This barber shop, specifically Mikey, gave me one of the best cuts I’ve ever had!He took his time with the fade and made sure every hair was cut to perfection. No joke. My son looked up a top rated barbershop in the area and wanted to go here. We stopped by but got cold treatment and brushed off saying they didnt have spots opened. Some barbers didnt even want to look up and acknowledge my husband. Kinda sad.. Shocked a place with such good reviews has such bad customer service... Perhaps we didnt look the part

I called yesterday to make sure they took walk-ins, and the person on the phone said they did. So, today I rode my bike 2 miles through the freezing cold to get a fade. I’m new to the area and looking for a good local barber. It was about 2 o’clock when I arrived and I knew they closed at 3 so there was still a good hour left for me to get a simple fade. When I walked through the door, all sweaty and out of breath with my glasses fogged up, they asked me if I had an appointment. I said no and they told me that they were all booked for the day and I’d have to come back. I explained to them that I called yesterday and was told they took walk-ins. One of the barbers said that they did indeed take walk-ins, but only if they’re not booked. I explained that nobody told me about the “if they’re not booked“ part. If they did I would have called before I rode my bike 2 miles in the cold to get there. I explained to them that I just rode my bike a couple miles and pleaded for someone to cut my hair. None of the three barbers there offered to help me. They just looked at me in silence. Three idiot barbers who wouldn’t even help me when it was their fault to begin with. I would have even waited an hour and paid double the price because getting a haircut today was very important to me! But they were having none of it. This was terrible customer service and not professional at all. And they lost a customer for life.

Overall, very accommodating and all barbers have thorough experience. Definitely gives you the good ole barber shop environment with good conversation and refreshments while you wait. Mikee is the man. Need a good fade be it razor or just a trim, Mikee will take care of you.

Mikey is the best! He remembers my sons name and gets my shy son to talk to him. My son has hated haircuts for years, but has no problem or complaints when I tell him were going to go see Mikey.

My dad had cancer and had been going to Saffells for years. He recently got really sick, and wasnt able to leave the hospital, so Jeremy (the owner) gave me his personal number and told me to let him know when he could come into the hospital to give my dad a cut. He made time to come in on his day off, but unfortunately my dad abruptly passed away before he arrived that day. The fact that he was willing to do this wouldve made all the difference to my dad, and theres no amount of money I wouldnt have paid to let him feel the normalcy of bullsh!tting with his barber one more time. Both him and his employees all give great haircuts, but even if they didnt I would (and will) continue to go there for as long as Saffells is open.

Says its open on Saturdays 9-3. Its 11am and Im standing here staring at a closed shop. No sign on the door indicating why its closed. I wasted a trip here. A second potential patron just arrived and is equally puzzled by the closure. I wont be back.

This is the the BEST place to get a haircut in America. I have traveled the US and have never had a cut come close... That being said beware! This is not without consequence. I have had to invest heavily in condom stock. I literally cannot go into the gas station anymore (now paying at the pump). This is because the women literally see my hair cut and follow me like I am fresh meat on the walking dead! These haircuts are sooo good I had to get limo tint on my ride so these ladies dont chase my ride down the mean streets of Lake Cable. The doctor said that my testerone levels have doubled, the only explanation, the Saffell Fade Phenomenon. I was puzzled! The only remedy he could give me was a script of 160 Viagra pills. Which I found odd because honestly since this haircut I feel more like the Cialis guy?? But its cool. Please if you get a haircut here, and are married, dont abuse your new found Fade Phenomenon! Because you will find that your wife literally will work, clean, pay all the bills, mow the yard, and do things like buy kegerators, old school muscle cars, and take a new interest in three ways with the hottest of her friends. Dont be fooled. This is just a plot to keep the Saffell Fade in the house! Divorce that hooker! Take half (btw haircut looks great in divorce court too) and move to South America, only coming back to get Saffell Fades! Why South America? The women are smoking hot, and easily fooled, this keeps you and your new Saffell Fade safe. I have had cuts here for ten years. And let me tell you guys, If you dont have a million bucks, you might as well feel like a million bucks! These cuts are great for young men as well. Better grades, interest in chores, character building, and over all better behavior are just some of the benefits of a Youth Saffell Fade. My son got his first hair cut here. It made me proud! Saffell and Johnny are good local guys. And they truly take pride in what they do. Please do these guys a favor and call for an appointment. Do not show up puzzled on a Saturday morning expecting someone to have the red carpet rolled out for you. These guys are true professionals. They treat you great. Return the favor.
