Stayed there and enjoyed our stay. Convenient location to the boat ramp. Staff was helpful and the area was clean. The cabins were as expected. Cozy and the right size for 2 people and my 2 small dogs. Would recommend staying here if you want to be within a 2 min drive to the lake.

Terry and Donna were so great. Stayed 2 nights in the cozy cabin and its cozy alright. One little suggestion, in the corner where the shelves are by the TV, maybe put in a small closet with drawers at the bottom. But other than that I loved it and will be back soon

Its really nice, but a bit pricey. Beds were comfortable...the couch not so much. The downstairs view of the lake was blocked by some trees. It was great to see water conservation at work, and the tap water was tasty. The managers are very nice and helpful. Took care of all our questions and needs. Enjoyed our stay there, just wish prices were more reasonable for large families.

My family stayed there during the storm recently and it was wonderful, very warm and no water loss. Donna and Terry are always so helpful and just a phone call away if you need them. The service there is the best i have had any place i have stayed. I recommend not only during times like this but in general if anyone wants to find a place to stay at Canyon Lake. The cabins also look nice and the view of the lake is spectacular.

This place is just plan awesome. The cabins are so big inside. The property managers are sweet as honey funny and know what they are doing.

So far so good . Our winter storm has made life difficult for all south Texas. I was THANKFUL for a warm bed and hot water. Very nice here at Log Cabins At Jacobs Creek. Sadly more bad weather is on its way!

My family and I recently stayed here. It is very nice on the outside but the list of rules must of not been followed for cleaning or dogs. Our downstairs neighbors had yapping dogs the whole time and the floors were filthy when we stayed and their was hair in the shower. I feel like if your gonna have a list of rules make sure the cabin is at least clean. Beautiful view from the back. Just wish it was better prepared for us and parking rules were more clear. There was also dead ants all over the ground. The floor needs to be redone as well. The ac didnt really work in the first room either.

The house is very beautiful and the beds are comfy! Theres no fan ceiling but thats ok because its a log cabin! I dont know how it can get better!

This place was totally cool!!! My family and I had so much fun. Donna and Terri were so much help with all of our questions on how to get to so and so. Played volleyball and had a cookout.

These log cabins are the definition of cozy. With a full kitchen, pick nick tables and grills, and a short walking distance to the lake, this property has everything you need to relax while enjoying the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Kitchen comes fully stocked with utensils and dishes, and property managers are available to answer questions on site.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and freshly stocked with everything. Terry & Donna were very nice and answered any questions you had. We will be going back.

Excellent Experience!! I booked the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom family cabin and couldn’t be more pleased. Ciria and Billy have excellent customer service and were very helpful from start to finish. The cabin was adorable and very clean. We were conveniently located very close to tube rentals, parks, grocery stores and restaurants! My family will be back!

I honestly got that feelingThat they didn’t clean before we got there as we found a roach and the wood was covered in dust. Also the air conditioner water drips into the shower. Floors make noise as you are walking causing the downstairs tenants to get upset as well. Never coming back. Save your money and get an Airbnb.

I came here as a returning customer because like every consumer when they have great experience they return. My returning experience was horrible . Started off by finding a dead roach by the table and a scorpion in the kitchen I never brought it up because I was like no big deal we are in the country and in a cabin. Ciria called me at 10 am the next morning after my first night stay requesting to keep the noise down because we were making to much noise. I do admit that my 6 year old and 2 year old were running in the cabin at one point and being excited because of them not being out in a long time. I told Ciria that I will do my best in keeping the noise down but I was not going to tie my kids down and have them not move around the cabin at all especially after paying 600.00 for 2 nights. We got back to the cabin at around 5:00 pm and the tenants down stairs kept banging on their ceiling which was our floor since we were on the second floor. I called Cidia and told her what was going on I never once confronted the bottom tenants because I did not want any issues, I came down here to relax, the Managers talked to the bottom tenants and the bottom tenants said that we were up all night which was a lie since we went to sleep around 11pm the first night to get up early and hit the lake. Pretty much from this point on we kept hearing knocks every time we walked around the cabin which was getting so annoying causing my wife and I to have an argument regarding our frustrations. when I reached out to Cidia I explained my frustrations and wanted to leave the cabin ASAP but Cidia said since check out was at 11am with all the fee she could only give me back $100.00, so pretty much she said you can leave and get the 100.00 back only or deal with it. Cidia has no compassion and did not offer a Solution at all and I told her I would write a review regarding this, all she said was pretty much do what you got to do you are not going to find anything on the lake right now. Basically FU. We pretty much were stuck there because we had no where to go and I was not going to spend more money after what I had spent already. Through out the stay was so uncomfortable with the bottom tenants harassing us and even made it Awkward when I was grilling outside. Cidia texted me the day of check out and mention I could stay an additional night. I texted her back stating if I can redeem the offer another time and she never texted back. I mentioned to my wife what she had texted me and my wife does not even want to come back here even if it was free. They really need to mention that the floor squeaks instead of trying to make a sale. If she would of told me that the floors are noisy on the second floor and I had to keep my kids from walking around Then I would of taken my business else where. This is my first review that I have ever posted on any business and Ciria allowed her feelings get to her instead of offering a solution right away. She has no business in running these type of businesses when her customer service skills.

This was truly an amazing place to spend our vacation. These cabins had everything we needed including amenities, clean water, clean linen and was very clean. We spent 3 days there and we were so impressed we wanted to stay another 3.

Location, location location, now I know why Canyon Lake is the recreation capital of Texas,, its beautiful and the accommodations were more than I expected, cant wait to come back... most beautiful sunset over the lake my wife and I have ever seen,, A definite two thumbs up...

We had a third car and didnt know where to park it. The lady came and told us to move it under the tree, another lady was fussing. Then another man who works there showed up and told us to move the car, that we recently moved, with a naggy attitude.They rooms were smaller than we thought. Also the floors would wake up our roommate from the creaking.

The cabin was great! We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin the. We had 8 people in our group and everyone liked it. Inside it felt like we had tons of room to move around. We did have a problem with the A/C but they got someone to fix it in a timely manner. Armando went above and beyond trying to accommodate us while the A/C was being fixed. Sound travels from cabin to cabin, so we could hear our neighbors but it wasnt too bad. Great location! Only about 5-6 minutes from places to rent tubes to float the Guadalupe. Also close to a day park where we also went swimming. Inside the cabin we had pots and utensils to cook or gill which was very helpful when we got hungry. Overall we had a great time at the cabin and would definitely recommend and stay again!

Good location for tubing. Loved that we could get shuttle service to and from. Was relaxing and quiet other than weekend traffic. We stayed in the duplex so we had a nice wrap around porch to hang out on. Grilled steaks and played cards with friends late into the night. Great relaxing weekend away from the city but close to amenities like grocery etc.

Our cottage was the Cozy and it couldnt have been any better. The room was clean and cost just the way its named,our stay was quiet our evening peaceful and the view was outstanding. I called the same day to book my two night stay and the young lady that answers the phone was so professional and helpful, I had a room ready writhing 15 minutes of my call. The cottage was So close to the lake it took 3 min walk to get there. The manager that received us when we got there was very helpful in showing us around and assuring us that if there was anything we needed we could call him at any time, which was great to know. We drove to three different parks around the area and I have to admit they were all a perfect 10. You can find clean restrooms, grills and tables in each park. I will definitely be back with my kiddos next time 💕

Great place beautiful view. loved the cabin and cabin set up. only reason why I didnt give 5 starts was because I could hear every step the people upstairs took and was not able to sleep much since they were getting pretty busy and loud at night and we could practically hear everything.

The location was great because it was very close to stores, restaurants, and a lake. The rooms where very comfortable and the workers made me feel welcomed. It was a very nice place and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to go on a relaxing vacation.

Hoping to get out of Austin for the night during SXSW and Spring Break and planning to go to the outlet malls in San Marcos we stayed at the Log Cabins of Jacobs Creek. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the cozy cottages. Being able to get away from the bustle of the city, drink a glass or two of wine on the front porch watching the lake as it lightened at sunset, and just get away was an appreciated recharge Ill not soon forget. The staff were helpful while staying out of sight, the lodging was everything advertised, and there were enough things nearby to give anyone something to do.

Love it! Everything from the full kitchen (everything from a ladle to a dough roller), clean, clean, clean bathrooms, enough space to sleep 10 people, a view that is life changing, access to the boat ramps, parking on site for our car and a boat, wonderful customer loyalty, and an affordable price! $250 deposit up front. A very unwelcoming set of rules posted to the wall with very excessive nomenclature despite having cheap and very minimal amenities. You seem to be treated as a bunch of unruly college students before you even arrive.No hot water in the shower. Must bring most things with you, toilet paper, towels, useful utensils, ECT. Then when you leave, you are expected to clean everything spotless. Sweep AND mop. Then your room is inspected by the on site property manager before you leave.The poor hospitality level makes you feel as if you dont belong and are unwelcome despite happily accepting your money.0/10 would never stay again

We stayed here for 2 nights and thought the cabins were very nice and clean. No problems with service. The person who was working there went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable on multiple occasions. The mattresses were not as comfortable as we are used to but we survived. Will stay here again.

Went to Jacobs this past weekend, July 17-19th, had a great time but the accommodations were not what I expected. The utensils and dishes in the cabin were dirty. The beds apparently had dirty sheets, how else could money be found under the top sheet. The water from the air conditioner dripped into the shower in the front room. Therefore the water kept the floor wet. There are no towels supplied by the cabins, and we had to use our own to sop up the water, which was constant.The neighbors downstairs partied until 430 AM. There is no one at the office to tell them that quiet time starts at midnight. Therefore we had to bear their loud music and language for hours. And then the management tells us the next day, you should have called the police. NOT. We were not there to put anyone in jail. Although the maintenance man was always there to help if need be, the office staff was not. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and will not be going back to these cabins.

Never again will I stay there it was a horrible experience, there is no sense of camping feeling here! Couldnt even make a fire, we stayed there and a storm came in we didnt get a hold of anyone until midnight so the whole day it was hot! I will never stay in another cabin again

Very nice cabins at a reasonable price. Close and convenient to the lake and a new Brookshire Brothers grocery store is about a mile away. No complaints, would definitely recommend.

Stayed here with my boyfriends family, it was neat, it feels like a cozy cabin. And if you have a room in the second floor, then you have a great view too.

This place is horrible! I dont know if the pictures of the cabins that they have on the web actually exist but we certainly didnt get one of those! The duplex that they had us in was nasty old smelled and had food in the frig.!!! Never again! When I got to town everyone I talked to said theyve heard nothing but bad things about this place. Dont waste your $ !

From the moment we stepped in, this was not a welcoming experience. The cabin has an absolutely mental amount of notes practically everywhere, including a whole page list of rules framed right as you enter the cabin. My favorite was the note saying you had to give them notice before you left so they could inspect your room before you leave, if you want your deposit back. For a place that offers such a mediocre experience, I was insulted.They provide you the absolute bare minimum, so expect to bring your own towels, soap and such. Even the Showerhead isnt adjustable so youll be cramming yourself in the corner trying to get a damn shower. The mattresses and bedding are frankly cheap and not comfortable whatsoever. While I personally still liked the view, it is not a view of the lake as described. Youll quite likely be driving to get to the water.TV is clearly a decade old, as well as the dvd player which legitimately still uses AV cables and has no hdmi options. No cable or anything on hand available to watch, obviously. WiFi wasnt even strong enough to use the chromecast we bought to just try to watch something on Netflix to relax in the evening. Considering the wifi name had no numbers assosciated, Im assuming the entire cabin complex shares the same WiFi bandwidth with each other.On top of this, multiple light switches just simply didnt work, or lamps wouldnt turn on. My only lighting option for my room was the light assosciated with the bathroom. Also, there is dust absolutely caked in some of the bathroom walls. If all of this isnt enough, there was a dead roach the size of my thumb in the bathroom as soon as we got there.Unacceptable.

The owners of this property are rude and disrespectful. The dishes were dirty, the maintanance beat on our door at 8am to tell us to call the manager.. He then beat on our door the next day telling us that we missed the checkout time, but that wasnt even our last day!!!! I had to show him an email stating that I paid for 3 nights, not 2! He had no record of it. And after we get home, we notice they charged us an additional $250.. We called about this charge and they said we were charged for being loud... SERIOUSLY!!!???? WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Not sure where the bad vibes exist, but my multiple personal experiences with the owners and staff of Log Cabins at JacobsCreek have been above par. It is .35 +/- miles to a USCE boat ramp, a little over 3 miles to the Baha BBQ Shack-Canyon Lake Marina and a quick 20 +/- mile jog to I-35.....just a few among many. These folks are running business. You must act like an adult when staying. I recommend all my friends, feel comfortable parking my Mastercraft ski boat, their toys with plenty of room. Give proper notice of a late check out and you can use their water to wash your boat.....a dying breed in current day hospitality enterprises. I stay here every chance I get.

You are absolutely right, I would not recommend this place but, if yall ever come back to the area, stay at the Still Water Ranch at Canyon Lake They offer great hospitality and they provide most everything you would need. Like towels, utincyles, clean dishes, soap, clean sheets, WiFi, quiet time at midnight, no mandatory check out times, entertainment, and a couple of really nice patio areas! Me and my family have recently gotten back from staying there a whole week and it was AWSOME! We enjoyed ourselves very much. So, if you are looking for a family friendly, fun, and beautiful place to stay while you are at canyon lake, this is the place for you. :)
