Our audio system went out on our RV and we needed a mobile installation done before leaving on Sunday. Called on Tuesday and spoke with Keith who was extremely knowledgeable. He ordered our new system and on Wednesday Clint came out ahead of schedule to install. Clint did a quality installation. Mother in law borrowed our car and had our Key Fob replaced and when we got the car back the 2nd factory fob no longer worked. Went in and staff said only replaced the housing on the Fob. They wanted $65 to reprogram the fob so my wife refused to pay as it worked previously until they touched my vehicle. Said they tried to reprogram the key and it was locked out (doubt they really did anything). So I called out another service who came to my house for and had the reprogram done in less than 5 minutes with no errors or issues (Locksmith said call the professionals next time). I wouldnt suggest anyone go here if they cant even admit an issue and fix it without wanting more money.

Had 2 of my vehicles worked on here in one week. A new stereo installed in my daughters car, and a front & rear dashcam put in mine. Clean installs on both, and both jobs were finished quickly. Very happy with the work done by Auto Sound; and will be taking my cars back there when the time comes.

My experience here was a little disappointing. The pictures on google and the reviews looked promising. The store is clean and organized. But once I got to the counter to get some info on what I was looking for, they seem less than interested. He wrote my name down and number and said he’d write up a package for me. Week later and I haven’t heard anything. Instead I went over to Sound playground and threw down $500 on a new setup. I realize some customers (like myself) may look like I’m out “kicking tires” but sometimes they are not.

I had my windows tinted at this location today with a groupon and Im so happy with the results!! Not only is the work awesome, but the customer service was definitely a 10. I had a 2:00 appt, which I didnt make it to bc my prior engagement took way longer than expected, so I called and rescheduled until 3:30, which I also missed and had to call again and reschedule until 4, the very nice man who I spoke to, glen, was very patient and understanding with my untimelyness. I got a $300.00 pkg lifetime warranty tint for less than half the costand thats including the two little Windows on my back doors. Definitely an awesome deal cannot beat it. Frankly the customer service was atrocious. The salesman tried to sell me every part possible for the install including 3 different wiring harnesses for a simple install. Quoted the installer as having 25 years experience and when he called him out I doubt the guy was even 25... These people surely wont be touching my vehicle. And before the comment comes, I dont have the wrong place.

Auto Sound on Cape Coral Parkway. Yes; this is the right place that deserves 1 star before the owner responds saying this is a fake review or that you cannot locate my information in your system. Could not locate my info in your system when I called either. Explained that the radio they installed does not work and it keeps turning off. Guy who answered the phone quickly went on the defensive that its not their fault for the install when I was simply trying to diagnose & get the problem fixed. Seems to me that he must get customer complaints frequently if jumping on the defensive so quickly. Finally agreed to send a tech out for $100 but could not give me a date or time but promised this week. Now, hes stating it will be over 3 weeks before they can come out. Yes, its the holiday season but customer service is less than poor to say the least.

I can not explain how great of an experience I had here at Auto Sound Cape Coral. Glen and Jimmy are true professionals. I came in wanting to upgrade my entire sound system including adding a custom built in sub for my new Range Rover Sport. The team is beyond knowledgeable and trustworthy. They recommended going with an all JL Audio sound system. They beyond surpassed my expectations. This is the only place I would recommend.

I was on the fence between Auto Sound and the other audio store off del prado (i wont name it but im sure you can guess)..i didnt get good vibes from them, too pushy so I went back to Auto Sound and got a 12 sub installed and an amp. I was going to go with the less expensive Alpine but Im glad the dude talked me into getting the JL Audio. Perfect sound for what i wanted. For the amp i went with the Clarion. Dropped the car off, went across the street to big johns plaza to eat & have a drink watch tv. Went back couple hours later and the install was done. Clean install, good service. (also the install/labor was 30% less than what the other place qouted me). Glad i decided to go with this place.

I chose to upgrade my trucks sound system. As soon as I walked in I was greeted, Glen took the time to hear me out and advised to start with adding subs and see if that would be enough for me. A few weeks later I came back to get a new head unit and replace the OEM speakers with JL quality speakers. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they walked me through the whole process as well as answer any questions I had along the way. Their customer service is amazing and are extremely professional, I highly recommend going to Auto Sound for all your auto sound needs.

Great in selling merchandise but not keeping to their word about the entire purchase. Their mistake will cost me more money. No! That was not the agreement when making the purchase. Now I am stuck with a radio that has less features than I already had.

Needed to get an extra programmable key fob for our car. Dealership wanted almost $400; Auto Sound charged almost half that price. We will be back to purchase a dash cam. Great customer service!

Had a great experience. Shopping for equipment and knew what I wanted, but didnt know the audio language. The staff was great. Showed me several options and explained each one. Led me right up too what I and wanted and then left it to installers. they said it would be great and it was. Not as expensive as I thought it would and I am one happy user of a new sound system which I can use and I love it. I highly recommend Auto Sound to anyone who wants a job done really right.

They seem reputable and from word of mouth, they were recommended.I did stop by the other place and even with being a family member of a friend of a friend to the owners daughter....wow....they wanted to take both my arms with the price they quoted!!Plus.......I can even tell that some of the reviews are bogus. A 16 yr old would not use the terms that were used in the review. And.....if you look at them....you can tell it was the same person doing them....by the way they typed and used ( ) in both reviews. Come on guys.....being competitive is one thing but being conniving is another. Learn how to play nice with others. My business is going to Auto Sound and not the other guys.

Happy with the selection of car stereo available at reasonable prices. Excellent quality and they applied the darker shade I requested. This business has been around for decades and have always had a good reputation.

I specifically told them I wanted a stereo with CD player. They installed the wrong one. The audio volume was messed up. Down made it louder and viceversa. The man is unfriendly and seems to hate his job. Avoid.

Ive had them install my stereo system on my boat and just last week a little sub in my truck. The prices are fair, the quality is awesome, and its always fun going in and talking with glen. Ive never had a bad experience here, and would recommend them to my friends and family.

On vacation we stopped in Auto Sound we had our remotes repaired and got a quote for a boat stereo installation. We are very pleased with both the remote repair and the quote we received. This summer when we are back we will have the boat installation done.

I had this shop do my 350Z and theyre doing my RX350 as I type this. I felt a real review was in order because it looks like a lot of the reviews are fabrications and BS. Theyve always been 100% professional and done excellent work. Theyre clear about what work theyll do, no surprises with the prices, and they stand behind their work. I dont know what else you could want.

Great experience. I had them install Sirius and Bluetooth modules in my 2006 Lexus (since the dealers price was 3 times their price) and for some reason there were some bad problems with compatibility. It took several trips (trying new components to get this issue straightened out), but they didnt give up until it was proper. Couldnt be more please with the service. Thanks Glenn and Steve

My 87 yo father had an appt. at 9, waited till 915, we left. Ive owned a business for 13 years, if I treated my customers like that, I dont think Id be in business long. So we went to extreme window tint on del Prado, was less costly, on time and very helpful.

I scheduled an appointment to have my car tinted and left work early on a Friday to have this done. Once there, I was asked a series of questions upon checking in and one of them was does the car currently have tint. My car in fact does have tint and I was looking to have it RE-TINTED. The gentleman behind the counter expressed to me that he would not be able to remove the tint and re-tint my car because of the time it would take and it would cost me more than the Groupon I had purchased. I could understand an up charge to remove the tint based on the Groupon, but if I called to make an appointment, why was this not part of the series of questions when scheduling an appointment? You would think to schedule a tint job the first question would be is the car currently tinted as this would change the timeline of the job. I drove 40 minutes for this appointment and to find this information out upon my arrival and check in I was completely disappointed and annoyed so i left. The gentleman behind the counter didnt seem to care much that he had set up an appointment and wasted my time without having what I would consider important information points to complete a job. Needless to say I am not going back and Groupon has since refunded me my money.

Had my 7 series BMW tinted and damage to the computer in the rear deck was done from the water. Thousands of dollars worth of damage, luckily it got covered under warranty. I would never have Auto Sound tint a car for me in the future. Do your research first, there are too many tint shops around that specialize in tinting, do reputable work, and have been around for a long time.

Avoid them, either sketchy or incompetent at best - possibly both. Went to have them tune my car audio system, simple for a pro right? Wrong! Nearly four hours later... During this time a speaker wire came lose while they had possession of my vehicle, probably because they had my sub shaking my car lose but heres the kicker - I had to argue with them that it worked when I arrived and it did. They wanted to charge me to fix something that wasnt broken when I arrived. After some debate and me threatening to write a bad review, they wanted to see for themselves what the problem was. To be fair, the wire was poorly attached and they attached it properly. During this debate, they made mention my amp was wired incorrectly. After I explained that it was installed by an extremely reputable shop in Sarasota, they suddenly dropped that issue. Its almost like they were fishing for more money and they were. I point blank asked this guy, are you the owner and all I got was Ive been here a long time. Nearly four hours, new door panel rattle (super happy about that) because they didnt attach it correctly and a car stereo that sounds way worse than it did prior to bringing it to Auto Sound, Im out money, time and in worse shape than when I arrived. They get a zero star because they did not do what I paid them to do and I will not trust them with my vehicle again.Love the snarky response from the owner. Exactly my point! I paid them to be professional and tune my system which they are not capable of doing, period. If they were unable to tune my system, fine but dont take my money and say you can, when you cant. I came in so they would help me. The system is a Kenwood DNX 575s headunit, focal 6.5s, infinity 3.5, Rockford Fosgate P3 12 sub and a cheap amp that is proving to be ok. Ive located a real shop elsewhere that can be of service and suggest you do the same.

I had Suntek HP put on my car, looks great, my wife wanted new speakers and stereo with iphone hookups, so we had that installed as well. Both jobs turned out great and just as we wanted. Glen was a great sales guy, he helped us to pick out exactly what we wanted.

We installed a backup camera and dash monitor on our car, now we can see everything when backing up, now my wife wont demolish our bumper or run over the garbage cans. Great job, very nice store and staff.

Had windows tinted on two cars, gave me a discount. Also tried to fix the remote of one of our cars instead of making me buy a new one. They spend about 40 minutes on it but they couldnt fix it and they didnt charge me for trying (they would charge $35 if they could fix it). I also didnt purchase a new one so its not that they wanted to sell me a new one instead. The owner is very nice, they all are very professional and the tint looks good on both cars. Seems like the other reviews are other shops advertising their own business while tearing down this one. Totally uncool.

Brought in my car to have all the windows tinted did a great job except on the front windshield. I am leaving a 1 star because I took the car back to have it re-tinted a second time and when I pointed out problems I was told to wait a Day I even asked for a refund just for the front windshield to which I was told sure if you are unhappy with it in a day we will refund you. Next day looked just a crappy called up and was told the refund was off the table but it could be re-tinted. Thanks because after I had to wait 5 hours the first time for you to tint my car and 6 1/2 the 2nd time on “one window” it still looks like you you took a kids tool set to it bubbles scratches, then you blame dog hair in my car to causing the root of the issues. I pay a professional to do the right job of course mistakes can be made but 2 times and the window still looks terrible come on. The best part is when I bring it up I am told well we tried our best, what does that mean ? You want a honorable mention for trying to properly tint my car what professional says that? I pay for my tint to be put on properly and be clear like glass that’s the reason you charged my $480 right... I can’t handle waiting another 1/2 a day for you to make a 3rd attempt you are past the point of wasting my time. I have taken my car it to another tint store in Fort Myers that has higher quality employees who can remove your mistake in 2 hours and replace the film thanks for not only operating at the speed of slow but swindling me out of $140 on your incompetence.

Our speakers were sounding funny so a friend recommended Auto Sound to us, we had new speakers installed in about 45 mins and they sound great, while we were there we noticed they also sell overhead dvd players so we will def be back to get one of those installed.
