Went here for a cartilage piercing. I asked if I could do one piercing on top of another because I’ve been wanting it for a while. The woman told me I could get it. So she gives me the piercings with a piercing gun. I was fine with it, I’m 6-7 weeks into it healing and my top piercing is so swollen and painful I couldn’t even stand it. I went to Claire’s and the women in there felt so bad for me because of how bad my ear looked. They said the woman shouldn’t have even allowed me to get the piercings in the same day. Not to mention my top piercing is crooked and was pierced in the wrong spot. I’m not an expert, I don’t know these things or know where they’re supposed to be places specifically. I thought the piercer would have told me. Never going here again to spend the amount of money I did to get a piercing done incorrectly and have such a horrible healing process. Last thing, the earring I chose supposedly shouldn’t have been used. Once again, I don’t know these things, I was just choosing what I thought would look good. The top piercing was sinking into my ear and making the infection worse. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for piercing unless you’ve had a good experience before. Especially since the staff was brand new except for one person. This was in Carbondale, IL for anyone who thought about going here. Spend your money elsewhere.

Unprofessional piercing staff had no idea what they were doing. I got a double cartilage piercing and told them I had a bad experience at Claire’s before. One of the piercings is crooked and I am cleaning it everyday hoping it doesn’t get infected. I went here because it’s about 1/2 the price of a professional piercing place but it isn’t worth it. Waste of money and caused me extreme anxiety as the piercer was inexperienced and more nervous than me. Carbondale, IL is not the location to go if you want professional experienced service.

Be wary of being offered a monthly installment plan. There are minimum monthly payments and high late fees associated if you do not pay every month on a specific date and time. If your experience is like my experience, the sales associate will not mention any of this.
