Ive used this insurance agent for... a REALLY long time! I appreciate friendly advice and the extra effort that is taken to resolve issues and make sure all my questions are answered.

Here is my updated review and I have updated my yelp review as well.Walt is never there for his customers and they have a high turn over of agents. I would recommend going to another State Farm agent if youre looking for an agent that you can count on.Their office also takes for ever to get back to you over the phone or by email. I needed to renew my $1m umbrella policy and found out 2 months later it was about to be canceled because there office never submitted my paperwork. If it was not for the other agent I switched to my policy would have been canceled and I would have had no idea.I had my policies held for 5 years under Walts branch of State Farm. There has been high turn over for what ever reason. Never a follow up email from Walt, no phone call explaining whats going on or who will take care of me after the many agents before Ashley left. For 5 years I had my policies there I only ever got a call from Walt once. That was when I first started with them. For someone that says there in the office everyday I never spoke with him or got a call back, never even an email.I wanted to provide an update to my review as I saw what Walt had written in a response to my short post/review trying to make up for my negative review. I also believe having insurance is very important and its just as important to work with an agent you can count on.

Professional advise for my Life insurance needs.

Terrible insurance branch.I had so many issues with this insurance branch and Walt himself cannot accept responsibility for his branches shortcomings. Time and time again his branch has proven to be incompetent and unable to return calls.Save yourself the time and hassle and go with someone else.Considering how terrible their branch is, there isnt a single response from the Walt to these reviews.... Says a lot!In response to Walts response regarding my other reviews. Please look at my reviews there so many more positive than negative.The root of my unpleasantry with your agency was a text notifications and how I never signed up for them. I always selected and requested email notification since text message bots ALWAYS seem like spam. I was never rude to anyone over the phone. Even after your firm dropped the ball on continuing to charge me (for 11 months) a premium on a moped I didnt have since it was stolen and my deductible was basically the same price as the moped...Im not rude, I expect a certain level of service. Its not that complicated, bud.

Angela at Walt Waggener’s office — as well as Walt’s son Ryan Waggener — have been providing me with insurance for many years. They’re kind, professional, and helpful. Always been a pleasure doing business with them. Highly recommend them.

I am extremely disappointed in the unprofessionalism of the handling of my family’s last renters insurance claim. We were mandatory evacuated from our house due to a fire on board Camp Pendleton. At the evacuation center I called Walt’s office and was told by an individual directly and repeatedly that we would be reimbursed for a hotel and any other necessary expenses that occurred.However two weeks later, I was told by a State Farm adjuster that the information was not correct and we would not be reimbursed.My complaint is not with the policy itself but the incorrect information my family received and what felt like like an insincere apology that followed after expressing my frustration with Walt’s office. It makes me hesitant if in an emergency again, we will have a similar situation.
