I decided to cancel Allstate and go with another company because even though I’ve been a customer for years (no accidents, tickets, and direct debit) my rates kept increasing. Not only did it take multiple and I do mean multiple phone calls to cancel, today (4/26/2021) I get a letter from the DMV stating that both my license and my husband’s were going to be suspended due to not having insurance which is crazy because you have to provide the new insurance information before you can even cancel. I canceled Allstate on 2/12/2021. Had this letter come a days from now it would have cost $300 to reinstate our licenses. I would never recommend Allstate or this agency. Complete and utter incompetence all around!

I have always had pleasant, and efficient service at the Pickett agency.

I have been with the agency location when Peter owned it over 21 years ago. I have never met Mr. Pickett. Accordingly the rating depends on whomever the assistant is and their mood when I have had one of the unfrequent interactions.

I chose this agency because of the suburb friendly professional costumer service, great rates, follow through and knowledgeable agents. Do not recomend this place and insurance to even to my worse enemy!!!This place is extremely unorganized, unprofessional.. all they tell you is lies since the day you start your policy. They give you an amount of how much your policy will cost and tell you it will save money to do auto payments and then give you an amount with and without rental insurance!!! IS ALL A SCAM!!!!! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE.IN A PERIOD OF A YEAR THEY TOOK OUT $4000 OUT OF MY bank ACCOUNT. Without letting me know!!EVERYTIME I called to see why were they taking another payment out when my policy gets paid in full each time!! They always came up with an excuse of this money will go back to your account in a few daysBS it never did!!!.. and still the month after it was another issue and another issue and more money!!! I dont even have any accidents if tickets so I guess they are using my money for their payroll.And after I didnt renew with them, they now sent me a $35 bill to collect for not renewing and canceling my autopaymetns!! I guess they needed to pay their rent with my money.I WILL BE CALLING FLORIDAS INSURANCE BUREAU.PLEASE BE AWARE OF PLACES LIKE THIS GO ELSEWHERE!!

He compared like items of our AARP/Hartford policy to those of Allstate. He was most knowledgeable and understanding of what we needed. Excellent customer service. Ms.Carse hand held my wife and I through the auto policy to get the best rates for our needs.As bran new clients, relocating to Fla. from Wi. she then took time to explain to and educate us in what to look for, good and bad, within our home search in the areas. She also pointed out the benefits of owning a home with all the right structural upgrades that would help us with insuring the home correctly. WE will be choosing Allstate for this insurance too!!Edwin also explained to us how we can add value to our account by proceeding to insuring every aspect through them, including life insurance!!! Worst Customer Services Ever. I cancelled my insurance over the phone and they told me that I was all good. 2 days later they take $900 out of my account. told me that it will take over 10 days to get it back. They take money out of my account without my permission and cause my checking balance to go low. No one at the office was any help.

The agent, Edwin, is very insulting. I had an auto insurance policy with this agency, which I canceled because I found better pricing elsewhere and he insisted that there is no way I got the same coverage I had with the other company and that I wasnt making an educated decision on the changes I made. Then, I began to cancel an additional policy I had with this agency and Edwin continued to insist that I continue business with him and that again, I was not making educated decisions. While the office staff, Dayana to be exact, is very pleasant, the agent is total opposite.
