I had an appointment for 6:30, at 6:45 I was still waiting in the waiting room and I had to come out to the front desk and remind them I was still waiting to be seen . She ended my 50 min massage at 7:32. I came stressed and in pain and left stressed and in pain , idk if it was because I was the last appointment but I had a horrible massage, I was so excited to come in and relax, I’ve been so stressed taking care of a sick baby for the last 8 months and I finally was able to get a break and come in and I wish I didn’t, she massaged me with her elbows mostly and hurt me and I had to keep telling her it was too hard , the places I specified I would like her to spend more time on for some reason she did the complete opposite, for example my feet have been killing me , she barely touched my feet even after specifying that’s one of the areas I would like more time on, never even rubbed my neck and my neck is full of tension, I am still in so much pain and it was a waste of money and time and I will not be going back ever .UPDATE: Jackie the manager reached out to me and offered me to come back in and have a massage with Janet and she was wonderful ! That’s what a massage is supposed to feel like ! Janet was great and I would def see her again for a massage , and thank you so much Jackie for reaching out and making this right and fixing it !

Very disappointed!! Asked for only certain areas be massaged, and did not get those areas massaged. I explained how my feet were hurting so much yet didn’t get my feet massaged.

So, I had gotten a massage last Friday. I did not have a good experience. One of the representatives (Lavonna) had called me shortly after I had expressed my issues with her and on a review (here on Google). Before she had even called me, she had asked me if there was anyway the issue could be resolved. I was so frustrated that I said no and that I honestly just wanted to leave. When she called me she was very kind and asked me to come in for a complimentary massage. I agreed because I really wanted to start getting massages every week. She got me in the following Monday (today) and what a world of a difference! My massage therapist (Camilo) today was incredible. He actually took the time to focus on problem areas. He consistently asked me if the pressure was good enough or if it was too much. He was professional and did a wonderful job! I was so happy with my experience that I signed up for a monthly subscription and have already booked my next two appointments with enhancements, more time, and with body stretching as well as a facial. I highly recommend Camilo!I appreciate the care and time that the representative took to call me back, book my next appointment, and how informative she was. Her name was Lavonna, I believe. I highly recommend working with her for any needs that you might need addressed. She was entirely patient and kind with me.I highly recommend Massage Envy because they took care of the customer and made sure that I was not unhappy with my next outcome.

Due to a medical issue where I can no longer receive their services, they have continued to debit my bank account monthly. Unfortunately, there is nothing contractually they can do to prevent that. Upon speaking to Management, she was inconsiderate, and not willing to work with me, let alone express any compassion.•I would advise future clients to NOT sign any contracts and pay as you go! We never know what life throws at us sometimes, and its disheartening that businesses such as these are not considerate and pretty much SPEAK AS IF IT WERE SCRIPTED.•Extremely disappointed with Management. AGAIN, I would highly discourage future clients to sign any sort of contract.

I’ve had plenty of massages at the Cape coral of Santa Barbara. They’re all pretty consistent. Mary is very good cheese when I see the most. She’s very thorough and she takes what she does very serious. Once in a while I’ll upgrade to one of the Roma’s or get a stretch and massage which is always nice

$50 for a 1 hour massage during the month of October?!?! Who could pass that up! Even though I was 30 minutes late as I went to the wrong parlor 🤦‍♂️ they accepted me anyways and still gave me Great, Friendly Service!.My therapist G Or Geo (Sorry man I forgot your name ) Was Awesome! Friendly & professional. Although at 1st it was awkward having a man rub my neck and back lol but after a few minutes I couldnt care less because he was doing a great job getting the nots in my neck and back that have been killing me for years! The next day I felt like a new man!! i definitely recommend asking for him when visiting Massage Envy On Santa Barbara i definitely will my next visit. I also felt They took my health and safety seriously as well . All in All i rate them a 5 out of 5😁👍

Gerdy was my therapist and I would highly recommend him for his skills and knowledge. I was very lucky to have had my first service at this location recently and it was such a positive experience that I wanted to share it. The entire experience at this clinic was very professional and relaxing. I entered to a smiling front desk staff that very professional and helpful. I had a service with Azalia that included the aroma therapy that was suggested by the front desk. Excellent recommendation. The massage was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend This therapist. The room and the entire clinic was super clean and the overall atmosphere was amazing. It was Obvious that the management team At this facility takes a lot of pride in there work and it made the experience incredible. Also. They have an excellent wellness membership plan that I would highly recommend as well !!!!

Worst customer service. We did not want to auto renew our account. I submitted the paperwork and of course it was not recieved in a timely fashion. They still continued to charge me. I had the charge blocked. We had 3 credits and now we are unable to use them. So if you want to be talked to like a piece of garbage talk to their assistant manager. Lets see if my message is ever returned from the actual manager.

Great experience! Only complaint is that if you do the membership there is a one year commitment but that is also a positive in our situation because we would wait until we really needed it and this makes it consistent. This location has couple massage rooms which is really nice! We got our first massage at the location in fort Myers which doesnt have a couples room and was a little stinky. This location smelled fine and was clean. Our first experience they didnt massage my girlfriends calves which she put down as a problem area. They comped her massage and when we went to this location they took care of it and did her calves real good. We got our massage with Yanni and Yam? Both were excellent and both did excellent jobs. We booked again in the couples room and are looking forward to it! We pay $65 each per month for a couples massage (or individual)and have the option to get another for $45 each. We tried the aroma therapy and it was ok. I recommend bringing a cash tip which isnt required but the massages are definitely worth it.

This is a monthly membership type of massage spa. I have been a member for over 4 years now. Though you can walk in, i highly recommend booking an appointment. They are based out of Arizona and have franchises throughout the US. You can use your membership credit at any Massage Envy place. Great if you travel a lot or are a snowbird. If you like deep tissue, ask for Mary.

My husband and I have been members at this location since December 2016 and have nothing but great things to say! I think this location should have a higher rating. I feel as if most people tend to post negative reviews but many of us dont take the time out to post about the positive! The office staff has always been simple and nice--if I dont understand anything, I ask questions until I fully understand--and theyre okay with that. As for my massages, Ive only had Holly for over a year now. Shes not just a great masseuse but shes also a great person. Whenever I go in to see her, it feels like Im catching up with a friend! When I first started seeing her, I was worried it would be painful or that Id hurt for days--thankfully she started off very gentle to get me to this point where I can handle tougher massages. Now theyre a life-saver! She also gives me continuous advice on relieving some of my on-going aches and pains. My husbands masseuse unfortunately doesnt work there anymore but hes had about 3-4 different people over the past year and never says anything negative about any of them! We know a handful of friends who are also members and never have problems or concerns either. If youre questioning whether you should go or not--GO! You owe it to yourself!

My daughter purchased a gift card for me and scheduled an appointment I was not able to make the appointment time when I called to cancel I was told that I would be charged 50% of the gift card. The lady on the phone Michelle was very unconcerned and not even interested in helping me. This was to be my first visit here. I couldn’t be more disappointed.**** update....they did not charge for the cancellation. Thank you so much and I look forward to finally using my gift.

I have been a member of Massage Envy since 2009 since moving to Florida and trying various therapists at this location. I have not found a single one who I consider good much less great. I have notified management many times. They have had me try numerous other ones again not happy. I have tried to cancel and not lose my prepaids or come to an amicable resolution with them on refund or use. All to be ignored. I was so happy and had the same therapist for years in my prior state. As a business person I would go out of my way to resolve things in an amicable way rather than send someone to this avenue to write a bad review about a business but since they do not seem to want to resolve amicably I have no other resort.Massage Envy has had and currently has multiple Class action lawsuits against for its deceptive practices, but as these are franchises, they can make their own decisions to resolve things. I never paid any mind to the lawsuits up until I moved to florida 2 years ago. I was so happy with my prior franchise and the owner of my other franchise made sure his clients were happy. If you are unhappy I would call CORPORATE you will get a better result!This is the worst business I have ever dealt with !!

Very relaxing place to go. I would suggest finding a massage therapist you like, and see them regularly. They get to know all if your kinks etc. They are all different, but some go deeper than others for deep tissue

Good company. I have the monthly subscription which is a bit cheaper than walk-in. Each month I treat myself with a 1 hour massage. Additional massages are cheaper with the membership. I always get deep tissue and appreciate the skill and professionalism of the massage therapists and the staff.

I have been in several massage Thai, luxe and envys locations all over USA, and I know the difference between a poorly, proper and excellent massage. That day I was in Cape Coral, fl, close to the Santa Barbara location for a work meeting and decided to get a massage before it. I found Massage Envy number on google and checked out their Facebook page before calling them. It was very easy to make an appointment over the phone. I didnt select any massage people but I was recommended to Gerdy because I like deep; and was told they all cost depending the timing so, I just need to select the timing session. Other massage studios will price a deep tissue higher than a Swedish, so pricing by the hour was immediately a better option.I had a very satisfying, unique customized 90 min massage. I feel the deep tissue tension, but this therapist techniques was variety of deep tissue, Swedish and trigger points combined with stretching and vibration and a lot of kneading. He made me temporally forget the pain I had. I dont really know how, But it was amazing. I felt a little sore that night but next day I was like a feather. The therapist name is Gerdy I would definitely go back and request you thank you.

The reality is, this place isn’t cut out for anyone with any sort of ACTUAL skeletal-muscular issues. the therapists are ok, but i’ve never come away from an hour massage** (it’s actually about 40 minutes after they get done and let you get dressed) feeling better for more than a day. i drink my water and avoid sodium blah blah they’re just not that good. cancellation is a nightmare and everything has an additional fee added to it. i wouldn’t suggest this to anyone. just save your money and see an actual therapist.

I never leave negative reviews- this is actually my first one I’ve ever written, but I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience.I made a last minute appt online at 9pm last night bc I had some knots in my back. My husband told me afterwards that he had a real estate appt (which he never does on Sundays) and we have 2 small children, so I called first thing this morning to ask to move my 3pm appt. I was told that they’d charge me 1/2 of the service price bc I didn’t give 24 hours notice. I scheduled 13 hours ago. I wasn’t trying to cancel, I just needed to move the appt. They can keep my $65, and I won’t be rescheduling or referring them any business.

They ruined my Valentines surprise. I made an appointment for a couples massage that I later had to cancel do to work. Before I could call back to reschedule they send my boyfriend a message asking if he wanted to cancel his portion of the massage even though he had nothing to do with scheduling it and I gave them nothing more than his name. I made it clear when I called that the entire appointment was to be cancelled not just my portion. Whoever send that message or made that policy has no common sense or is just plain greedy. Customer satisfaction was not their intention. I would have rather been writing a review about wonderful service and an amazing massage but I didnt make it in the door.

Honestly I keep getting a bad taste left in my mouth time after time. They repeatedly keep recommending these excellent therapist who are great at deep tissue who have left me disappointed each time. Ive had 3 total who are clearly fresh from school and have no clue what theyre doing. Its frustrating the ladies at the front desk keep recommending obviously non experienced therapist. I received a call a few days ago the last therapist they recommended was no longer with their company and when I insisted on waiting for the therapist I enjoy to get back from vacation, they pushed and pushed until I tried someone else. It was a terrible massage. I go to check out and book my next appt and its blatant they have an issue with retaining staff at the front desk because they are all clueless and inexperienced themself. It took 10 mins to book my next appt and during that time another client came up and took the time slot I was waiting for. So annoying. There seems to be an issue with inexperience front desk staff and massage therapist at this location....

DO NOT**** sign up with Massage Envy in Cape Coral. My husband and I signed an “agreement” which the front desk stated that I COULD cancel and I asked more than once she said yes unfortunately people do and it will be fine. So we signed away. My first massage was okay, the second time we went I left with bruises all over and bumps on my shins for about a week. At that point I told my husband this is not for us so we called to cancel. The front desk again said that’s fine we apologize etc. months later checking my credit card statement I was billed three times after the initial two visits $120 each time, got a new card and somehow they billed my new card I asked the manager “Andrea” for a full refund because one we are moving and two it was a horrible experience and I was billed again after the fact. I cannot give my address out for various reasons and it is my right to conceal where I live, but they will not cancel without knowing all of your information because I’m sure to market to you in the future. Horrible choice on the managements end, and I will be sure to let everyone also know my experience in my personal life, I would never recommend this place to anyone, crooks!

I called the Santa Barbara location today (close to home) to get pricing on massages. Some confusion, however, we worked through it. The nightmare began when I used Their website to purchase an E Gift Card for my husband for Fathers day. I filled out the web-site form and submitted payment (which I must add, the notification came immediately to my I phone, that the payment was posted). Several minutes later (10-15) after spinning the screen displayed Web-site Unavailable. Here comes nightmare number two. Called the store back immediately, receptionist stated I had to contact the home office via 800 number, we cannot assist you here at the store . Number provided, does not say Massage Envy, the name has initials only (Not M or E) either, and the generic message states No one is available to take your call, leave a message and someone will get back to you, Corporate, really? I immediately called the store back to inform them, again receptionist seemed a bit confused. I asked to speak with the manager, receptionist said Ill get her for you but she will not be able to tell you anything differently than I did. When the manager came to the phone she stated almost the same information, however, stated I had to now send an email and wait for a response. How long I asked until get an answer? No valid response. I informed the manager not only had they lost potential clients, that I was going immediately to my bank (which I have) and filed out a fraud affidavit. Unfortunately, I did not have my credit card at work with me just my bank Visa. There was nothing wrong with their website, if so, the charge payment would not have gone through successfully.All of this information should be listed on their website. I truly feel that I have been defrauded, and my bank agrees.I am the General Manager for 4 very profitable business locations. Their customer service needs work and their interaction with their clients, whether current or potential needs to be 100%. Their main goal should have been to assist me, find my gift card and satisfy my true concern. Honestly, they could of cared less.

The therapist are great , but the front staff is a joke to the company ... I had nothing but problems with them. I cancelled my membership do to their lack of professionalism. Took my friend and my mom separate times to get a couples message with me .. they both wanted to sign up for a membership after they saw how the receptionist were they both change their mind about the place. They lost 2 membership.

If i could rate 0 i would. Therapist did not even show up nor did anyone in the building or office know he wasnt there. To make it worse no other therapist were even available. Enroll and use at any other location!!

Set an appointment online for prenatal massage and when I got there a few days later they had to cancel me because a glitch in their system doesnt show the type of massage that I had specified. They did absolutely nothing to make this situation right and I do not recommend this company for this reason. Very poor customer service.

Horrible front desk help!! I called to get an appt as a firsr time guest because i was in severe pain in my shoulders and needed it worked out. And since my husband loves it here i decided to go. Well i call and they tell me they have an appt at 830 pm and i said ok let me ask my husband to pick up kids. So i hang up and call right back and tell her i want the 830. She proceeds to say ok but let me look. So then tells me that spot is reserved for members only!! Ok so why not tell me that the 1st time when i called. But still i explained how much pain i was in and cant wait another day and id really like to come there since my husband loves it. She goes nope sorry theres nothing i can do youll have to go somewhere else..i mean she could have said hold on mam let me ask my manager to see if we could make an exception since your in pain and your husband is a member here. Nothing!!! I also said i would become a member just so i can come in and nopeeeeeeee sorry noone here to do paperwork!! Well this place lost money every 2 weeks that i pay someone else who fit me in the next morning !!!
