Hughes made renovating both our bathrooms simultaneously as easy as it could be. Tyler and Josh were amazing. They were punctual, courteous, and respectful of our home and schedules. Both were meticulous and took pride in the quality of their work, and in the end it showed with a fantastic product. We are extremely happy with our new bathrooms, and would not hesitate to call Hughes for future projects.

I wanted to thank Hughes Kitchen & Bath! They listened to what I wanted in my kitchen! Bob was the best. I swear he is family now!!! He made everything perfect. He always took the extra time to work around my ill father and my skid dish dogs.I did research other companies. I couldnt get what I wanted for half the price. I needed to pay for a 3rd party to take down a wall and do the floors. Not just get cabinets. It would have cost me even more and then not know the quality of work. Bob did it ALL! He did it perfect! I couldnt have dreamed to have such a beautiful kitchen!You can look at other companies but it wont be as good unless you use Hughes Kitchen and Bath!

Hughes remodeled our kitchen and did and excellent job. We received drawing with the layout of the project so we knew exactly what to expect. The job was slated to start right at the on set of the Covid 19 limitations set by the governor. This caused a minor set back, however Mike stayed in touch and advised us of the new start date. The work is very professional and the craftsmen who performed the work kept us apprised of their progress. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work performed. The products used were as advertised and the craftsmen explained the kitchen appliances as they were installed. It is not often you can feel comfortable with a contractor in your home but with Hughes the craftsmen were clean, courteous, respectful and very knowledgeable. The work is impeccable and the timeline for completion was right on. The workmanship is warranted for three years and after completion of the project the president of the company made an appointment and inspected the work for final approval. It is not often you receive this kind of service. Hughes is a company you can trust to do the job right and take pride in their work because it is their business. Great Company Good people. Hughes Kitchens and Bath Remodeling Firm remodeled our master bathroom, and we were very pleased with the whole process. The planning started with Tony who has a great personality along with wonderful ideas for putting the remodel together. He was always eager to help and meet with us. When we entered the showroom we were greeted and made comfortable with a few refreshments. Our project was started by Mike who completed all the demolition and plumbing for the shower and bathtub. Mike was a hard worker who definitely liked what he did and wanted us to be satisfied. Tyler did the finishing of the bathroom which included flooring, woodwork, painting, setting up a vanity, toilet and freestanding tub. Tyler is a very talented worker who impressed us with his work ethic. He was always on time and very pleasant when he arrived in the morning. We felt as if he completed our bathroom remodel as if it were his own. I think it is very rare to find someone who takes pride in his work and wants all details to be as close to perfection as possible. If we had questions, Tyler was always willing to answer and do his best to make us satisfied. At the end of each day our bedroom, bathroom and garage were swept and cleaned up as best as possible. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from Hughes Kitchens and Baths and hope to do some kitchen remodeling with them in the near future. We have already spread the word to friends and family who may consider projects with them in the near future. Thanks……we couldn’t be happier with how our master bathroom turned out!

We hired Hughes Kitchens & Bath to install a granite counter top, back splash, hardware to cabinets, faucet, and sink in our kitchen. The installer Brian did a wonderful job. We also had a walk in shower and floor install in our bathroom, by Josh and Tyler who also did a great job. Larry and Velvet Bell.

My experience with Hughes Kitchens and Baths was a most pleasant one from beginning to end.It began with Tony Pierce at the design stage, who eagerly worked through my design uncertainties and changes.Then my installer,Tyler, proved to be the most meticulous craftsman! His patience and methodology in dealing with some unexpected issues in my 65 year old home were much appreciated. He was extremely neat and always concerned that I would be happy with the outcome.Another great attribute to Hughes is that they invest in their own employees rather than using subcontractors. As a consumer, I felt security in knowing who was entering my home and knowing they were covered by appropriate insurances. All Hughes employees we’re respectful and friendly.All that said, I can highly recommend Hughes Kitchens and Baths and I couldn’t be happier with my new kitchen!

I echo what all the other positive reviews have said and then some about Hughes. I am so glad we went with Hughes. We knew when we met Mike Pierce that Hughes was the best choice for us. Mike was fantastic in every aspect. He guided us through the process from beginning to end seamlessly. He was more than helpful (and patient!) with us choosing/changing our plans and selections. Mike stands by his company and their work. Our job was completed within the time frame Mike gave us. We couldn’t be more pleased!We had Bernie as our construction “guy” throughout the entire remodel. Bernie is awesome! We looked forward to him coming on a daily basis - not only to complete the job.... He is very personable! Bernie’s quality of work is excellent as you can see in our photos! In June of 2018 we started planning our renovations to our kitchen, laundry room and master bath with Tony Pierce of Hughes Kitchen. His professionalism, design abilities and amiable personality made us feel very comfortable. He quoted a 10 week build time. They started on January 22, 2019. We were fortunate enough to go to Florida for 6 weeks during demolition and initial building. All floors were replaced and a kitchen wall was brought down to make a large kitchen/great room. All furniture was sealed in rooms not being renovated and floors and carpeting were covered. The team was very respectful of our property and no damage was ever done. We returned 6 weeks into the build and were able to watch how meticulous and detailed they were. They arrived around 7 AM and worked through lunch until 3:00. We were very impressed with their dedication, work ethic and quality of work. To our team, Tony, Bobby, Kelley, John, Kurt, Alec, Brian and Anthony, thank you for our beautiful home. (Sorry if we missed someone) The work was completed 2 days short of our quoted 10 weeks. We highly recommend Hughes Kitchen and Bath.

Hughes Kitchen and Bath recently completed my home remodel project that included a redesign of my fireplace, refacing of my 1996 cupboards in my kitchen and bathrooms, and installing new countertops in two bathrooms. They estimated the job would take 4 weeks to complete and it was finished in 4 weeks.I am extremely satisfied with the job Hughes did. My house is finally updated and looks fantastic. Jeff was my installer, and he did an excellent job. He left my house cleaned up every day, and I never felt uncomfortable giving him access to my house. I would not hesitate to use Hughes for any future projects I have and I would recommend them to my friends.

We had a Bathroom remodel done. Took out a Jacuzzi tub and installed a walk in shower. From the first time we met in the office to the last day of the project was top notch service. My man Kelly was super helpful. Had a couple of ideas that we missed. He was All over this project. On time every day and cleaned up after each day. Completed the job a day early. We recently had our kitchen and den remodeled by Hughes and they did a wonderful job. Mike was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and detail oriented throughout the project. Kelly and Jeff did a phenomenal job installing the new cabinets and bookcases and painting everything in sight, and they ensured that everything was done right so that it will last. Brian built beautiful custom bookcases and cabinets to match the original wood paneling and cabinetry; so well in fact, that a friend came over and couldnt tell that the bookcases werent original!

Mike, Bob and Kevin were the best, I spent time in construction and was very picky. They met and exceeded in every aspect. They were on time every morning and left our house spotless every night. Our contractor, Bob Boatright, was able to complete the job in the estimated time we were told, despite working around the holidays. He was consistent, punctual and very friendly. Hughes Kitchens did two separate projects for us: A kitchen upgrade and the creation of a first-floor laundry area. We were 100% satisfied with both projects. The company completed the work within the given time frame and also stayed within the original cost quote. The men working on the project were polite, helpful and very skilled workers. Mike, the owner, worked closely with us to be sure that we ordered exactly what we needed and followed-through to the end of the project. We would use them again for any home renovation or upgrade projects that we would need.

We recently had new doors and drawer fronts as well as our kitchen cabinets refreshed by Hughes. The first meeting with Mike Pierce, President, in our home went very well with Mike offering a couple of options and a corner cabinet modification that turned out awesome.We have had some issues with other contractors that have done work for us so I just started by telling Mike that we/I expected perfection or I wasnt going to be happy. I am thrilled with our experience with Hughes Kitchen. They did our project this past summer and I am very thankful we chose this company. The design process went very smoothly as Tony was helpful in giving us options that worked for our space. He explained well when one option worked better than another, but also respected our choices on elements that were important to us even if it meant more difficulty.A no nonsense contract made expectations on both sides transparent and fair. Everything was spelled out in black and white, and Hughes achieved milestones of the project on time and on budget.Maybe the most impressive part of this whole process was Jim, the primary member of the crew who was at our house every day for 6-8 weeks, doing much of the work and overseeing the project when multiple workers were required. Without fail he showed up at the same time, on time or early, every single day for nearly 2 months. He was very friendly, and really went above and beyond our expectations. He was meticulous about getting every detail exactly right. Everybody from Hughes Kitchen who came to our house treated our home and our family with respect.The quality of the work itself was very good, and any issues that did arise were quickly fixed to our satisfaction. I am happy with Hughes Kitchen and Bath with the main bathroom remodel from start to finish, the sales/designer and the contractor assigned to my remodel were very professional. The contractor was skilled in all areas of the remodel and his work was excellent. He answered all my questions as the project progressed and explained what he was doing and what the next step would be. He arrived each day at the time he said he would be here and he kept the work areas clean and organized. I was impressed that the contractor could handle all areas of the remodel from doing the demo, finding and repairing the floor where we had water leaking, installing new plumbing, fixtures and tile. I was most impressed with his carpentry work which is quite nice. Initially, I was told the project could take up to 4 weeks, but the project was finished in just over 2 weeks. I would recommend this company.

We paid so much less for handmade cabinet doors of solid maple than the price we received from another contractor for pressboard covered with plastic to look like wood.Our carpenter was Jeff and we came to trust him implicitly. We began to say that if thats what Jeff recommends then thats what we want to be done.The transformation to our kitchen is so dramatic that its hard to believe that we chose the kitchen makeover because it looks like a completely new, custom made kitchen.We have recommended Hughes Kitchens and Bath to our friends, and now they are getting a new kitchen too! Ill keep recommending them because Id hate to see anyone get ripped off by those other companies that are installing shoddy products for three times the cost, and using questionable sales practices to do so. Kitchen and dining room remodel just completed in June 2017 and it is absolutely wonderful. From design to construction to cleanup everything was great! They did our bathroom too about 8 years ago.

I recently had them remodel my bathroom and they did a wonderful job at a fair price. Their staff was very professional and worked very hard to get the results I was looking for. A special thanks to Tony and John for all their time and attention. This is the second job they completed for us and we are already planning a third.

Second remodel with Hughes Kitchen and Bath. As expected the workmanship was outstanding. Kurt was the lead craftsman for our bathroom project that included removal of garden tub, new flooring, countertops, shower install, the list goes on. Suffice to say Kurt’s work was superb, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, trim, all outstanding. Mike and his crew are responsive, efficient, professional all the way.

I would not recommend that anyone get involved with Hughes Kitchen and Bath. They are operating on a rob Peter to pay Paul system and the job time estimates are totally skewed to what they know you want to hear. What is promised in 5-7 weeks took 5 months for us. One of those months no one was here working. This is what we were trying to avoid by choosing a business with a long history and a good BBB rating. I did my homework and checked them out on BBB. They had an A+ rating which I think was basically because people were afraid that their job would not get completed if they complained. Mike (owner) was difficult to work with and was constantly on the defensive. No effort was made to rectify the issues we had. (Supplies not ordered, cabinets and tile not ordered, contractor constantly having to run to Home Depot to buy the things he needed). Had we known this in the first place we would have gone with another company.

I would STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from choosing Hughes for a remodeling project.The company was established in 1948 and had no complaints with the BBB until after it was sold to the current owner in 2004.It will be too hard to relay the full scope of just how awful our experience was with Hughes, but I will provide a few of the details.We had our kitchen, laundry, 1/2 bath and wet bar remodeled with them this past year. We were told that our project would take about 5-7 weeks. Work was started in our home September 29, 2013 and we finally received the last item for completion nearly 14 months later! We had a carpenter in our home five days a week for nearly 5 months. All four of the rooms were measured incorrectly. Two pullout cabinets that were supposed to be in the kitchen didn’t fit and had to be returned. The carpenter had to cut out part of the molding around our bathroom door so the counter top would fit on the vanity that was measured too big. The cabinet in the laundry room that was also measured too big and was delivered to my home SIX times before it was finally right. They had to drywall over part of a glass block window in our basement to create more “wall” for the wet bar cabinet that was measured and ordered too large for the space. This is a very small part of a very long list of things that were done incorrectly.We paid a 30% ($12,858) down payment nearly 6 months before our project began.We then paid another 30% (12,333) on the day the remodel finally began. Yet, at the start of the job, the company had not purchased anything other than cabinets for the project. No fixtures, no trim, no paint, no faucets, no sinks, no counters, no hardware, no tile, no windows, no backsplash, etc, etc. The the project was repeatedly stalled while we waited for items to be ordered. I believe Hughes is so financially troubled that they are resorting to pyramid schemes, using down payments from upcoming jobs to pay for current or prior jobs. Like all such pyramid schemes, it will eventually come crashing down.Hughes’ website states that they do not use subcontractors. In February of 2014, before our remodel was completed, we were threatened with a lien on our home from Shand enterprises, the subcontractor that Hughes used for our counters. We paid Hughes $12,334 (our third 30% payment,) the very day that the counters were installed back in November of 2013 but Hughes never paid the $5,182 that they owed the subcontractor for the counters. In order to avoid a lien on our home, we had to directly pay the subcontractor $3,727 of the final $5,227 payment we had for Hughes.Finally, I would like to point out that the owner (president) and his son (the manager) both claim to be designers. Neither has any education in design. The son has a bachelor’s degree in business administration/management, and the owner (father) worked for a cabinet maker while he was in his 20’s. He then worked in sales at Nickles bakery until he purchased Hughes in 2004.I hope this review saves someone from making the same mistake we did when we chose to hire Hughes Kitchens and Bath.

Once upon a time, there was a enthusiastic optimistic women. She decided that the vanity in her bathroom was ready for the heap and a discovery of mold on the wall behind it freaked her out! Everyday she got up and did her diligent research for a new vanity. She was soon walking the DIY stores until complete exhaustion. After months the women wasnt so enthusiastic because of the ups and downs of what could work and what wouldnt... with the returns of some purchases, the constant searches, and great fatigue (Ugh!) ...the task became overwhelming for her. However, the women managed to finally succeed in the purchases of her Vanity, special ordered sink, faucet, and vanity light...Then she perused the deed of finding help to do the repairs and installment. Everyday she got up and got online searching and calling and fretting about who wouldnt rip her off, as in the past. After much time passed by with all these new bathroom supplies sitting in her family room, along with no vanity in her bathroom, was driving her and her husband crazy! After a couple of estimates that just didnt sit right with her and her husband.... She prayed in great despair!...Aaaaa....then there was a memory of the Hughes Kitchens and baths owner whom attended her church from many years past. She thought maybe they could help her. So one day she made the call, got a visit from Tony Pierce that put her mind to ease that they could work with her existing purchases and take care of the rest of her situation. And that they did! Jim with his skills, ingenuity, punctuality and neatness...along with his delightful helper Tom pleased the women...Now that the long drug out project is done (not without surprises) as in all remodels... her and her husband, children and grandchildren, friends and all the rest can delightfully walk into her bathroom on the new luxury vinyl floor (Level floor). As their eyes scan the room while they go potty and tap the switch on the new Panasonic fan with peace of mind and a peaceful fan (hehe).They cam wash their hands while enjoying the ambiance of soft lighting against the traditional style wainscotting and smooth walls ... The women and her husband are pleased each time they enter their new bathroom. THE END
