Would not recommend this job to anyone unless they have no other options. Amazon as an entire company does not care about the individual and will not take accountability for there mistakes that negatively impact workers. I myself was poorly treated by DSD2 which is the Carlsbad location. The Yard Marshals are very pushy, agenda driven and only care about there bonus incentive to get drivers out of the yard. They dont care about the drivers organization in his/her van even though that is %50 of being a successful driver on the road. They have tunnel vision for there bonus.I personally was loading a nursery level 2 load (way less packages) and finished early. I had 10 minutes to spare and was going to grab my personal phone from the back of my van and go help other drivers load there vans (not required).Yard Marshal Jacob came over and slammed my door on my phone before I could get to it and proceeded to only make sure that I had pressed start travel on my device. At this moment I wanted to throw the device at him but I did not because that wouldnt fix my phone. The entire reason my phone even got smashed is because amazon decided to stop putting printed pick lists on the racks. So I had to log in on my personal phone (not required but basically is now because the rabbits are trash) and look at my pick list via email to load my over flow correctly.Had they not made this change, I wouldnt be going through any of this frustration. Had they not paid a bonus to people who literally do nothing but direct vans in the yard, I wouldnt be going through this frustration.I will do everything in my power to steer people away from this company and customers who use it because even after explaining myself and the yard marshal himself taking responsibility and apologizing, Amazon still decided to not to pay for the replacement of my broken screen. Big company stepping on a small worker just trying to work to make ends meet.Driver/warehouse workers, do not break your backs for this company, stay away and get out before they do you like they did me.
Definitely a bottom of the barrel job that if you are left with no where else to turn, then work here. False promises, inconsistent schedule, inconsistent pay, and inconsistent work flow.
Drivers need to learn how to read and follow delivery instructions.
This location is currently not getting packages out for delivery until after 12 making deliveries late in the day causing missed deliverys. They need to go back and get them out by 9am
I was here for an interview, the place from outside is really nice looking but once you walk in its thes total opposite...
They need to protect there workers better. Ive seen sick people working there. I fear for my wife who also works there.
Small lil place to deliver. Not bad. Waiting time is minimal.
How is it possible that 4 of my 5 last Amazon packages, being delivered by amazon logistics, isn’t here within the 2 day prime time frame? They’re prime products, with 2 day estimates. Looks like the only courier capable of delivering my packages in time is the USPS and Fedex as of late. Amazons an amazing company....but can they keep up with the competitiveness of their rival delivery services? Time will tell.
Best workout Ill ever get working here. Takes time patience and dedication. If you can make it this far dont give up!!
The Management Team here is fantastic!
Theese people drive bad almost hit my car as they speed down loker. They also need to do the speed limit do to peds that cross in the blind spots it wont be long before some one gets hit....they flip people off and are verry disrespectful we are tired of it and we plan to do something about it.....please leave a review if you have had an experience like this the city would like to know...
Its a smaller warehouse compare to any other amazon location but its been my home(work) for 2 years now.
Amazons Carlsbad station. Other corporations work in or around this location and finding a parking spot can be difficult at times.
The absolute worse people to do business with as far the flex program goes.Abuse and complete lack of decency and appreciation. All good ppl that worked here are now gone. Only left with a bunch of morons on a power trip...
This place is amazing, great environment and even better people! This AMZL location is only going to get busier and busier. UPS & FexEx, watch out!!
Staff is clueless, cant get any information, you show up via directions from app, staff brings a cart full of boxes for delivery, thats it!! youre on your own no instructions guidance, and the flex app is a battery Hogg/Gas guzzler!!, Buggy freezes, not efficient, navigates throu Bing maps, Amazon flex and Bing maps do not work well together, messy app.
I went for a slow shift, but of the three warehouses, this one is pretty nice.
Dispatch are not helpful and antaginizing had equipment issues and there response was figure it out and keep on working so from fallbrook i had to drive 45 minutes to dsd2 to obtain equipment that works and expected me to deliver with only half of tank of gas
Favorite dsd
Cleaning and organized place.
