We are from out of town.Camping nearby.Our check engine light came on. Called the dealership and was able to have an appointment the very next day.Ruben , the service manager, was amazing. So nice. He explained everything to us.Beto was the genius who fixed our truck. The no sales commission zone. Haha like the salesman is on our side. This place has been unable to produce a straight deal with multiple tries. They offer ridiculous terms after saying and sending misleading messages. (full book value for your trade then come in 5k+ lower.) This last trip, We have no F-350s on the lot and we arent sure we can get one, but we would like to work with you. You dont have what I want, lie about the trade value, and then you want to run my credit for a vehicle of your choosing? hah yeah that will work. Just skip the vaseline.

Our family was in Carlsbad for Spring Break. We began to notice, on the drive to NM, that the van was shaking a lot. It got to the point we felt it was unsafe to continue to drive it. The service rep knew my family had no where to go, as we were passing through, and quickly found a tech to determine the cause. They did not have the tire we needed but knew the one we were using could burst at any time. So instead of us having to delay the next leg of our vacation by a day, they referred us to another tire dealer (a competitor) so we could get the tire we needed and installed on the same day. Great customer service and I am still proud to be a Ford owner.

Had my vehicle towed here for repair. When i called to check on it two weeks later, they said they didnt know where it was. It sat in the same spot it was dropped off,, for 2 weeks! Called multiple time and they said they would look for it, they never called me back. Service reps didnt seem to give a flip. Wont be sending my truck back here EVER. Will be telling all the other people I work with to avoid this place

Our experience at Carlsbad ford has been the absolute worst.I don’t expect much from car dealerships as they are snakes.I do expect respect and for them to at least pick up a phone when you buy a brand new 2018 f350 for $63,000....That to me is not a little chunk of change.My fiancé went into the dealership on a Thursday and started looking around and asking questions.He never once told them to run his credit and yet they still did it.So the next day which was a Friday we went in after work because we had seen they ran his credit without permission.So we then proceeded to say since you ran it what deal can you get us for the vehicle.They told us we can’t tell you until we run the information to the bank to see the interest rate.But all you have to do is say yes and I’ll get right on it.So he did and we got information he said we will send someone to pick it up from the other dealership which was 8 hrs away and it will be here by Tuesday.The reason for it being Tuesday was because they told us the man that they pay to get it would leave on Monday on normal business hours to get it then be back.We came in on a Monday to sign and pay 10,000 down for the vehicle and was told it will be here.The following day we call and call nobody picks up nobody knows where the vehicle is.We get ahold of someone and they tell us the vehicle is on a transport truck which it wasn’t suppose to be and they kept lying saying someone was physically driving our vehicle they even figured into the paperwork approximately how many miles would be on it by the time it got there.So we again went into the dealership to see what was going on and the front desk guy tells us I have been trying to call the guy he won’t pick up and we have no idea where he is.He basically played it like someone was driving it even though he knew the truth just to pacify us.Instead of telling us what really happened he just buried himself more and more.Not Only was our vehicle 4 almost 5 days later than what we were told but they also ran the vehicle through what we think was their car wash which is not meant for our vehicle and scratched our brand new vehicle.I felt incredibly bad for our saleswoman as she was a complete sweetheart and this was one of her first vehicles she had sold and all the other people completely trashed her sale.Mrs.Monica is absolutely amazing but for the rest of the department I had never seen such poor behavior.If you are looking for a vehicle don’t waste your time or stress over this dealership because they will not give you a good experience.

They had an Economic Stimulus event. I spent a week talking to them. Gave my info and my situation to them. Spoke to them over messenger on Facebook. Screen shots of the messages show, them GUARANTEE MY APPROVAL AND ZERO DOWN. Literally was told to just show up and I’ll drive away in a brand new truck. I drove three hours there, to be told I would need to put 3-5 thousand down. Pay extra close to their advertising, they never list all the requirements and will tell you what you want to hear. They false advertise. I sent them a FB message after I left expressing my displeasure, on a private message and they have now blocked me from their Facebook account. Since they can’t own up to the agreement we had in writing, the proof is overwhelming, I’m going to pursue legal action against them. DONT DO BUSINESS HERE

I bought my first car from here a little less than a month ago. I drove four hours to get the car looked at it it seemed fine. I went back a few days later and purchased then realized the key fob was broke, AC wasn’t working, and the mirror was broken. Finally get the AC fixed an hour into the drive back home. I then get off the highway once I’m home and the brakes are squeaking and car is shaking. Contacted Carlsbad Ford they said they’d help me if I could get the Ford in my town to say exactly what’s wrong with it so I got them the paper after a month of calling anybody and everybody I could talk to there the gentleman who told me they would fix it if I got that paper said sorry we aren’t fixing anything that it’s my fault I didn’t drive it longer than the hour test drive I took. After wasted a whole month calling. When all these issues should have been inspected. I’m very upset with them and don’t appreciate them ignoring my calls for over a month instead of just saying we aren’t going to fix our mistakes. DON’T BUY A CAR FROM THEM! THEY DON’T WANT TO TAKE CARE OF YOU. THEY CAN’T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONES WHEN YOU CALL!!!

Every time I’ve had to deal with the service department they have been uninterested in helping effectively, and not given me calls back in any sort of timely manner, instead of scheduling appointments they suggest walking in and then having to wait around for when they have time to squeeze you in on their schedule.I had an insurance claim I was trying to work them with and they “took pictures” of the wrong side of my car delaying my insurance claim process and then when I contacted them no one had any clue about the claim or the process and the representatives were hard to get ahold of for assistance.Would not recommend.They replaced a tire pressure sensor gauge and it’s still not working.

I recently purchased a Ford Fiesta ST 2019 from Carlsbad Ford who gave me what I think was a deal I couldnt walk away from. I love my new Fiesta ST and love the experience I had buying the vehicle. The staff was so loving and welcoming that I almost forgot I was at a dealership at that time. I also had my first complimentary oil change with the Carlsbad Ford Quick Lane department. I was in and out and had all my fluids checked serviced and even my inspection sheet. I now love my dealership as much as I do my car because I know when I need service or a new car Carlsbad Ford will go out of their way to get me exactly what Im looking for. Horrible service! We bought our Ford expedition here. AC wasnt working properly, so we took it in. They tried charging us 2 grand for a new air compressor. Decided to take it to another mechanic.. IT WAS THE CABIN FILTER! 60 dollar fix! Ridiculous!

I had a truck towed in to the dealership almost a month ago. I have called 7 times and have either got an answering machine (blew me away) or I get transferred to the supposed appropriate person, but that goes to voicemail. I have left 3 different persons a callback number and still no response. I guess Im going to have to take a trip to the dealership to see if it actually exists.

My vehicle was diagnosed in a timely manner, the technician knew what parts needed to be ordered and my vehicle was ready to go. My wife and i were immediately greeted with a good morning and a genuine smile. We waited only briefly and the auto shop was courteous and professional and did the oil change and due service check. Upon completion and during our brief wait we had the pleasure of bantering and overall absolutely enjoying fun and lighthearted conversation with the very professional and overall best employee we have encountered at carlsbad ford . DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE FOR SERVICE! Took our Ford truck to get the AC fixed. They said we needed to replace the pcm the cost was $2,000 bucks and they said it would fix the problem.(the truck sat there for 7 days) $2,000 dollars later we left the dealership only to realize the AC still didnt work. Took it right back only for them to tell us our 2003 F250 was a piece of junk and the only way to fix it would be to dish out another $2,000 dollars! We did not have them do the work on something that should have been fixed in the first place! When we got home we opened the hood only to find they cracked the new front grill on the truck. Then walked around back and found a cracked tail light and pushed out tailgate. They are a bunch of rip offs. I feel sorry for anyone who has had the misfortune of dealing with these people!!!

Service manager was reluctant to get my vehicle in at first due to them being busy but then fit me in for an oil change as well as a recall that was showing on it. They were quick and thorough and then wiped down the interior and door handles with sanitizer when I picked it up!

I have to say that when I walked onto the lot yesterday, I did not expect much. I had been in a couple of times since moving to Carlsbad 3 years ago. Both times, the staff had zero interest in selling us anything, even though we were ready to purchase. In those cases, we ended up buying elsewhere.Recently, we had been looking for another vehicle, and noticed that they had one in our price range like we were interested in. Walked up to the dealership, and there were a couple of salesmen sitting outside on a break. DJ (Donel) was very friendly, laid back, and not pushy at all. He showed us the vehicle, let us take it on a test drive, etc. We decided it was what we wanted, so we ran the numbers and came to an agreement.There had been a warning light come on in the car when we drove it. The guys in the shop could not get it fixed, and the manager was concerned about selling us the car with a problem. He and DJ noticed that one with less miles had just come in, but was still being checked in. They got it and pulled it around, and it was even better shape with about 1/4 of the miles on it we were looking at initially. They were able to sell it to us for about the same price! Very pleased with the dealership. They treated us well, and there was no pressure. Good job, Carlsbad Ford.

Im sad to say that eventhough i had a good experience with the work done to my truck. it aggravates me to say that during the time my truck was in the shop i came by to get tools out of it. i found the truck was unlocked and un attended. i told the service tech to make sure it is looked if they were going to leave it out in the open. when i picked my truck up i started loading tools back in it and found someone had got into it and stole multiple items out of it. since this has happened i have made SEVERAL calls but only got one manager and he passed me off to the guy i havent been able to co tact. THANKS FOR NOTHING. the one manager i talked to said they have been having vandalism and break ins regularly. all i know is if you brought me your car and items were stolen from it. I would make it my number 1 priority to get right with you. extremely disappointed in the way this has been blown off by the service department.

30 percent restocking fee on a part that was never opened and was previously in stock. 30% on a 2000$ part which was also grossly marked up due to being an oilfield area. As well as a salesperson who made a sale to my 20yr old gf who had bought her first truck from them after working a year in the oilfield the worst deal Ive ever seen. Took advantage of a young woman who worked very hard for the money she had. 8000 down. She was told the purchase price was 18k....When I looked at her paperwork she paid 22k for a 10 year old f150. Read your paperwork and understand it when buying with this dealer. They are crooks! They took her down payment stuck it in this pocket and gave her a loan for the whole purchase price and just worked the numbers on the contract.

The lady in parts/service was exceptionally helpful, cheerful and fun to interact with. These folks did a great job with helping me get into the vehicle that I wanted. The sales(James Perez) and others did great, as well as the finance department. My only qualm was with follow up regarding the transfer of plates from old to new. They were supposed to call back regarding the issue (Texas v. New Mexico) but did not. They had a credit forgiveness sales even going on, spent 2 1/2 hours there yesterday. Test drove a used truck, only to be told I would need a co signer or 50% of the total price for a down payment. About 2 years ago I had such a wonderful experience buying a vehicle from Northside Ford (SATX) and it was all thanks to Ramiro. Fast forward the 2 years and my fiancé was in the market for a new truck so we decided to contact Ramiro once again but he moved to Carlsbad NM BUT he was still working for Ford (thankfully). His customer service has always been spectacular so we decided to just go ahead and drive the 7 hours just to make the purchase of the vehicle with Ramiro. When I tell you that I have NEVER EVER received better customer service I mean it. He went above and BEYOND to make sure my fiancé got exactly what he wanted but also Ramiro made sure that everything went smoothly. When we arrived at the dealership all of the paperwork was already ready and all we had to do was sign. The week before Ramiro stayed in contact with us making sure that everything was perfect for when we arrived and that the vehicle was exactly what we were looking for. The 7 hour drive was worth it because we received superior customer service. We will DEFINITELY make all of our future vehicle purchases from Ramiro regardless of how far the dealership is from us.

Salesmen lied. I drove 169 miles to pick it up and drive home in a new vehicle. Apon arrival the salesperson had nothing done and the vehicle was the not the wee spoke about and the price for price for the vehicle was twice that of what we agreed upon. Not to mention the payments would be more than I could afford the the salesperson had an attitude of he sold me a vehicle and I was ridiculous needless to say I left without a vehicle and unpleasant visit I would not I would not suggest suggest this dealership to anybody that doesnt live there and have to drive 160 mile home thinking about how miserable it was.

I scheduled an oil change for 0600 and they promptly pulled my car in for service. While I waited the nice gentleman offered me a beverage of my choice! When they were finished, he went over everything they had done, removed the paper protector from the floor and said to call him if I had any problems or questions. It was about 0630. I call several times a week and most of the time no one even answers the dealership phone. When I have actually been able to talk to someone they always say they will check into it and call me right back. To this day I have yet to hear from anyone. I live out of state and can not go to dealership to take care of this in person.

Took the truck there for a slight clunk sound in the rear when coming to a stop. It was brought to their attention before warranty ran out, but they said there was nothing wrong. Overtime it got worse. Took the truck back to them. They quoted over $3000 to fix it and that it was the rear differential. Had them open the differential and checked the oil while truck was on the lift. It was clean and everything looked fine. Took the truck home after they charged $300 for the time they had it on the lift. Spent 5 minutes on google and found out that Ford changed the type of grease in the slip joint on the drive shaft. Purchased $28 in supplies and fixed it by regreasing the slip joint with the updated grease. They are incompetent. Or if they are competent, they are dishonest.

At this point in time, I am still waiting for a call from the dealership on the repair I have to get done on the Camaro ZL1. I was informed that a check was coming to assist on the repair. The check was to have been mailed out and as of 9/16, I have not seen the check. I am also still waiting on registration and plates. The business administration is to say very disappointing and disorganized. No one seems to take ownership of the customer concern/issue. You constantly get the run around.

I wouldnt step place in this dealership ever again I called and asked to test drive a Toyota which they had two I might add but once I got there they were determined to sell me on a 2020 Ford explorer not once in the two hours I was there did I get to look at the vehicle I called and asked for. They preach they are non sales commission which may be true but for not being commission they are real pushey and dont listen to you and what you really are looking for if I could give zero stars I would Ill be going to Texas for a vehicle I asked for!!!!!

If I could give less than one star I would. 2017 f250 was in the shop for over two weeks for a steele rim and a battery. No communication, no one would answer the phone. When I finally was able to get in touch with someone, they promised the truck by noon and didnt get it until 5 PM

DJ the salesman I had the pleasure of working with should be a trainer. When you go into a dealership anymore you automatically prepare for pushy sales tactics to say the least. DJ was nothing like I expected, and that was a good thing. Once I found what our company was looking for I told him after the initial test drive I was still checking around making sure I wasnt passing up a deal. He never pushed, or tried to tell me someone was looking at it that morning, etc. He simply said he understood, and would be happy if I came back. The way it went the first time I definitely went back after not finding anything else around. The second time was not so pleasant because I did not deal directly with DJ. I got to speak to the General Manager and all I can say is, between DJ and the General Manager that is the way a dealership experience should be. They have my personal business, my companies business, and will have as long as Im running things. Great experience, and I recommend them.

Completely horrible service! Took our truck in (that we JUST BOUGHT and hadnt even had for a month) in for a warranty issue that was supposed to take a week. Three weeks later we still dont have our truck! Do not use this dealership!

The worst service I have ever experienced at any dealership. Would not recommend wasting any time here at this place.Only have 1 diesel tech( in an oilfield area that is booming)Called for two days before actually getting a call back from the website chat line.The main 575# on the website, is not taking calls right now????How does this place stay in business???

Paulette & Kim make a great team. I was able to get the Michelins I wanted and at a good price. The valet service meant I didnt have to sit and wait at the dealership and the complimentary car wash was icing on the cake.
