Shifu Cochran promotes a welcoming, encouraging environment where new students feel comfortable trying new things and stretching their limits. iIn the adult class he encourages more experienced students to work with newer students which not only solidifies their own knowledge but builds bonds between students and demonstrates to new students that they too can eventually master skills and become leaders. The children’s class is very lively and engaging and once again students are encouraged to lead the class through new skills to demonstrate their mastery. You’ll join for the exercise and self defense skills, but you’ll stay for the friendships and camaraderie.

I have attended the Carlisle Kung Fu Center at various times over the past 13 years. Now, all four of my children attend. It is a great school with a tremendous teacher and a wonderful community of students. It is a wholesome, encouraging environment that pushes people to do their very best.
