This place is a treasure! Excellent work, reasonable prices and quick turnaround on even complicated jobs. I highly recommend. I just had a few minor, but complicated alterations that were urgently required. These people were friendly, masters at their craft and all done quickly and for a very reasonable price. I took my wedding dress to be altered and not only did she only do half the job, she argued with me when I said I wasn’t happy. She also still charged me $200 for only doing half of what I asked. On top of the $200 I paid to have my dress fixed and finished. Save yourself and don’t go here.

They did a wonderful job taking in my husbands suit jacket! It fit really big on him and they took it in and it looks great! Cant tell it had worked done on it, the seams are flawless! Thank you!!

I looked and looked for a total professional tailor or someone to do alterations to a suit, a few shirts, and a bunch of pants. The owner of The Golden Thimble is by far the best. Everyone I called said that they could not alter my shirts. The shirts that fit best around the waist are way too large in the shoulder and she had no problem taking in the top of the shirt. I will be coming back for more.
