possible replacement at the time I made the appointment; however, the technician who arrived did not have any of the parts needed to fix my washer. He indicated it was widely available but because he came on a Friday he would not be able to come back to fix until sometime the following week (I had already waited three days for the appointment). It was a major disappointment. In addition, there is a flat diagnostic fee and unlike competitors they do not discount that (take off the bill) even when they perform the work. Based on these reasons, I do not recommend using this company. There are other service companies much professional and reliable.

Never before have I encountered such dogged heart felt support in solving our problems. His day started at the office at 5:00am and his last call of the night was at my house for a refrigerator repair. He knew I was having oven trouble too so when Steve got done with fixing the refrigerator he willingly tackled the oven, something he did not have to do. I might add that two other repair companies attempted to fix our oven without success. Steve mentally diagnosed the problem before even starting on it. Took the mother board and slave board out and yep, just as he surmised, they needed attention and repair. Solder to the damaged relay and we were off and running. Finally at 930pm Steve got to drive the one hour trip back home and call it a day after 17.5 hours on the job. That my friend is a true professional. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us during the Christmas Holidays wherein ovens and refrigerators are very important items. We couldnt have had a better experience than we have had with everyone at Duncan Appliance. Call them, you will not regret it, PROMISE!!!

Not a good customer service. You leave messages no one returns your call till 3rd business days. I filled out online service request too next day which is what worked I think after 2 days to get a call back to know they are not available for 2.5 weeks. Waste of my 3 days waiting for them. Their VM says will call back same day but doesnt happen. I like to see a business care about your business. Its good for these service companies to be busy but not good to not answer your calls or call back after 3 days thats poor customer service specially since people need service when something is broken. I would suggest adding a full time scheduler on the staff who answers live calls or calls right back. You may already have them but you may need better or more of them.

Amazing service! Had a very complex problem with a newer refrigerator so they sent out Steve Duncan himself to check it out. He felt strongly right off the bat that it would be best to buy a new fridge but he spent a lot of time researching and diagnosing the problem before just condemning it and moving on to the next job. Although I need a new fridge I would absolutely use them in the future and highly recommend them! Honesty and integrity that is much needed in today’s society!

Very professional. The tech fixed the ice maker on our fridge. I really like the follow up. As soon as the tech left after diagnosing the problem, the office called within an hour to schedule the repair in the next week. The office also called the day before an appointment to remind us that the tech would be there the next day. Really felt like they were well organized.

I sent a web request to Duncan Appliance in May about my Asko Dishwasher repair (they were the approved service company). I did not hear back so I called in June and they found my web request and apologized for not getting back with me. They then made an appointment for July 15. The service rep came out and listed all the parts needed to repair and verified they were available. I texted him 2 days later (per his request) and said we wanted to move forward. After 6 weeks I called to find out why they had not repaired. They said there was no order and it was just showing as an open estimate in the system....translation nothing happened. They called the service tech but he did not remember the parts needed and lost all the info. They finally called me back on 9/23 with the answer of you just need to buy a new dishwasher. How about that for customer service. I could have bought a new dishwasher in May...now it is late September. I am very disappointed. I also called on 9/21 and asked Mr. Duncan to call me about it but he did not. He just had the service tech call me with the news.

Duncan Appliance Service is a fabulous company! They have been servicing our appliances for many years, including a built-in microwave, an oven, a washer, and most recently a new refrigerator that was just out of warranty. Tony is a genius, and we always trust him to make our appliances work again. Our refrigerator started giving us problems before the one year warranty was up, and the GE technician was unable to solve the problem. So we called Duncan when the same issue arose, and Tony took the entire freezer portion apart to find the problem, something the previous technician was unwilling to do. We highly recommend Duncan and will always call them when we have an appliance problem.

We’ve used Duncan twice now in two months time. Response time was excellent, service was done promptly and with minimal fuss. Cost seemed very reasonable. Both technicians were knowledgeable and courteous as well as on-time. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I called after a horrible experience with another company and they were on top of it!! They showed up on time, called before, diagnosed the problem an got the part! Everything was done with great service and very timely. It cost me half of what the other company quoted! This is the company to call!!

Washing machine stared making noises. I called and set an appointment. I got a call prior to arrival and was asked some more questions to clarify what my problem was. He advised me that the repair was going to be expensive, and it may be better to purchase a new unit if we could.A repair company obviously makes money from repairs. It was nice to have an honest and sincere repair company looking out for my family’s best interests. We will use Duncan for any future problems because of this! (Hopefully we don’t have to though.)

I scheduled an appointment for a repair on a Whirlpool dryer. Steve was at my house two days later installing a factory-certified part. Im back up and running, and I paid what I felt was a very fair rate for the service. Will definitely call again when something else inevitably breaks down.

Service is extremely poor, will never call them and definitely will not recommend them. Technicians dont show up withing window and call late to apologize for not showing up on time and to have you call the company to reschedule the service call.
