Great service from beginning to end. From the initial call to schedule a quote to the guys cleaning up before leaving everyone is totally professional. I would definitely recommend Davey Tree for any tree needs you have.

First off, shout out to Zach and the crew that came out!!! I desperately needed a giant tree branch removed that fell on top of my garage. I called Davey and the lady I spoke with was very cool and professional. The crew that came out did an amazing job! I’m more than happy with my service.

Davey truck shows up on the street to do utility work for DTE, no warning. Dont even want to talk to me but theyll be in my yard. Rude. Aggressive. Tell me what theyre gonna do like they own the place and Im nothing. Obvious to me they dont know what theyre doing around electrical wires.Another tree company (NOT Davey) comes to my door to tell me they will be doing DTE work in my yard in the next week, let me know when. Show me where, polite, discuss the tools theyll use and how theyll clean up. Guys show up on the day they said they would, are polite, have right equipment, do a great job, know what they are doing, really understand about working around power lines, clean up well. Did much more than Davey was going to do, itll save me from power outs in the future.I feel lucky Davey didnt do the work, it would have been a problem.

I had a truck parked in front of my house. The workers got out of the truck and set up lunch on my lawn. Before leaving one man urinated on my lawn my husband was furious. I did have any service done by them but for whatever reason they decided to park in front of my home. Ridiculous

We have been using Davey Tree services for our property since moving to Farmington Hills almost 5 years ago. We have 14 mature trees of different species that they take care of as well as treat our shrubs. We have fruit trees that they can treat organically so fruit remains edible and monitor/treat for problems on some other species before anything becomes an issue. Ive had the pleasure of working with Justin when we started and most recently we had to have a rotting tree taken down (2nd time since weve been here). In this instance I worked with Steve who came out promptly to assess situation while he just as quickly came back with quote (which was fair) and we set up for removal. The team that came out to take care service was fantastic; knew what had to be done, got to work promptly and clean up was thorough! I had Will as the foreman and his crew of Tyler & McKenzie. All 3 gentleman readily answered my questions and made sure we were happy before leaving the property. Davey has great customer service as well as superb teams in the field. We love them!

This company has well qualified employees that worked quickly and efficiently. There were no issues with the removal of a tree that was large and between two houses. Great job!

Davey Tree recommends the right fertilization and pruning for my little Tree. I love Davey Tree and would recommend them to everyone.

Arborist was punctual, knowledgeable and honest. He seemed to really care for the health of my tree. Their price for pruning was way cheaper than last company I used. But they said I needed to wait until tree goes dormant. So they just fertilized for now.

Left a big mess in my yard a big branch left in tree not safe called them three times well they came and nothing was done. They were contracted by edison

Recently, I phoned Dan, a Davey Tree arborist, to give me advice on pruning a young elm tree. He came to the house between jobs, and not only gave me advice, but lopped some of the branches that were beyond my reach. We have had trees pruned, and while some tree services hacked the trees up, Davey staff listened to and followed through on my specific instructions. We have numerous spruces that are over 30 years old and had been losing needles and looking really bad. Davey tree set up a treatment schedule that has improved the trees enough that I am keeping trees that I thought had no chance of survival.

Took down two large trees and planted eight giant arborvitae and did a very clean, professional job. Friendly and professional service headed by Ben who were always on time and did a great cleanup job. Small issues that came up were remedied very quickly as well. Highly recommend!!

We were quoted a price and what would be done. They arrived on time & despite encountering some problems which required an extra day there was no additional cost. The site was cleaned up very nicely as well.

Davey tree came out and did dte Strom prevention tree trimming in my back yard and left a 20 foot giant tree branch in my front yard blocking the public sidewalk and a few huge branches in my backyard. Tryed calling to get these removed since I do not own a chainsaw but sadly I was given he run around of i will pass your message along, etherway I would never recommend such poorly ran company that cares so little about customer service. I highly suggest using a different sevice if at all possible for anyone reading this review.

All of the people we dealt with (scheduler, salesman, trimmers) were prompt, very professional, knowledgeable and polite. .After trimming the tree they left the yard free of debris.

Do they have a category for 0 stars? Davey sprayed my lawn last week supposedly with a fungicide and totally killed my lush green lawn. It is so bad, you cant even rake it. We had one of the nicest lawns in our subdivision and now it is by far the worst. It started ding immediately that day and no amount of rain and water could help it. Ive had my lawn sprayed for years and never experienced something like this before. Im not buying their perfect storm excuse, either. They owe me a new lawn and whenever anyone in my sub asked me what happened to my lawn, believe me I tell them Davey did it every chance I get. I will make sure every one of my Realtors know and they pass it along to their clients, too. Worst ever! There are not enough adjectives to describe it.

DTE hired them for power line removal and they damaged my Harley Davidson. They have yet to respond 2 my call or offer an apology!

Outstanding! Professional! Did the work promised and more. We live on a very wooded lot in Dearborn and over the years have had to have a number of trees removed. We called several local companies to remove large trees from our backyard and number of those companies never returned calls. Davey Tree Company might have been a little more expensive than one of the other quotes but after watching them do the work you get what you pay for and we got AAA professional service. Totally worth it! The crew was very professional, treated our yard with respect, and cleaned up after themselves. I cant say enough good things.

This company is THE absolute worst. They were to trim my tree and they completely butchered it. They dropped limbs down, bent my fence. The worst part, they didnt care, just doing my job. I have never known of a company that doesnt care at all about their customers. Very rude and obnoxious. I would have given 0 stars, but 1 star was the lowest I could give. Be very wary

My evergreen was removed by the Davey tree farm .They stayed in contact with me regarding their time of arrival & they placed plywood across the edge of my drive-way with half the plywood on my grass so that the grass & cement drive-way was not damaged by the stump grinder.The tree is gone &,also, the stump & roots are gone. They swept the street before they left & I only had to pour some buckets of water on my drive-way to get the mud off from the wheels of the stump grinder & they apologized for that.So, it all went well & I am glad its over.

These guys butcher trees for no reason. They say they are trying to do line clearance for DTE, which is fine, but they leave the tree looking like a mess. Im fine with the lines being cleared, but there is no reason to take half of a tree from a tree that is 20 feet away from the power lines. Dont use these guys unless you want your trees totally messed up. Find another tree service for your tree needs. You want quality when you get your trees trimmed.

They never called or arrived at the location to trim my tree

They cut down a tree that was a friend of ours neighbors and left all the pieces of tree in our friends yard and flat out refused to come back and clean up THEIR mess, stating not our problem. Totally lazy unprofessional people!!

I would not recommend at all. When they gave me my estimate, they told me that before they could do the job I had to contact DTE, to trim the tree in my backyard at least 10 feet away from the power line. Per OSHA regulations. Guess who the contractor is that does that work for DTE. Davey Tree. Talk about double dipping. I had estimates from other tree trimming services. And none of them mentioned anything about DTE.

Had a crew of 3 guys sent to my house to take down a tree for DTE, didnt catch any of their names unfortunately, but my house is on Edgemont St. in Belleville, so that should narrow it down. They were all friendly, fast, and piled all the debris in one spot. Only downside is I guess when we called DTE and told them the tree was in the power lines they considered it a customer request to remove the tree so they dont pick up any debris! I even offered to pay them, but thy said they werent allowed. Other than that they were great workers, Id hire them again!

Lazy lazy lazy . I’ll trim my tees myself next time . I’ll do a better job and save myself a ton of money .
