When I was in high school I was staying at a nearby motel, touring SIU, and one morning we walked over to this cool retro looking dealership with nice new cars parked out front. My best friend and I spotted the newest mustang they had and started kicking tires. Then a salesman came out and let us start it up! We were clearly way too young to be looking to buy, he just knew we were car enthusiasts and wanted to see us smile. Great memory. Would definitely make the drive down the day I can afford a new mustang to buy from them.

I just bought a 2005 Cadillac Escalade today. I would recommend Vogler to anyone looking for a vehicle. The staff was excellent, they were willing to work with u. The salesman, Jesse Cochran was courteous and very friendly. He explained everything very well and got us in and out quickly.

The comments relates to the service department. When I call to schedule an appointment, I would appreciate that someone answers the phone. It seems the process is that I select a name from the list, leave a message then that person returns my call. This leaves me waiting for the return call. Just answer, make the appointment time..we’re done!

Business as usual. Was willing to sell my truck. Since they say there us a shortage. They were pleasant, but I felt low balled. They would give me 16, but probably sell it for 26 to 28. I thought no, I will just keep it.

Im actually from Minneapolis but while I was visiting my cousin in Carbondale, my tires got slashed! Greg was very reassuring with me and was prompt and swift in ordering a new set of tires. I got a vehicle from here about a month ago, the people were super friendly but at this point I’m not happy with the vehicle. It’s been one month and my cars battery warning light came on, nothing done to the vehicle. It won’t charge for whatever reason and the battery warning light is on, they’re suppose to do an inspection of the vehicle before it’s sold and I’m not sure that it was done with my vehicle… disappointed at most… I was told that I was going to get a phone call and talk about it but nothing…

I recently purchased a new Lincoln Nautilus from Vogler. Lawrence Nolan was the young man that took the agony out of trading. Lawrence is vey conscientious, hard working and pleasant to work with. I have worked with a lot of salesman over the last 47 years of excessive car trading and Lawrence is on the top of the list for sales reps to work with.I absolutely recommend you see Lawrence if you are looking or thinking of looking for a vehicle!

The sales team and department are phenomenal and I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to get a car, however the service department is lacking and depending on who is helping you is not worth your time at all. One man in particular is extremely off putting, so if you go make sure you ask for the tall thinner man (forgot his name) because of his excellent service skills! Getting an appointment normally takes 1 to 3 weeks, so if you’re worried about your warranty be sure to plan in advance. They have a big banner in the garage that says “no appointment needed” and they’re not currently doing that so there’s a little bit of false advertisement as well. I called yesterday to confirm my appointment and when I arrived today they told me that they actually rescheduled me for the 13th. This was my 3rd attempt at getting my car serviced. Luckily the tall man was around and heard my issues and he worked some magic and got me in. But by far the best part of the service department, is the cashier. She is such a sweet lady and always extremely helpful and friendly!

I decided to lease a new vehicle since my old car was over 7 years old. I talked to Kern Weshinskey at Vogler about leasing a new Lincoln. After examining the models available, I settled on the new Corsair. I am so happy with this vehicle! Great performance and a lot of useful amenities. The level of service I have received from Voglers has been and will be top notch! The great thing about leasing is I experience the best years of this cars life. I dont have to worry about fixing it, Ill be covered by the factory warranty, my lease is for 3 years or 36,000 miles and the Corsair comes with a 4 year/50,000 mile warranty. I basically just have to gas and go. In 3 years, Ill be able to get into another new Lincoln without having to worry about trade equity. Voglers is the best! I would also like to thank Greg Wilson for showing me how everything works on this incredible car!

I was very pleased with my experience at Vogler Ford. Jesse was very helpful and courteous. Jesse was able to help answer my questions and communicate with me in a timely manner. Jesse made the process very relaxed and we were able to feel confident in our decision. The only reason I gave a 4, instead of 5 star, rating was when I asked about the keyless entry I was told that the numbers were in the truck. I looked and looked and never found those numbers. When I asked, Jesse did tell me that they would be able to find those factory setting numbers for me if I brought the truck in and paid for them to search it. It wasnt Jesses fault that this happened I am just a little disappointed that I am having to pay for something that I believe should be given to a new truck owner.Jesse did a great job and if I come back to buy from Ford again I would I will look forward to working with him again.I am changing my rating to 5 stars. They brought me back in and gave me the codes for free and showed me how to program it. This was above and beyond what I thought. The people at Vogler are fantastic, especially Jesse. Jesse Cochran did everything he could possibly do to ensure my husband and I had a great car-buying experience. He answered our many questions, kept in close communication, and followed up afterward to make sure we were satisfied. The only reason I docked a star is because the battery of the car was bad, and we had to get jump started many times in order to make it back to the dealership. After bringing it back in, Vogler replaced it free of charge, despite it being used,, which shows integrity in this purchase. It has been over a week now, and the new battery has done great, and we have had no other problems. This is the kind of attentive service I have learned is not common everywhere.

Excellent service of the quality I have come to expect over the years, having purchased several vehicles from Vogler beginning in 1966 with a new Mustang. Most recently, Sales Consultant Joe Steimle, from whom I purchased a 2020 Expedition Max, went out of his way to assist me in getting the vehicle serviced by making the appointment, picking it up at my home, leaving a loaner, and delivering the Expedition. Now thats concierge service.

A particular Covid concern involves a staff member approaching me without a mask and proceeding to tell me about my car. I felt very unsafe and highly disappointed. I was truly in need of a vehicle that could get me back and forth, plus if I wanted to go to Texas and see my son and his family I could without break down. Worst car repair experience ever. When I got my car payment, it showed my car was in warranty. But few days later, they told me my car was not in warranty. I am stuck with mandatory fees. It was really expensive. It costed me thousands of dollars. It is compulsory consumption. It was not my fault. They should tell me whether my car was in warranty or not at first. But when I fixed my car and fewer days later, they told me have to pay thousands of dollars. In my suspicion, it’s totally a fraud.

Bought my first new vehicle from Vogler, a 2019 Ford Ranger XL SuperCrew STX. I worked with Joe Steimle and he never tried to push me into something I wasnt interested in or add options I didnt need. He went out of his way to find exactly what I wanted and kept working until he found it. If I could give more than five stars I would. Couldnt have asked for a more honest or hard working salesman. When I went to pick up my new truck they had just shined it up and had it waiting for me in front of the dealership. They went over all the details of the systems for me so I knew how everything worked before I left dealership. They answered any questions I had and were super friendly the entire time.The financing department was just as good. Answering all my questions and doing their best to beat the rate of my financial institution.Overall a great experience from start to finish!

After my Ranger was totaled I ask Greg Wilson to find me a 2020 Blue Crew Cab Ranger. After 5 tries at dealer trades did not work out, I changed to a 2020 F 150 Crew Cab. Greg did an outstanding try at the Ranger, but I am very happy with the F 150. Vogler Ford is a dealership I trust that trust has been earned through theyre work.

Lawrence was an amazing guy to work with. He sold us a 94 Jeep and made the deal smooth and painless. Even if I would have never bought anything I would still highly recommend him to any. Who knows l may drive another hour n a half to buy something else.

Between me & my husband we already bought 3 used vehicle from Vogler for the past 3 years and at the same time been using their service department for maintenance, repairs & parts on these cars. We were planning to make more purchases from them for the upcoming years but with todays disapponting experience with the service department we have to reconsider our options. He took his car in for service and they broke a spark plug off in the motor. So now a service that should take 4 hours & cost $750 has turn into 4 days repair which will cost more than $1700 and he end up not having a vehicle for work because they didnt provide him a loaner vehicle.**Update:Thank you. The problem has been fixed. We appreciate it.

Waited two weeks for an appointment with “ the best mechanic we have”. Dropped my truck off at 7:10 am. Called at 2:00 pm to check on status. Service department said they didn’t have time to look at it and probably would not get to it on the same day. Why schedule appointments if you can’t look at the vehicle on the day it is dropped off?

Scheduled an oil change at 9AM and we were still there at 11 it does not take 2 hours to change the oil and then when we asked about our car they said we have not washed it yet. Come on what were you doing for 2 hours? We will not be back.
