Stellar experience with the Elite Radon Team! After leaving message after message with other firms who never returned our call, Kim got us scheduled in short order.The technicians were professional and personable, and frankly, this has been the best and easiest “home improvement” project we’ve ever experienced.We had Radon levels over 25 in the basement, and testing after their work was completed showed it was down to less than 2. Happy? You bet!Can’t recommend the Elite Radon Team highly enough!

After nonchalantly purchasing a radon detector from Amazon (the Wave), expecting little or no radon in my basement, the detector pretty quickly pegged in the red region. I did my research on radon companies that have proper certification for radon mitigation and found that Elite Radon Team had several employees that were certified. I called and they sent someone out (Tyler) within a few days. Tyler looked over the house and found an ingenious solution to funnel the radon out from beneath the house and vent it above the roof line (which is the accepted method of radon mitigation). The installers came out within a week or so and completed the installation in about 6-7 hours total. They were completely professional and cleaned up after themselves very well. Initially, it looked like the vent coming out of the roof would need to be visible at the front of the house. However, the installer came up with a great idea to eventually have it exit the roof where it cannot easily be seen. In addition, he painted the pipe black so it blended into the shingle color. I was very impressed with his concern that the installation look good and to make sure I was happy with the solution. They had initially forgotten to seal the edges of my basement where the wall meets the floor, but came out within two days to rectify the problem. I was especially happy when my radon levels dropped well below the acceptable EPA level overnight and have remained there since! What a relief! I am very pleased with the work of Elite Radon Team and their level of professionalism. I strongly recommend their work!

Great people to work with! They were very fast to get the state of the art equipment in place and start monitoring. They communicated at every step with all parties involved. They took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. The report was very detailed (by the hour) and a plan to correct the issue was included. It was reassuring to have a professional organization of this quality looking out for our interests during a concerning time in the real-estate inspection process.

I needed radon mitigation for my home and got quotes from 4 different companies. Price was by far not the only deciding factor in my selection process. I was only looking at guarantee levels, professionalism, responsiveness, and a host of other factors. During the process, I couldnt find a more professional and responsive group, although the communications was a little sporadic. They definitely overcame that with their professionalism. They diligently worked with me in an attempt to have the indoor install outlet in the back of the house. Unfortunately, the design of my home was not going to allow that, so definitely no fault of them. Once the install plan was set, the crew set to install. Again, they came out and was very professional and did everything in a timely fashion. I was comfortable with my decision after they left. That feeling remained until recently when radon readings were above guaranteed levels. These readings came from a certified laboratory calibrated device against a known sample. I have certificate of proof. They are refusing to honor their guarantee because they want a certified technician to get the reading... whats so special? Hell use a calibrated device to do the readings... the same requirement of the device Im using. (Compare that with my neighbor who bought a battery operated reader from Amazon and those reading got his radon mitigator back to honor their guarantee). Im not expecting something for nothing, but one calibrated device is as good as another (hence the term calibrated) and they are refusing to honor their guarantee using a certified laboratory calibrated device. Now I have to needlessly spend more money for someone else to use another calibrated device. How many times with this happen. Its only been 2-3 months and Ive already need them to do more work to get to guarantee levels. Spending more money every few months needlessly does not look like a promising outlook. I regret my decision.UPDATE: You asked for a certified test, I gave you one. As I so eloquently pointed out previously, my device is laboratory calibrated and certified, the same as yours. I even gave you the certificate demonstrating as such. Regardless, a mere 45 minutes after posting this, I got a call from the office manager. Shes always been very nice, even when dismissing a certified calibrated device that you claim you wants results from. As it stands, she offered to send someone out to do a testing for me? Can you guess what the results were?[insert pause here for dramatic effect]A) the results were higher than the established threshold, and B) the results matched my certified calibrated device.[Raise your hand if you saw that coming. ‍]After the readings, Tyler made some adjustments and we currently are awaiting the results to see how they play out.As it stands, Im not asking for anything approaching your exception to the HOA President. Its obvious he didnt have a calibrated device. I wouldnt have a leg to stand in if that were the case. However, its painfully obvious that because my certified laboratory calibrated device is different than what youre accustomed to, it doesnt invalidate its readings, as they were the same as the device you used and are familiar with. (They both sat approximately 2 feet from one another when both were present)Like I told Tyler, Im also not like chicken little and screaming for repairs on a single high reading or one thats barely over the thread hold.I just feel that the dismissal was a knee-jerk reaction to your previous experience and because youre unfamiliar with the device, it led to some trepidation. As evidenced by the test done and the results given by both devices, I hope you can see that not to be the case here.UPDATE#2: As you pointed out, although the readings were below EPA danger levels, they A) Matched your calibrated devise, and B) were ABOVE your guaranteed levels.

I cant speak highly enough for the Elite Radon Team and their home inspector Fedor and their customer service genius Bobbie. They were professional, kind, supportive and worth every penny. Thanks to their above and beyond inspection we caught 2 huge issues with the home I was buying that ultimately forced the hand of the seller to pay for, saving me literally thousands of dollars. Simply the best. Our house had a system installed by another company that was not adequate. Elite came out and made some recommendations which I agreed to. The added a second pit, dug out the 1st pit out properly, and installed all new piping and a better fan. My levels are now average below 2 pCi/L and I am very happy!

I recently got my radon mitigated by the Elite Radon Team and I highly recommend them. They were really knowledgeable and highly professional. They dont just install a fan and hope it works like the other companies do. These guys have advanced radon detection system and they monitor the pressure levels across different areas in the basement, and sniff for radon levels post mitigation to make sure they are well within or below the dangerous threshold. They are also very reasonably priced and pride themselves on the workmanship quality. Also, the fans that they carry are very high end and quiet. If you are serious about radon mitigation this is the company you should contact.

The fan stopped working on our home radon system installed back in 2013. The service guys they sent out were knowledgeable and friendly. They located the non working fan and were able to replace it quickly at a reasonable price. The new fan even comes with a 5 year warranty! Great job today!

I had three different companies give me quotes on a radon mitigation system. I am so glad we used Elite. The owner, James, answers the phone when you call. He was responsive and came out the next day (on a weekend) gave me a quote and answered all of my questions, in detail. Elite was able to come out just a few days later to install the system. Kevin and Brandon did the install, and were great. Polite, courteous, and professional. Radon levels retested with a third-party. We are now well below the EPAs action level.

Overall great and friendly customer service. James originally came out for the estimate for radon mitigation system. During the estimate he walked us through how the system works and how the whole process of installation was going to be. After the install techs installed the system my wife and I couldnt have been more happy by their professional and courteous work. After the install there was a follow up reading for radon which was originally at 4.0 ( before mitigation) and dropped to a .8 ( after mitigation systeminstall). Elite Radon put in a new air filtration systme to eliminate radon in our basement (specifically installing a Energy Recovery Ventilation System and Merv 13 filter). They did an absolute excellent job throughout the entire process - from explaining the activities to the placement of the duct work to the final walkthrough of the system and explaining the benefits. Matt was absolutely excellent and a wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend Elite Radon to anyone needing of Radon testing and/or remediation services.

I have used Matt Koch at Elite many times and he is the best in Atlanta in my opinion. Knows a lot about radon and the best way to mitigate it. Every house is different and so every mitigation system is different. You need the best configuration which is the lowest cost but also functional and cosmetically appealing. I would like to just say my experience with Elite Inspections of Ga was very pleasant and professional. After my place caught a flood I needed a professional inspector to inspect my place for mold. After contacting Elite inspections of Ga, I must say Mr. James Fraley did a wonderful job discovering what was a non livable environment and could eventually turn into a deadly environment to be in. What I love about him is that he put his customer first, I really do appreciate his concern and complete honesty about the living condition I was in. He did not make me feel as if this was another inspection for him, he really took his time to complete his job professionally. He even took pictures with the testing machine as will testing the walls, hes definitely spot on with his work and is affordable as well. James was very thorough with his inspection, and took the time to look over everything. There were a lot of unseen problems with the house we bought. We had enough time to put in an ammendment to fix the major issues. Before the closing he came out of his way at 8pm to come to do the final inspection. If it wasnt for him we would have bought a house and the heat would have stopped working. He is a very nice guy and will go over with you everything that he does when he comes to a house.
