This gentlemen was awesome. Well priced for some saddlebags I needed repaired for my motorcycle. He had them done right on time.

They give old fashion service like back in the day.They make my shoes more comfoetable to dance on. And like new.Very reasonable.

After going to three other show repair shops to have riding boots altered, and having them want no part of a difficult job, I brought them to Trainis. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the gentleman who took a lot of time to measure my legs, and examine the boots, and how he would take them in. The service was thorough, very friendly, fast, and reasonably priced. I am unsure what the circumstances are surrounding other reviews, but I will refer this shop to anyone. My riding boots look and fit amazingly now, and the work was done so well, you cant even tell I had them taken in. Five star service!

I have been going to Traini Shoe Repair for many years. I have been absolutely thrilled with everything. He has done many repairs on not only shoes, but also my sons hockey goalie gear, saving me hundreds of dollars. I highly recommend his work!

The whole vibe made me very happy. Im a repeat customer. He does great work, hes cheap and its nice to support a local business. Highly recommend!

I went to pick up my shoes on the day they were promised(2.5 weeks after drop off) and they werent ready. They hadnt even been started. When I said I was promised theyd be done that day the owner rudely said you and everyone else. I thought his response was both rude and odd. He said theyd be done in an hour, but I was not going to be around then. Two and a half weeks for an hours worth of work that hadnt even been started. I went back the next day and the work he did was not what I was told would be done. So a $225 pair of shoes are ruined. I told him that was the last time(had been there previously) I would ever use him. Both his attitude and work, as well as his work ethic arent going to get him any new customers. I was extremely unhappy with both his attitude and work. Never again..

Very rude and unreliable. Went to pickup shoes but he had not even started on them. He then said they would be ready the following week. They were not. He then tried to somehow made it my fault. At that point I took my unfinished shoes and money and will find a more reliable repair shop.

Did absolutely superb repair work on 2 pairs of Bjorn boots and a pair of Bjorn shoes for my daughter. Did them quickly so she could pick them up when she was in town for Thanksgiving vacation. Not cheap, but worth the cost.

Needed black thread to fix my shoe. He had black in when I arrived and he did it right away. Very nice gentleman.

Told me it would be a simple job under a week and took three. Also punched HOLES in two pairs of $300 boots to attach a service tag. Offered no explanation or accommodation for the damage.

Unreliable. Local business, and seems like a nice guy. But I dropped of some work in November. Still wasnt done by early March, so I took it back (unfinished and untouched).

Did a great job repairing my leather tool belt. Also nice leather shoe laces for boots in stock in various sizes.

These folks know what theyre doing. Shoes I would normally throw away, they can make look like new. they may be a tad pricey but so worth every penny!

This was the first place when I google searched shoe repair. This shop is small and very busy. The owner is really get to work with. He is honest and still will repair your shoes even though the shoes are past their prime.

Slow and rude. Took 7 weeks to have an alteration done. Called 3 times and was told next week 3 times. Owner was rude and argumentative when asked for the shoes back as is. Charged 30% more than other places. Well worth the drive to Mechanicsburg to avoid this place.

Horrible experience here. I took my $200 riding boot to him because he said he has done work on the brand of boot before. After 6 months of waiting and not being able to get ahold of him, he finally admitted he “forgot” about my boot. It took 7 months to finally get my boot fixed. When I did get it back the leather was ruined from being folded up and sitting for so long. He refused any sort of discount to make up for the excessive wait or damage. Never going back again.Edit. It’s been two years since I took my boots to this business. I have not worn the boots since, long story short, I no longer have the ability to show (hence why I have not used them). They have been in storage in a climate controlled home in a protective bag for the past two years and have not been used. I pulled them out yesterday to take pictures as I have decided to sell them. The boot that had been worked on (it needed a zipper replaced) looks horrible. The stitching work is visibly uneven and loose, to the point that the leather has started to pull away from the stitching. So now, even though these are still a basically brand new pair of boots (in the sense that I never got the chance to wear them), because of the damage to the leather from being folded up (you do NOT fold tall boots) and now the horrible repair of the zipper, I will probably not even be able to sell them and get any portion of my money back at all. So I threw away the $200 for the boots as well as the money he charged me to “fix them”. I am beyond upset.

So far Ive tried to go there 3 times. All three times, the web site said they were open. Ive tried calling several times, no answer. For the past month, they have not been open.
