Nice people and very good job for mens haircut.

I always had longer hair like shoulder length but every time I tried getting it cut its always horribly wrong and I end up with a quarter the length and shaved sides all the time cause I guess nobody siccor cuts no more lol but I went in and said this to the Lady Angie who cut my hair she just kept asking what i usually like and how I keep it and thank whatever Gods u have to but I still have long hair after the cut and apparently layering is awesome cause my hair was getting fizzy and flat but just by the cut its so much more wavy and alot less frizz showing and all under 20 bucks so for me this place is awesome 😭👌

Stopped here several years ago as I was passing by. Nothing selective about it other than it was right there. They took me without having an appointment. I have long curly hair and it was perfectly cut. Ive never gone to another place since. Doesnt matter which of the stylists does the work - its always great. Call first. Since a lot of customers know about their quality, theyre always busy. Never a wait when you make an appointment. You wont be disappointed.

I was a walk in today and they greeted me and put me in a chair. Haircut was great and I learned about the other services they provide. I will be trying those in the future. Heather was great in making you feel welcomed to their place and not just another number. I will definitely be back as a regular.

Everything was good and the price was good. Big big concern: When I went in for my eye brow waxing they redipped the little stick that applies the hot wax. Im not a doctor but if a client they previously did had a small cut from getting their eye brows waxed(happens all the time) and some of their blood mixes back in with the wax because the employee redips the stick each time and the client had some some sort of std or sti that transmits through blood, Im worried it can transmit from person to person because the employee redips the stick. They really need to establish a procedure to use a new stick each application and not be stingy with their supplies. I dont think they realized the possible result of reusing a stick but unless stds and stis die immediately in that hot wax environment, whats preventing that transmission? Anyway it was a great experience otherwise. The place smelled so good and the staff were awesome. I would go again but Id have to require them to use new sticks each application.

Been coming here for a couple of years now. Theyre not like those quick cut places that leave you bland and neutral. They actually take their time in cutting your hair so that it fits your profile. And the shampoo afterwards just relaxing! It is more than those other McBarbars but worth it. Once you find the stylist that cuts your hair that makes you look good you wont turn back. Never had a bad haircut.

Best hair cut I’ve ever had. Caroline took so much time to understand what I wanted and even gave me great tips on how to grow my hair out after the cut. Small (which I love) and extremely personable experience. Highly recommend.

Im never picky about my hair. Im lucky and its easy to work with and always winds up styling fine with a little pomade (or nothing.)I dont pay much attention to my haircuts and am always happy with what I leave with regardless of where I go. So the service is usually the most important thing to me when I do get a haircut. Ive gone to the same chain in my neighborhood for about 10 years because its the cheapest and have been satisfied other than some customer service issues a few times over the years. And for the other approximately 25 years of my adult life I had gone to cheapest and closest to where I was the moment I needed it cut.My wife told me to go to Madhatters because she had a coupon. It happened to be a Saturday and I was actually pretty far behind on my haircut and it needed to be done. I stopped in not knowing they do haircuts by appointment as a rule. I thanked them and was going to probably never return because after I got my hair cut somewhere else, I wouldnt be due for my next until after the coupon was expired. That was a thought I had, not something said out loud as an angry/upset customer.Before I could leave, the lady behind the counter asked me to hold on a moment, spoke to a couple of the stylists and told me if I didnt mind waiting a few minutes, theyd get me in. I was in a chair within 5 minutes. I then proceeded to get THE BEST haircut I have ever had. The lady who cut it, Josie, was awesome. She was professional, polite, funny, perfect amount and level of conversation (sometimes they get real deep and personal with their own things or the things they ask about their customers, which to me is incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional.) AND she gave me the best. damn. haircut. With a coupon! When I paid the discounted price I asked how much it was normally and to my surprise, for a basic cut like I got, the regular price is 1$ more than the cheapest chain. Im an established customer now, have been back a couple of times and so happy I started going here. I never thought I cared all that much about my haircuts until now. At 46 years old Ive just come to appreciate getting a quality haircut by a professional. Ill be going back as long as theres hair on my head.

Did an excellent job on my sons back to school fade! They were extremely busy but still managed to fit me in on a last minute notice. They were very personable and friendly and very professional. I was very satisfied with their customer service and hair cutting skills. It’s been very hard to find somewhere to take my 6year old son that will do a good job and are friendly. My husband likes this place too. He always has a hard time finding someone that does good fades and really likes this place. Highly recommended!!

The Maddhatter Mens Hair Salon is great for all ages. The prices are great and I felt like she took her time with my hair. This was my first time getting my haircut, but my family has been visiting this location for years. Everyone feels like family here!

Ive been twice, with two different people cutting my hair. I have never found two people in the same shop that I am happy with, ever. Both were friendly and did an awesome job. I echo the comments made by others earlier that you feel like a regular from when you first walk in the door. Ive received awesome service on both visits and plan to keep going back.

Better make sure theyre there early, God forbid you are running 8 minutes late for a haircut that only takes 12 minutes and they tell you dont bother coming in

Always friendly, they called my son by his name hey Sebastian, hows it going the first time we went like he was a regular. My son had a terrible cut from another place, and Angie gave him the best cut of his life. I started sending my husband and son. They always try to accommodate the double appt at a time that is convenient for us. When Angie wasnt available Caroline did an amazing job as well!

I would give them 5 stars plus if they werent Yankees fans! But seriously they do a great job and are consistently good. We are repeat customers. Go Red Sox!

The absolute worst haircut I have ever had. I never before today told someone to stop cutting my hair. I even showed a picture to the girl of how I wanted it cut but still she messed it up. After she stopped cutting Nicole came over and tried to make my chop job better but she couldnt fix what her co-worker screwed up. I would only recommend Nicole.Thank you Nicole for trying to fix it.

The awesomeness of the staff is only surpassed by their expertise of being barbers. They offer a hot towel for your face during a shampoo which is a nice, classic touch. Bring Kevin home-baked cookies and sweets!

Place was awesome. Loved that you can make an appointment get in and out. Helps alot when you have a 3 year old. My 3 year son loved it. Both barbers for me and son where great. My first salon also, the word salon made me apprehensive because Ive always used regular barbershops. After the first visit I was sold. Have not been anywhere else since. They take appointments or walk ins, provide beverages, sports tv, semi privacy with curtains at each station, and beautiful women barbers. Hot face towel and shampoo are free with every cut if you want it. highly recommended.

Came with my son at 2:45 pm and a young lady told me they were closing and I had to come to another barbershop. Business today do not care about customers 🙄. Happened Saturday Oct 26/2019. I dont recommend a business like this to anybody and of course is the first and last time I visit this place 😡

Just went for my first time. Never ever again!!!! Woman at the front counter told me their next opening would be at 5:30. When I came back she said “I told you our next appointment was at five. I said no you told me the next appointment would be at 5:30” she then proceeded to roll her eyes and said whatever. This is inexcusable and if she worked for me would’ve been fired on the spot.

Owner/Manager is arrogant, doesnt treat employees well, shows frustration in front of customers, not really willing to do anything extra to help customers. As far as haircuts themselves, been here 3 times, messed up the first one, let them have a second chance (got a good cut), went back the 3rd time (messed up again).
