Great Barber Shop in Carlsbad. I had my 1st cut with Vincent & a had a great experience. He gave me a professional cut with a low fade. He used scissors to trim the top and lined up a nice fade with natural finish. Great shop with good atmosphere and modern style. The service here was exceptional and the price was very fair. I purchased a nice hair balm as well at a good price. Very happy with my experience.

I had a haircut here with the owner (Vianna) as my barber. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by Penelope the dog. You are then sitting in the most amazing barbers chair and Im brought back to the basics of a great hair cut with smells of sandalwood and male hair products. Not to mention awesome old school hip hop playing in the background. Soooooo dope.

Im a stickler for quality. Id rather a quality haircut than something rushed/subpar. Vianna and Wing & Blade are no doubt one of the best Ive ever been to. She made it her mission to understand exactly what I wanted and clarified before going to town. Not only that but everyone is super friendly and the space is beautiful. Wing and Blade is kind of like a craft coffee space in a world of Starbucks... Huge refresher and highly recommended.

So I’m not sure what happened. I use to come here all the time for over a year and have an appointment with Kris. She was amazing and I’ve always enjoyed visiting with her. Then suddenly she disappeared of the booking place and no one could tell me what happened with her. I really only have ever wanted to get my haircut by her. I finally found out that she moved to Sola salon studios, pretty close to this salon. I’m sure the other stylists here are great, but if you’re specifically looking for Kris, she’s in Sola Salon Studios also in Carlsbad not too far away from here!

If you’re looking for a professional haircut, a shave, beard line-up, etc, look no further. You are getting a wealth of experience in barbering, as most of them are duel licensed (barber and cosmo license), and have been cutting hair for years in the SD area. Which means they follow state board sanitation, so no need to worry. The shop is clean and bright, and airy, as it is housed in a roll up garage. Book an appointment and get yourself cleaned up, that way you can go on that hot date this weekend looking suave.

I scheduled an appointment for my boyfriend and he was very satisfied with the service. The straight razor service left him clean cut and handsome. $30 for just the beard but worth the service.

Kris was awesome! She fixed my “haircut” that I previously had got from a near by shop for a wedding and made it worth the money. I would definitely be coming back in the future.

I had a fantastic experience with Kris. She really understands mens hair. Ive gotten more compliments than i can count in the last few days since Kris cut my hair. I cant say enough good things, im just so happy i found Wing & Blade and I highly recommend.

Awesome shop with only 2 chairs and very professional barbers. The shop is actually located inside the Phenix Salon Suites building with numerous other self care startups which is why you cant find it on street view. I had Shannon and she did an awesome job, complete with a straight blade neck trim! Their appointments run exactly on time so book one on their site which also lists their great prices. Their prices are way better than the chain shops and you get waaaay better service.

Love this place, they did a great job on my hair and my daughters hair.
