Stopped in to get my 29 checked out and tuned. Never expected to have it done while I waited. Ended up getting both my radios done while I was there. Dave and his better half are very friendly and super helpful. Great pricing, and very helpful in optimizing my antenna while I was there. I highly recommend !

Came in with 4 different radios, identified all the issues he could up front. Gave me an honest price up front for what each one needed . Got the cobra 29 tuned and in a couple weeks will get my grant over to him to get fixed as well. No complaints, good service and quality work. Would recommend dave anytime

I arrived and the tech was just finishing up on another costumers radio and benched my immediately and within a hour it was fixed.. Very detailed in his work.. Ill be stopping by again with another radio.

I have not actually been here myself. Ive talked on the phone with this shop a few times for information and radio help. The owner is very knowledgeable and will try to help you any way he can. I have multiple friends that have been to the shop and bought radios there. They all say the exact same thing. If you need a new CB or just need to have yours worked on. I highly recommend you stop in here if you get into the area. I promise you will be happy with the outcome.

Today was my first visit to see Dave. It was a very pleasant and educational visit. He is phenomenal with radios. He did my ranger 2970n4 top to bottom and installed echo. He also did my texas ranger super star 158fb4,plus I bought a stryker 447 while I was there. I got to here with my own ears how crappie both of my radios sounded to others. Then got to here the difference when he was done. The difference was out of this world. I highly recommend if you need a radio fixed or a new one take the time to stop and see Dave. Where to start? Dave stayed late to help me install new antennas, wiring and tune up my radio. He even taught me how to do it myself and we had a great chat about ham radio and now I’m looking into that! I’ll go out of my way to come here if I ever need any cb work done again. Called for hours and directions and Dave was beyond friendly. Wait time was minimal considering the new virus rules, he called out to the truck when it was our turn. He was very experienced, honest, and explained why he did what he did. Even with the antennae check, he still came in below his estimate and even gave a 30 day warranty on his work. I highly recommend DTB radio for your CB repair needs.

The guy is knowledgeable and I feel like he can do quality work. However I stopped in was having some trouble with my radio just wasnt transmitting as good as it could be. He did a bench check and said it was off frequency a bit and needed the modulation adjusted. He did the work radio seemed to sound better so I was happy. A week later radio started to develop some wierd issues. I would keybthe mic to talk and it was like trying to talk through a straw modulation was very suppressed and sounded horrible on air. Waited till ingot back home and took it to my tech who I trust. He took the covers on and said you paid for this s***. Dtb had replaced several components in the radio do not know why but he didnt even clip the leads off just folded them onto the board. Let alone that they were the cheapest eBay components. Horrible solder joints some had broke loose and others were actually bridging gaps. He almost cost me a good radio. Not a screwdriver tech but definitely not a tech either. I will not be back. Find a good tech and stick with him. Just bc it swings a meter or is loud doesnt mean its good. And if says I seen it on YouTube walk away.

Absolutely spectacular service. I actually had my radio worked on earlier today by the cb shop in new Paris Ohio. Paid what was asked and no results radio was still inoperable. Found DTB by accidentally clinking the wrong link and I glad that I did. He even closed at 1800 and came back because he knew I was on my way. Got my 98vhp all fixed and even checked over the rest of my setup to make sure I wouldn’t have anymore problems. I couldn’t ask for better service and prices. I would’ve paid double he’s worth it!! You can find cb shops but hard to find good ones!! Definitely a hidden gem.

Wanted my connex peak and tune and it sounded better when I found it on the side of the road in the mud. Now I go to Panama hes much more talented.

From a former truck driver: This shop is the best in our area. I live in Greencastle about an hour south of the DTB shop. They always sell great products, give great advice and service, and are willing to buy radios and other electronics.

He seemed eager to help but he charged me $20 for each antenna to turn the knobs on the firesticks. Peaked my Cobra 29 LX and added in a transistor to help my stock mic sound better. Overall great job but was pricey on the antenna. Also couldnt give me an idea how to lower my SWR that his meter read at 2.1, I would still recommend his shop to others.

Expensive, tight lipped, meaning, you have to already know what to ask because be will not offer to help you understand the work he is doing or what your radio may be in need of.I suppose his work is good, but the overall experience was tremendously lacking in customer experience. Ill mail my radios elsewhere.

I took my Stryker 955 in to get peaked and tuned because drivers were saying my radio sounded a bit off kilter. After getting the work done nothing seemed to change. Come to find out later that he turned down the modulation! Apparently, I am not the only one that has had this problem though. I have talked to other drivers and they have had the same issue after taking their equipment to him.After he Peaked my radio he went out and started rooting around my truck trying to get my antenna system tuned. Now, I dont expect a free ride from anybody but it would of been nice to know he was going to charge me labor on things I had no problem doing myself. I left feeling taken advantage of, spending more money than I wanted to, and a stunted radio.Try him if you want but I would not recommend.

Great little shop behind the sunoco, fast service for a tuneup. Explained the shortcomings of my partucular radio and suggested some solutions. Definitely coming back here when im in town.

LETS Get SOMETHING STRIGHT DTB IS NOT THE. GUY THAT WAS ARRESTED. The man arrested calls himself the radio man and works from his van at the flying j.Bought my stryker from the radio man . he peaked and tuned it before I received it and everyone said I was garbbled when I talked no matter were the mic. gain was set . he had the modulation way to high. I called DTB he has all the right equipment. Took it there he fixed it right up. The radio works great now . and to clear things up it wasnt this man arrested for rape... It was the radio man at the flying j. So get it right before you put something on line.

I purchased and a co worker purchased his cobra 29 with bigger finals..purchased late Oct 2014..used it 6 weeks ..put it back in my truck in late April. Started having issues with it about 3 months later. It was sent back at my cost . not fixed..got sent back a second time at my cost and still didnt work . 109.00 cobra radio ending up costing me 264.00..the radio shipped from him was 169.00..the shipping back and forth two times 60.00..finally a competent radio guy looked at it and saw the ground wire inside my radio was barely attached caused which caused another problem..for 35.00 dollars he went thru entire radio tighten ground and replaced a knob..a onecyear warrenty..said there was finals put in but sloppy work...BTW the other radio was sent back roughly the same time at his cost and said he blew up his finals..charged him to fix it and shop it..what really ticks me off these radio were used less then a year. We are seasonal workers the least you can do is stand behind your work..
