By far the best mechanics in town, and cheapest. They are honest, and perfect combination of cheap and thorough. After bad experiences at two other mechanics in town, which they fixed cheaper and easier than the others, I wont be going elsewhere.

The best! Honest, reasonable and knowledgeable. Ive taken our cars/SUVs to DAC for years now with different makes/models. Dave, the owner, and his staff are great. When I hear from others about what they pay to have their cars repaired and then the repair is done incorrectly, I am thankful to have DAC here. Highly recommend!

My first experience with DAC, but I found it to be a great place to take my older Chrysler 300M for A/C repair. My bill was less than estimate - Dave is a good, honest guy. All the gentlemen there treated me with respect. All-in-all a very good experience. And we now have VERY cold A/C!!!

There not too bright over there. I called Monday asking them if they do transmission flushes. The owner says yes. However, theyre booked until Thursday, so call back then. I call back Thursday to schedule the flush, and a new dummy tells me that they dont do them at all. How do you (or your mechanics) not know what services you provide! Theyre also extremely rude over the phone, but they magically get respectful when your face to face with them.

Went in for some used tires. Bigger guy got it all taken care of in a crazy short time. Definitely recommend if you need a set of affordable tires

Went to have my AC serviced. They supposedly fixed it. It went out again in under a week. 😡 He kept yapping the whole time how money solves any issue. It was super hot inside the waiting area to the point it was hard to breathe on a June morning.

They really stuck it to me on tapping out some lug studs once upon a time. If I remember correctly 120$ for two front tire studs and the funny part is it wasnt even an hour of labor and the studs are 3$ each. But it was on a Sunday and they were the only people open and I dont own that tool. Granted its not that much above other places or if thats just the sunday youre screwed service fee but anyway I wont ever be going there again. Get a quote and compare.

Dave himself is a very nice guy once you bring your vehicle to his lot in the beginning. He might tell you that he’s looking for parts one day and the next day he’ll tell you he can’t do anything for you unless he buys the piece and install it hisself. In my opinion he’s really not there to help make your situations better. Instead he wants to make his situations better off you. He’s not a man of his words, hes very unorganized, and when things are stresssing him out he makes the customers life ALOT harder.

Simply put, Terrible. The transmission on my car started leaking and I brought it here on a Monday around 3pm. I was told it would be repaired by that Friday evening, on Friday I was told the next Monday evening, and on Monday I was told they bought the wrong parts, installed incorrect hardware the transmission was still leaking and MAYBE it would be done by Tuesday evening. For better service try going to Clays in Du Quoin as that is where the rest of the auto shops in the area recommend.

Held my car for over a month! Did not answer any of my phone calls and did not try to reach out. Now they will not do anything for me. Poor customer service!

DO NOT take your car here!!!! They use old, broken down parts from resale sites to “fix” your car, you will be waiting for weeks to get your car back and it will missing nuts and bolts!!!! Save yourself time and money by going somewhere else.

The cost of repair is fair and you can get old replacement tires at good cost.
