Ive really enjoyed living here. Krysten at the front desk and the rest of the staff have been very helpful. James does a great job! There are loads of amenities. So far Ive not met any bad neighbors. Ill give five stars for now with the caveat that Ive not had any real issues to work through or had to deal with ending a lease yet. The gates are often out of service, but thats actually a bonus (to me) since those things dont keep anyone out anyway. Theyre just there because apparently they make stupid people feel more secure or something.

I moved here a year ago and I have had no issues at all here.. parking is sometimes packed as I come home later in the day from work, but seriously been a great year. I moved here from an awful apartment complex in Jasper and this place has been wonderful. Staff been great neighbors been great and the complex is one of the best maintained in all of canton.. would definitely recommend, if not that I just got a house in ball ground would have definitely stayed another year..

Our lease recently ended at this appt complex. To our surprise, we are being billed for a new carpet due to unacceptable wear and tear. We do have two dogs and we paid all appropriate dues and fees/deposits for having two dogs. The wear and tear that we had is more than what they would accept - I guess this is where this becomes a semantics issue. Please be AWARE of the deceptive tactics and explanations/justifications used by this management to fleece you of your deposit. their solution is to give you your deposit back and bill you for the whole carpet - how wonderful. they will definitely tell you sorry you feel that way but will still bill you for a new carpet. PS: when we moved in there, the carpet was NOT new. I guess this is how you do business! Bravo. Very unfortunate situation when you blindside your tenants like that. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and do your research.

I have only been living here for a short time. Very little to complain about. Had a small issue with the freezer that was quickly remedied. Getting off work late at night results with a little bit of a walk to get home, but if that is the only issue, I dont mind walking. The grounds are well kept. I have had nothing but respectful encounters with all residents that I have came across. Thank you Krysten and the other members of the front office for all the assistance you guys have given me.

I have lived here on property for a few weeks now. Im nothing but extremely happy with my experience.i can honestly say i feel like Im living on a resort. The Leasing staff has been nothing but amazing. The Mountain view is stunning. And the amenities they offer are nothing short of great.

I have been living at The Crest since they have first opened their doors. Even with a change in management, this place has remained amazing. The ground are always well maintained and office staff is so attentive. Looking at the negative reviews on here, they just arent true! I absolutely love living here and do not plan on leaving here! I stayed here with my daughter. The staff was quick and prompt to problems, they would send maintenance with urgency. The location is safe and I never worried about my vehicle or apartment falling victim to a theft, entering auto or burglary. The staff is remarkable and customer service is definitely atop their list of priorities. Melissa is quick with returning emails and it is apparent she genuinely cares about people. The staff is very personable and if I had to, I’d live here again! 5 out of 5 star rating on everything!

This place is a joke. If you are moving here because its gated, dont. The gates get stuck shut so they leave them wide open for days on end. The cameras at the gate also dont work. The trash is valet but is usually randomly just not picked up. Parking is literally a nightmare especially on weekends. When I moved out I was overcharged and then they turned me into a collection agency even after it was paid.

If you’re looking for a safe place with friendly and attentive staff, you’ve found it. Beautiful, luxury apartments and the grounds are so well maintained. I love living here!

Its been legit living here for 2 years. Great location, no apartment complex like this in the area. Apartments are new so ive never used maintenance. Lots of friendly people with dogs, good mountain views, dog parks, grills, and fireplace.

AMAZING complex with wonderful people- I downsized from a large 4 bedroom home and moved into an apartment here. I was nervous about apartment living not feeling like a home... BUT- after doing a TON of research on other rental options I can say this is an incredible choice! I have been super impressed with the community, the cleanliness, complex communication and overall experience. The grounds are immaculate and outdoor amenities are pristine. Very courteous neighbors. Diverse mix of singles and families. There are very responsible dog owners that own a variety of dogs. I can say that there are a few pit bull parents, but they are incredible with their animals.....the only issue I have had with a dog at the park wasnt even close to a bully breed. The pet parents keep the excrement picked up....which is highly unusual in other places I toured...and complex will even dna test to find out who leaves anything behind if not. The pool is very clean, great gym, the outdoor grills are well kept- one set even is under a timber framed beautiful sitting area with a large stone outdoor fireplace. Trash compactor outside, recycling, extra dumpster for large items. Close to Publix. Beautiful views are the cherry on top! Love it here- Thanks @TheCrestatLaurelCanyon for a great experience!

What can I say... Terrible. I wouldnt recommend this apartment complex at all. Apartments are very nice, clean and the property is well maintained BUT, the office is terrible. Terrible customer service. I had to drive 3 HOURS to close out the apartment since they refused to take my keys a WEEK prior with everything paid including my rent for that month. Also, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT FOR NO REASON!!!! my apartment was clean, I made sure of it before I left. not even dust INSIDE the cabinets.

Beautiful and clean area. I lived here for a year and came to the conclusion early that less I interact with the staff the better it is for my residency. Maintenance was rude and borderline demeaning (I am a minority). Front office refuse to help on the issue. Also no follow up on moving out or dealing with fees, very disappointed in customer service, more than likely never renting here or with parent company.

Moved from out of state a couple weeks ago, I contacted the leasing office and they were extremely pleasant to work with. They found an apartment that fit my needs perfectly, and got my application approved very quickly. Was able to move-in, in just a few days!

I looked at these apartments when my company opened a Canton office and while they were beautiful and seemed to be full of nice amenities, the office staff was incredibly rude to me. It was essentially a group of cliquey sorority girls. I also found the location to be very remote and really only good for families and the retired.So glad that I waited as the Atlanta office I moved to had much better options for singles.

We have lived at the Crest for a few months now and have been very happy here! We love the pool and clubhouse area. My family that has visited comment that it feels like they’re on vacation. The gym is very clean and nice and has enough equipment to save me from having to get a gym membership. There’s plenty of green space for my young girls to play, run, and ride their bikes. We also have two dogs, so I love how pet friendly the complex is. The office workers are friendly and make you feel at home. Signing the lease and getting moved in was a very smooth process. Overall I would highly recommend the Crest at Laurel Canyon!

Move in process has been SUPER easy. The Crest at Laurel Canyon is the best place we’ve lived thus far! Our home doesn’t even feel like an apartment. The staff are always so friendly and eager to help our needs. Maintenance orders are taken care of quickly and professionally as well.The amenities are by far efficient and we are thankful to have them!We love to call this place our home!

I have lived here for almost 3 months and absolutely love it! Any issue I have had, which have been very minor, were dealt with promptly. The office staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the day I toured back in March, the day of move in, and continue to show the same courtesy whether it be over the phone or in person if I go to the office to pick up a package. The apartments themselves are wonderful, and to me the best quality, they are quiet! I definitely recommend this community for the value, location, and environment of the grounds and amenities.

I was going to look at leasing here, but their rent prices are way too expensive for the square footage offered. Ended up renting from another apartment very close to the area offering almost double the square footage for cheaper and same amenities. Definitely check your options before deciding on this place.

My wife and I are expecting our first child, and recently moved into a 3 bedroom apartment at The Crest. The apartments are very nice and spacious, and the community is beautiful. The common areas are very nice, and both the community and apartments are very safe. The Crests management staff and employees are always hospitable and helpful - reacting to a few special requests that we had very quickly. My wife and I have been very pleased to date, and would highly recommend to others.

We sold our house and the closing on our new house fell through at inspection. We were living temporarily with my parents and needed a short term lease very quickly. Ali, the asst property mgr, is super friendly, helpful, accommodating, and efficient. A unit that fit our needs was available, and we were able to move in 24 hours later. The community and property is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. There are many resident activities, such as resident breakfast, walking club, trivia and yoga. The pool is beautiful and the fitness center is great. There are grills located throughout the property for resident use, a gazebo with grills and couches in the center, and a putting green for children. It is walking distance to Publix, which comes in pretty handy! The courtesy officer, who is very responsive and friendly, is on call if there is any issue with which you need assistance. There are several police officers living in the community and the atmosphere is safe, secure and worry free. With one exception, every resident we met was welcoming, kind and friendly. We were only there for 2 months, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would very much recommend the community. And again, a special thanks to Ali for making a stressful time for us so smooth and easy.

So far, this is an amazing place to live. My leasing agent, Crystal, was and still is amazing. She is extremely committed to making sure my experience at The Crest is a memorable one! I am always asking her questions and she is always providing prompt responses. If you like a quiet and spacious living environment, then I highly recommend The Crest.

I love it here and plan on staying awhile. The apartments are fabulous they really are tastefully done and offer lots of amenities. Great location - it’s quiet but close to shopping dining etc... The leasing staff and maintenance team are top notch!

Our experience at the Crest at Laurel Canyon has been nothing but wonderful! Due to a really quick sell on our house and our new construction not being completed, we landed at the Crest for a short term lease (the only short term option in the area). The office staff was great to work with during move in- very helpful and thorough! Our 2 year old LOVES the pool and the putting green (putt putt course as he calls it). The fact that we were able to bring our dog with us made it even better! The facilities are very clean and our neighbors are all super friendly. It’s been a wonderful short experience for us!

Went to tour the apartment community and was blown away. Such a beautiful community and perfect area to raise a family, Very friendly staff. Also, shout out to the Assistant Manager Ally for being an absolute pleasure during the application process and helping make my experience much enjoyable.

The Crest at Laurel Canyon provides excellent living conditions along with a super professional staff. We recently added an animal onto our lease, and they have no breed restrictions, weight limits, or pet rent! which adds immense value.

Ive lived here for about 3 months, and it feels like Im living at a resort. The appliances and furnishings are fancy, and the office staff are very responsive to the community needs. I had a meal delivery kit once, and one of the staff even offered to put it in my apartment, out of the heat. The things that are issues at other apartments - like noise, trash, privacy - are non-issues here. Living here is well worth the cost, and you get more than what youd get for a comparable price elsewhere. I feel pampered here. I feel at home.

Great communities for tenants and their animals. Friendly neighbors and fun activities to get to know one another. Great staff who is courteous and understanding. Centrally located and fair pricing. I would recommend without reservation. Lived in communities for 18 months and counting.

They always have cool activities for residents and the pool, gym and club room are pretty enjoyable.Crystal Deese and the other ladies in the office are polite and always willing to help me out.Can’t say enough good things about this place.

We are residents here, We loved in the begging the staff was very attentive. But after a year here my biggest complain is maintanance is not the best they take their sweet time to fix stuff around but the office is very quick when you have a past due balance which I am not happy about. They even put letters on your door if you dont pay but when it comes to something that you need theyre as quick as I WISH they were. We LOVE the pool here but the appartments dont have enough space for storage.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO MOVE!! I’m moving to the area from the coast very last minute and my partner and I were in need of something quickly. We both are relocating and it has been a difficult process because of the fact that we are 5 hours away plus COVID-19 so we can’t really tour in person. We tried to communicate with multiple different complexes in the area but we kept getting their voicemails and unanswered emails. We saw The Crest at Laurel Canyon was doing a rent special and immediately jumped on it. I mean, have you seen the amenities? Apparently they do rent specials frequently so if that’s something that’s important to you call and ask them because that was important to us given all of our other moving expenses. Jenna has been our leasing specialist and has been nothing but an actual gem to us. She literally got us screened and approved into an apartment in TWO DAYS!!! She responds to any and all emails, even to all of my random questions. I haven’t even moved in yet and I’m seriously so impressed. We can’t say enough nice things about Jenna and this complex but just know we are so thankful for you and how easy you guys have made this process. This is our 4th apartment complex we’ve lived in and by far the most professional. We can’t wait to move in!

We kept our apt as clean as could be and were charged for new carpets when we moved out. Melissa was very rude when I tried to get an explanation. We did not damage the carpets, they are thieves. Also, they are hurting for tenants so bad they sent out an email saying they would welcome all pitbulls. Within a few months there were plenty of pit bulls all over the complex. So disappointed I rented here!

I moved here with my family 6 months ago. I love this place. Peaceful place to rest after a long day working. Great staff working at the leasing office. No worries about neighbors, great people. You can enjoy the four seasons in many ways with a lot of amenities. If possible, I will stay here for the next two years..

I’ve been living here for over a year and on my second lease. I couldn’t be happier with the office and maintenance staff. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. If you communicate your needs they will accommodate as best they can. I live in building 9000 and my close proximity to the mailbox and trash compactor makes my location perfect. The location of the complex itself is desirable simply because it isn’t visible from the main road so therefore very secluded. I really can’t come up with anything after my 1+ year here that has irked me to the point of making it soil my opinion of this community. It does come with a lofty price tag. With that being said, if it’s within your budget, I don’t think there’s a better community in Canton than The Crest at Laurel Canyon (as far as apartments are concerned).

Apartments are beautiful but the staff are very unprofessional. I’ve seen management changed 3 times since living here, and I wish they would have kept the first group of staff members. They need to really work on customer service skills and how to treat and communicate with there tenants. All around the staff could use some improvement including maintenance. Neighbors are lovely and the outline of the complex is amazing. Always love to show off the area to family and friends but wouldn’t recommend living here if this is the staff “The Laurel Crest” continue to move forward with. I’ve spoken to other neighbors and they feel the same way.

The landscaping is beautiful! The apartments are awesome, with all the upscale amenities. The office staff are terrific and quick to respond on any issues you may experience.

The staff is really friendly and very helpful with any issues that may arise. The property is clean and kept in good shape. This is a great place to live and so far the neighbors are nice and havent had any issues yet. Its a gated complex so it makes it feel a little more safe. The one thing that I dislike is the mail and its not the fault of the apartment complex but the UPS drivers dont know how to deliver a package to the right door.

I recently applied to live here I would not recommend it. Not only did I have a ton of problems with the staff trying to relocate me to another apartment due to plumbing issues after I had put a deposit down, they refused to refund me after I didn’t want to move to another apartment on the 3rd floor. After they realized I had found somewhere else to go, everything magically was fixed. Very shady business practices and lack of communication. I opted for The Grand Reserve at Canton which offers apartments that are double the size at less of a cost with more amenities only 2 miles down the road. They are brand new and will not charge you any fees when applying. Renter beware of The Crest!!

Nice clean luxury apartments with amazing amenities (i.e. putting green, dog park, pool, gym). The staff is also amazing and they resolve any issues in a timely manner. I would recommend to anyone.

I am a college student and living at the Crest has met my needs And much more! Affordable living, beautiful neighborhood, involved community, and lovely neighbors. I couldn’t ask for a better neighborhood!

Easy to move in bit the nice look of the apartment doesnt hold up too well. The floors peeled up after a few months. Maintenance would leave project half done at times and leave tools. Office staff are seemingly friendly but felt like scam artist by the time I moved out. Remember to give two months notice before end of lease or they with charge an extra two months rent.

We LOVE Krista and her team! Amazing maintenance staff and beautiful grounds! They love their residents pets just as much as they love their own and the clubhouse is so welcoming and inviting! I’d live here forever if I could!!

I have never been so poorly treated in a professional exchange. Tried getting an apartment here for my college son and his roommates and were approved right away except for my son’s emotional support animal. They claimed we needed an in state doctor letter (letter we had was from out of state). Got the in state letter months ago and still not approved. We all felt targeted and/or discriminated against throughout the process. My son’s roommates mother was hung up on when she tried to get our move in information. We got nothing but unfair treatment and promises to call us back that never happened. They gave less than 48 hours (including a holiday where everyone was closed) notice for move in and wanted us to move in over a month before the time we wanted an apartment. No way to get all the pre-move in requirements done In that time. We abided by all of their “policies” in trying to move in, but it was like hitting a moving target. We jumped through so many hoops and just had to give up. Beautiful place, but not so beautiful in their treatment of potential clients/customers. College students and those easily impressed by the nice appearance be ware!

My husband was in charge of doing the cabinet and counter tops. I visited several times to help. The staff was always very helpful and quite nice. I love the finished product of the units. The pool area is very nice along with the common area. A great view as well.

They just want money!They will nickel and dime you for everything!We PAID the application fee and they accepted it, but told them we weren’t interested in moving in anymore ... now they want $125 for the “reservation” fee when we didn’t even reserve the apartment!Just because our application was accepted they assumed we were going to move in and went ahead and “reserved” the apartment without our consent! We did NOT sign anything saying we wanted the apartment reserved!!!

Not impressed, apartments are a newer but have cheap finishings. Staff was extremely unfriendly and did not seem to care I was there. Went elsewhere

Brand new apartments at Laurel Canyon. People are very nice and the place n very clean. They are finishing the last of the 10 apartment buildings. Great Vista views. Convenient location next to Publix. What to feel like you are on vacation everyday? Then this may be your place to call home.

I moved into The Crest at Laurel Canyon in March mostly to get closer to work. I was a little hesitant at first because of all the on-going construction. That, however has turned out to be a pointless worry. Everything here is moving along quickly with very little disturbances to the Tenants. The Apartment itself is very spacious and as modern as anyone could want. Personally the 9ft ceilings are my favorite thing, as being a very tall person Im used to having the ceiling right above my head. The appliances and everything inside the apartment is gorgeous and brand new. The Staff are exceeding friendly and always quick to help out in anyway possible. Its comfort, style, scenic and quiet. What more could you want?

Went up here to visit some friends at the time and had a get together at the community pool with some residents. Security was outrageous and ridiculous. They almost arrested my boyfriend for not showing them his ID when he didnt have it on him. Although, this place is very nice especially on the inside of the apartments with a decent view of the mountainside, I was disappointed. Excessive force by a security officer that wasnt even wearing a badge or any type of officer equipment should be terminated.

My fiancé and I have been living here for the last 6 months. We have nothing but positive things to say about the complex and staff. If you are looking for higher class apartments in the canton area, this is your place. We have had good experiences with the neighbors and the staff. No apartment complex is perfect, but this one is probably as close as you will find.

Amazing place! I cant believe how beautiful the apartments are and how many amenities they have for residents. I was looking in Woodstock or Kennesaw, but after checking this place out, I felt like I got more bang for my buck. No, they didnt ask me to write this. I really like being able to walk to the Publix grocery store, love my view. Love the free fitness classes. The Manager Krista and Ally and Taylor are so nice. I hope the company keeps this team happy.

I miss Living here but I had to move, The place was beautiful, the pool area was the best Ive EVER been at, the apartments were VERY Up to date and classy looking, we did have a small roach problem due to a hole where the oven plugged into the wall, but as far as just living, this place was Ideal.

New, clean, quiet, and well-manicured apartments right behind the Publix near Waleska, GA. Still under construction, yet this fact doesnt detract from the peaceful easy-going vibe of the complex. Very nice amenities including a pool, outdoor lounge, several outdoor grilling areas with ready-to-use gas grills, as well as a gym with new, higher end equipment and classes! Also available for a minimal monthly fee is the late-night, front door garbage pick-up service. Tennants are by-&-large friendly and respectful of one another.

Very nice community it should be it’s only around a year old. The staff is very friendly except the property manager is rude and very unprofessional. Overall very nice and clean community.

Good staff, but racial problems still exists, i am a disabled veteran. African american with a clean police record, and a college degree, my wife and I have a special needs child we both never been arrested, an anonymous tip came in that a marijuana smell came from my place, i ask the officer was he surr it was my place. Even though he did not have a warrant i still allowed him to enter my home. The police officer said that he smelled nothing and he appolgized for bothering me. I will not be renewing my lease when it comes up the staff are great. Everything else not so much.

Friendly staff, but the pool is a mess. Often dirty, and you never know when it will be open. The sign says Dawn to dusk but some days its 8am, some days 9am, others who knows? Since the clubhouse is the center of the community (and very nice), its misleading to rent here based on touring a facility thats so irregular in hours.UPDATE: 12:15 on a Monday and the pool is closed again! Im told it will re-open later today (just in time for rain). Since its not open early in the morning, youd think they could clean it then. Dont move here if getting in the pool is part of your plans.

Clear communication is lacking. If you encounter an issue there is a huge struggle to get resolution.
