We just bought a home in need of many cosmetic updates. We found AYS at the recommendation of a friend. Absolutely fantastic experience. Our kitchen is everything we hoped it would be. Tim is extremely helpful, professional, and great with updates and communication. We changed our mind about grout color day of installation and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Tim also brainstormed with us about how to fit an extra large sink into our kitchen, and came up with great options on how to install. The office was also very helpful, friendly, and accommodating with payments and scheduling. The work crew was wonderful, professional, and we are beyond happy with our new kitchen! After many contractor interviews I settled on AYS. Tim came by several times to understand exactly what I wanted to accomplish as the project was extensive. He even took me to homes of past clients. I wanted to open up the floor plan and that required 3 walls that had to come down and totally redo the kitchen, top to bottom. The living room was antiquated and needed updating. Also, needed to expand the master bath and remodel. Almost ever ceiling in the house had to be replaced in addition to all new flooring throughout the house ( LVP ). They moved the furnace above the garage and install a tankless water heater in the garage as well and new plumbing throughout. Added 30 new can lights throughout the entire house and added lights to existing closets. They replaced every interior door. Also, new HVAC system was installed and a new electrical panel, new wiring, outlets and switchs to accommodate all the new lights. New base boards throughout and crown molding. Not to mention new interior painting. I may have left a few things out like ceiling fans, blinds, lien closet, glass wall and marble shower but it was a TOTAL top to bottom remodel. It took a total of 4 months to complete, as promised. There were times I wondered what I had gotten into, what a mess!! but in the end WOW what a transformation!!!As to Tim and the AYS team. I could not have picked a better partner for this project. Their attention to detail and commitment to deliver what was promised was spot on. Tim always answered my calls and came by to inspect the days progress, when possible. He was in touch with his team every day they where on site. I have had a few minor cosmetic flaws since that needed to be addressed and Tim fixed them no questions asked. He never mentions warranty time lines when he comes by, just a genuine smile and a can do attitude. He understands the value of his reputation and he obliges he customers request. That is why he has so much repeat business from past customers, they know his word is solid. This goes for the entire AYS team. Each and everyone of them are very genuine and accommodating. I called AYS based on reviews and reputation. I am glad I did! Tim Brenner is great to work with and since we had several changes to our plans mid-stream, he was professional and was able to accommodate our requests. We started this odyssey with a water leak in the master bathroom that required extensive work. Tim and AYS were ready to tackle the job right away. All of the restoration work required several skills to complete - tile, plumbing, cabinetry, flooring, paint, electrical and construction. Tim and AYS - in my opinion - had the right people for the job at the right time! We are now complete and loving the work that was done, no complaints - would recommend them for home improvement projects of any size. And, you dont have to wait for a disaster, like us, to get quality improvements!

I’m so happy we went with AYS to repair and replace the issues caused my a 2nd floor bathroom leak. We were having issues with insurance and Jill worked diligently until our issue was resolved. And then Heidi who managed our project team did whatever was needed to make sure our job was completed. Our flooring was our of stock and she searched high and low to find a replace and when we did she had the team in there to finish the job in less than 2 Days! We love the outcome and quality of the work and would absolutely hire them again.

I was referred to AYS from my mitigation company after a flood that impacted our master bath and basement. In reading some of the other reviews, its apparent that AYS has had some challenges with some of the subcontractors theyve used for the actual construction work. Thankfully, that was not the case for me.The subcontractor who did the (extensive) work for us was excellent. Our basement had quite a bit of damage and everything was returned to a condition that was as good as or better than it was before. The work did take a few more days than wed hoped, but that was more due to uncovering additional damage (such as door casings), which had to then be approved by insurance and then the additional work be completed. In the end, the total time for the project was still very reasonable, especially given that it spanned over the Thanksgiving holiday. Also, the quality of the work was just excellent. It feels like we have a brand new basement now!

I had a pipe burst in my bathroom in February 2021. Long story short bathroom was destroyed. AYS took a completely gutted bathroom and turned it into a work of art. The tile work is extraordinary. Very pleased with there service.

We decided to close off our two-story family room to add more living space (bedroom/bathroom) on the 3rd floor. Tim was very patient with us as we worked through the details and was always extremely responsive and timely in all aspects of communication and project delivery. Our project was on budget, on time and the quality of work was outstanding. In addition to adding the bedroom and bathroom upstairs we also added a coffered ceiling grid and built in bookshelves in the new family room. The proposal was well presented. Tim Brenner was great to work with! While there were a few bumps along the line Tim made things right in a fair and equitable manner. The work was done at a very high quality level.We would definitely work with AYS and Tim again.

Subcontracted by Hampton Restoration to replace a section of flooring in a bathroom, sand and refinish the rest of the floors hardwood to match. The work was so poorly executed that I had to call the project manager several times to get things fixed. They used sub-grade materials and mismatched trim pieces. Several areas of the floor were refinished with different finishes so I have spots of glossy and spots of matte finish. Months later I still find places where they cut corners. As a parting gift the moving company they contracted to pack out the furniture scratched the very floors that were refinished and refused to own up to their mistake. I would have been better off never completing the repairs. I now have to pay out of pocket to refinish the entire floor to fix AYSs mistakes. The whole process was a true nightmare. Avoid at all costs, they arent worth the headaches.

AYS did a fantastic job on repairing our kitchen flooring and cabinets after a water leak caused extensive damage. Tim worked with our insurance to make sure we were compensated, and then his crew did a great job on the kitchen. It looks better than it did before the leak, and the cabinets are better quality too. A great job all around!

AYS was recommended to us by Hampton Restoration Group after we had a water leak from a broken kitchen faucet. They worked with our insurance company and did a good job restoring our kitchen and exercise room. We would recommend them and use them again in the future.

The Project Manager was on top of the project from beginning to end. Job was completed in timely manner, all the subcontractors were respectful of my home, and they cleaned up daily which made my project enjoyable.

AYS came in and installed drywall and completed a half bath remodel. Another company did a mold remediation and then their sister company never finished the job. I had AYS come in and they had my bathroom restored and looking beautiful in no time. After completion of the work, I had a slight issue with the stability of the toilet and they sent someone to fix it. Everything is in great shape now. I found AYS to be dependable and professional and reasonably priced.

I have used AYS restoration twice now for my guest bathroom leak and master bathroom shower pane leak. Both times Tim was responsive, professional and his team delivered the services around the timelines I requested. The second time I had a time crunch for the work that needed to be done due to travel timelines; he made sure he squeezed me in and did the work to an acceptable point or me to travel. As soon as I got back in, they finished what was started and he always set the expectations so there are no surprises. I can truly say I am satisfied with both jobs and will use their services again in the event it is needed.

After speaking to AYS in Jan of 2021 I was giving an estimate for repairs due to an insurance claim. At no time did this company indicate there was a minimum for services or that there was any other requirements I was simply told they where about 3 weeks out. After getting my insurance company to agree with the charges and checks where issued I waited for a call back which never got. After reaching out to them they advised they have a 2500.00 minimum to perform any work. I do not recommend this company based on the actions of pre-sales / sales / contractual. Lady was rather short and could give .02 what I was told as the sales guy was no longer with the company.

My husband and I decided to change our sunroom carpet to vinyl floor. After doing some research and recommend from family and friends we chose AYS to do it. They were very professional and friendly. I was very skeptical that I had to pack out 2 floors - did NOT want this at all. But Phil was right - wanted to make sure new flooring was installed properly and had time to settle (dry).I was so overwhelmed but looking back over these past 2 months I can honestly say Phil had so much patience with me. I kept asking questions and was very doubtful.The drywall and painting job was very professional. My home looks brand “new” thanks to AYS. Friends have commented as well and one even said, I am amazed at the superb job - all details were taken care of! He didn’t expect it - remodeled their kitchen and contractors never finished the job.AYS will finish the job AND to your satisfaction before accepting final payment!

Working with AYS was the worst experience I have ever had with a company, hands down. We contracted with them on a job repairing damages from a water leak that included new flooring and ceiling in my kitchen, new carpet in the master bedroom, new flooring in the master bath and replacing the master bath vanity.I would like to firstly say the team that actually did the work at our house was phenomenal. HOWEVER, everything else about the company was horrible.We had 3 different project managers throughout the project, they clearly did not ever speak with one another and started from scratch 3 different times. The work on the project didnt begin until 2 months after we signed on with them! The final project manager we worked with did not communicate with us: he would send teams out to our house without letting us know first, and when they arrived they would inform us we wouldnt be able to use our kitchen for the entire day - without any time to prepare; This was during quarantine with 3 children under the age of 5 - then would go a week+ without having anyone come out, without letting us know. This would mean we would have flooring missing, ceilings half repaired, carpet peeled up but not replaced, our entire kitchen ropes off...etc - for indefinite amounts of time and no expectation of when it would be completed. Our routine for about a month was to be prepared to not be able to use our kitchen all day, without any idea if they would actually be in our home that day.He would also have things delivered to our house without letting us know - we had things coming and going from our front porch without any idea how long they would be there. Several times we would receive a call in the middle of the day ensuring we would be home in 30 minutes to receive ___________, more than once we had to let them know we would not be home because we had no advanced notice. Once this meant a delivery got delayed a week because we werent able to receive it. He once left carpet on our front porch for a week - which subsequently got damaged by the rain - then got angry with us when we insisted he get new carpet and not install a wet carpet in our house.We also caught him lying several times on a project. The first time it was when he tried to order a pre-fab vanity for our bathroom multiple times 0 each time we told him that the estimate we signed with them included a custom vanity (our bathroom is not typical dimensions so the vanity had to be custom measurements). The third time he did this he was proposing they order 2 pre-fab vanitys and cut the second one in half, and combine them to fit out bathroom. I went around him since it was the third time this had happened and called the owner to insist they install a custom vanity as the estimate indicated. When they asked him why he kept trying to use a pre-fab vanity instead of the custom vanity with measurements already taken he told them my wife had indicated she would prefer a pre-fab vanity with typical measurements. This was a lie, she had never said that...Another time he insisted the reason his teams hadnt come out for a week was because the flooring they were installing needed that much time to condition to the house (it wasnt wood flooring, conditioning was not necessary). However later in the project he had to order more packs of the same flooring, and had his team install it the same day it was ordered. I asked why that flooring didnt also need to condition, he never responded - I asked the owner the same question and she said he must have just been confused.On the rare occasions he would speak to me it was always through text, he was rude and sarcastic, and the conversation always ended with him not responding. I asked the owner several times to please replace him with one of the first 2 project managers we had had, both of whom I thought were fine. She said she couldnt do that because our PM was new and needed the experience, but that he would get better - he did not.

I got in touch with AYS via Google as I was looking for GC for my project . Tim contacted me and came to my house as promised as scheduled time . Going back and forth with insurance company as going thru insurance claim , Tim was very responsive in providing all the details as requested . Tim’s quote was very detailed. Once we signed the contract Tim’s crew came as scheduled and these guys are professional . No Messing around on job , completed the job as promised on schedule . Final product and outcome is really sharp and high quality . I would surely recommend these guys !!

5 months into what I was told would be a 3 week job and they still couldnt complete it. Broke a bed while moving it and didnt tell me! Lied to me about being on the job over and over again when they knew I could drive down the street to check on them! It took them 4 different attempts to install a single cabinet correctly and they still never got it right! Absolutely disgraceful company that is prime example of why people hate dealing with contractors. Do not give them your business!

I was assured from the beginning that the work would be completed before my company arrived and they didnt lie! They were so fast and efficient and VERY communicative, which I really appreciated. I knew exactly when the crew was expected to show up, when they left for lunch and when they were done for the day. They were so courteous and professional. A long-term leak in our roof caused a lot of rotting issues that just having the roof replaced wouldn’t fix. Tim Brenner & AYS were recommended to us by another roofer. From the very beginning, Tim provided us great service, starting with a clear estimate which laid out what we could expect & explained any areas that could increase the cost depending on what the damages ended up being. Tim came out to our home several times before, during & after the repairs & new roof. The crews who did the repairs & the new roof worked two long days to complete the job, consulting with us & with Tim when needed, & ensuring they left the work area clean when finished. We were very pleased with their work also. The final cost was clearly explained to us & was very transparent. We have no experience with contractors, so it was great that our first one happened to be such a keeper! We’ll definitely use again & highly recommend.

AYS completely gutted two full baths to the studs replacing/redoing electrical, plumbing, removed popcorn ceilings (in master bedroom, too), replaced sinks/tubs/toilets and custom built a walk-in shower.We had a couple glitches with supply chains getting fixtures due to Covid but we determined satisfactory work arounds.The subs were all courteous, humorous and talented. The tile work, drywall and paint look perfect.I’m no novice dealing with renovations/remodeling but can honestly say that this 14 week job was my best experience ever.

AYS was recommended to us by Hampton Restoration Group when their workload precluded their ability to begin the restoration phase of the water damage project caused by a failed refrigerator water supply valve, in a timely manner.When I met with Phil Huang, the AYS Project Manager, I provided him with a sample of the wood flooring currently installed. During the course of this nightmare project I learned that the oak flooring we had was red oak. I subsequently learned that most of the oak flooring they initially installed was white oak. It did not match our existing floor, at all. In the kitchen area around the refrigerator the mismatch was so bad the flooring looked like a bar graph. They ended up having to replace the flooring installed in the kitchen area, hall, pantry, laundry room and the two bedrooms we upgraded from carpet to wood. This they did without complaint.We also upgrade the stairs and downstairs foyer to wood flooring. Thankfully, they actually provided red oak for this area so we didnt have a match problem. However, the workmanship was poor. The cuts made for the steps were so bad on two of them the workmen installed shims in an attempt to hide the gaps. One of the two steps had to be replaced.We purchased carpet runners for the stairs. They were installed improperly and the turn at the top of the stairs had to be redone.In the process of moving the furniture back in place scratches were created on the newly resurfaced flooring and on flooring in the bedroom where the furniture was stored during the restoration process. Repairs were made but the quality was poor in one area. By this point, I just wanted them out, so I live with the botched repair.The painting and drywall contractor was great, the only craftsman with whom I was pleased.A job that was expected to take about a week ended up taking close to three weeks and caused much family stress.

Really appreciated the communication, timeliness and quality of work. They came out same day to provide an estimate and stuck to their word. I had a date we had to finish work by (very pregnant and needing work done to allow for large appliance delivery). They made it happen and it looks great! My only complaint is they didnt protect the restoration area and I spent an evening dusting, vacuuming and cleaning the woods dust. Overall, definitely recommend!

Shopped around to four contractors and AYS had the best price. I liked the fact they had a showroom. I had them remodel my master bath and tile the shower. The work was well done and on time. My experience was awesome. Tim oversaw every step and was very pleasant to deal with.

I had a wonderful experience with AYS. I contacted them for a deck addition and they had someone out and send me an estimate that week. They did not have a long wait time. The project ran very smoothly. Very happy with my deck. 10/10 would recommend.

Project encountered numerous issues, delays, and incorrect billing. which extended a 2 month project to over 6 months. Principals at the company became involved and were sympathetic, but were unable to expiate resolution of the issues.

One word....... RUN. Do not use this companys services. They hire some guys from Home Depot to do your repairs. Not professional at all. If you need photos, I can show you.

AYS took three months to complete a job that was quoted to take one week. They repaired our master shower following a water leak caused by sub-par construction by a former contractor. Their work is well done. We are pleased with the shower; however, there were weeks at a time when no one did any work and there was no communication. When the job was finished, there was no consideration given for the exponentially extended time it took to complete the job. Overall, we are satisfied with the quality of the renovation and dissatisfied with the quality of the customer service.

Horrible follow-up & follow through regarding timelines, verbal commitments to start or complete projects. We would NOT REFER this company to anyone for any reason or any project because of the POOR COMMUNICATION, CUSTOMER SERVICE & OVERALL HONESTY OF AVAILABILITY.We also intend to file a complaint with the BBB and along with our insurance company for their repeated FAILURE to begin or meet promised commitment date, times & return/or/answer phone calls!!😤 We have the telephone ☎call log & text messages to prove our review!

We had a tree fall thru our house back in September, Shane at AYC was amazing the job looks awesome and we couldnt be happier.

We had average work done by them about 1.5 yrs ago and had a leak spring back up. They sent us round and round for about 2 weeks and then when it finally landed back in their lap they sent Johnny out. Johnny constantly says he will get back to you in an hr, give him a day, and so on and he never does. He did this as well the first time around. It gets so frustrating that you just dont want to deal with them any more but there is work they need to do that falls under warranty. Will update review if things change.Update: 7.10.17 STill no working bathroom and it has been a total of 2 month going in circles. I have repeatedly taken off work b/c they were scheduled and 2 times now no one has shown up and there is always a reason. We have had 4 people come out with no work done. They arrive, take a look, say they didnt bring tools, and then leave. To top things off, the owner has sold the business is now on vacation in Europe and I am waiting on someones approval after all this. My bathroom is still under warranty yet I feel they are dragging this out to where they can tell me it is no longer under warranty. Will update again soon.UPDATE 8.30.17We finally have a completed bathroom. Yay!!! It was rough but I respect that they followed through. Roger has been the best to deal with and did good work.Hope we are all set and dont have to deal with this again. I have them 2 more stars for following through and Roger doing good work.
