This gym is full of energy and great people. It’s very clean, has a nice area for personal belongings with a bench to sit on to grab a drink or put on your shoes. It has a shower in each single bathroom so there’s privacy. There’s a huge variety of machines and free weights, a studio area for non-weight workouts and huge mirrors everywhere they’re needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My trainer Amy is a godsend. I had a back injury that I hadn’t seen a doctor for yet before I started working with her. Amy designed a program to help strengthen my core but wouldn’t do more damage and would build muscle everywhere and help me lose weight. Nothing we did ever once made my back hurt. I was able to lose weight and build muscle with her. When I saw a surgeon and told him what we were doing he said I didn’t need a physical therapist after my surgery. Just go back to doing the program Amy made for me. This is coming from a top spinal surgeon in Denver, Colorado! She knows her stuff. I HIGHLY recommend this gym and the personal trainers there.

I go here because it is convenient. The machines work and seem maintained. It is mostly dirty but today it was disgusting. The toilets didnt work. And apparently at least one staff member knew.......... The water fountain is filthy and disgusting. The drain always has ickyness in it but today there was a blob of something. Since the location no longer has a cold water dispenser we are forced to use the fountain and the water is warm.

Generally very happy here. My wife and I have been members for about 2+ years. Lots of machines, equipment etc well placed in a relatively small area. Even when crowded, not very often, most clientele are friendly and courteous. My one complaint: the treadmill bases and some stationary machines as well, are filthy! Dust, hair, sweat. Nasty. Ive brought this up to the staff twice and it gets promptly cleaned but, there is no one that regularly cleans this. Seems easy to fix. On the other hand bathrooms seen to be well cared for.

Love this gym! Amy is extremely knowledgeable, highly motivated, and awesome to be around. She is a wonderful trainer. The gym itself has great equipment and friendly staff.

Not a bad gym but way to expensive. I mostly use the treadmill and they only have 4 so it was always a challenge to get one. And when I did it seemed like I always got the one with the broken headphone jack. I joined Planet Fitness and it is so much better for one fourth the cost.

I signed up for the 2 year membership so it would be cheaper per month. It is always very clean and has a great clientele.I dont have another gym that is as close out here in Canyon Lake so I sort of had to choose this one with myschedule. My only complaint is just the price. I used to live in New Braunfels and had a membership for much cheaper and was offered more. The equipment and cleanliness are awesome though. Only issue with me is the price but its not so high that I wont go. I do love this gym!

Ive been coming here for about six weeks now and Im pleasantly surprised. It is not the biggest, nicest or best equipped gym Ive ever been to, but we are very lucky to have this place up here or we would be driving back and forth to New Braunfels or San Marcos a lot. The fees are very reasonable too. I find the place to be quite clean compared to some of the other gyms Ive been to. The staff, especially Brady the manager, works very hard to keep it so. I wish the water coolers made cold water and the elliptical machine on the far end could get some attention from the Precor mechanic, but thats the extent of my negative comments. The clientele is generally made up of good people too.

Best gym in the area. I like it a lot better than the New Braunfels and San Marcos locations.

Always dirty. Never see the cleaning lady actually cleaning just walking around talking to members. And I’ve come at all different times of the day and it’s the same thing whatever time it is.

We have been trying to cancel our memebershop for over a months and no response. Finally make an APPOINTMENT and no one is there. These people rob you and have no business running a gym. Youre better off anywhere else but here

Ive never been to an anytime fitness that I would rate better. The staff were awesome and really made my experience worthwhile.

Obviously Im not the only one who came to sign up during business hours and could not get in. I understand that once your a member you have a key to get in, but when the hours say someone is available from 9am-7pm then you should follow through with the business operating hours. I would give no stars if I could.

If I could, I wouldnt give this place a one star, but that isnt an option. We are owed SiX MONTHS worth of membership dues because they have continually charged our account, even though we cancelled my husbands membership. Ive dealt with three people, with a promise that it would be rectified, and I find out that once again the my American Express was charged for ANOTHER month. Whats funny is that we pay through Blue Cross Blue Shield ALSO!!!! People need to be fired from this place. However Brady the manager is fine young Man who unfortunately is having to attempt to clean up a mess that is out of his control.10/18/17 - To add to this review we had a call last week from them stating that they have figured our how to cancel the duplicate membership (we shall see) but they will be unable to refund the duplicate charges! This is an amazingly dysfunctional company. After my wife expressed her dissatisfaction with that answer, they called back and said they will cut us a check which we have yet to see. Now, Im assuming due to the cancellation of the membership my electronic key to the club wont work and I have to knock on the window to get in each morning. If there was another gym in this area Id certainly use them. Heck, maybe Ill open one up just to give them a run for their money :) . So the saga continues, Ill add to this review soon, whether they rectify this situation or not. If this linger too much longer my next step with be the Attorney Generals Consumer Protection Division. I imagine Im not the only customer that they are messing around.10/18/17 update - Brady the nice young man who is the Manager called me back to fix my key tag issue. Nice guy who walked into this at no fault of his own. He is trying his best.UPDATE: Upper management at AF finally reimbursed me for the amount overcharged for 6 months. Irregardless of my issues with this companies corporate entity (as in my opinion they suck), this Anytime Fitness location has a fine manager and Amy the head trainer, is one of the best Ive ever seen at any fitness center. Anytime is the only game in town if you want to work out in the Canyon Lake area. Id still recommend them but I urge careful examination of their monthly dues if you are a current member or someone about to join.

I stop by this location a few times a year when I visit family, it has always been clean with really friendly staff. Definitely recommended to anyone who lives in the area!

Air conditioning is constantly not working. If I wanted to workout in such conditions, I wouldnt need to join a gym.

This Place obviously does not want buisness. I went during normal buisness hours to sign up (Im new to the area) and all doors were locked and everyone stared at me through the windows.
