Dropped my car off on a Thursday night for a Friday 7:45am appointment. The dealership never called me about my car. I called them Monday and they couldn’t find the paperwork for it (aka they forgot about it and don’t look at it).They called me back four hours later saying they needed to keep my car over night. No apology or offer for a rental car.

This was my first visit to Ontario Mazda and the visit was first quality from start to finish. They were very helpful and courteous and performed the needed work very well and on time. My car is still under warranty and my service rep. made sure all warranty coverage was applied. While I was waiting another customer took the time to share his positive experiences with Ontario over a number of years.

I came in to explore my options of buying my leased car or leasing a new one. After talking with Matt Farago, I decided to go with a new car lease. Matt was very helpful in making that decision. Also, I had injured my arm and needed a lot of assistance with all the paperwork. He handled it all, even had a way to electronically sign my name on all papers. He knew his product. I feel he was very honest with me in his advice. I’m very pleased with my entire experience!

I was in the market for a new vehicle and had my eye on getting a Mazda 3 Hatchback. They are beautiful vehicles. Matt Farago of Ontario Mazda reached out to me after I submitted an online request for information. I was looking for a vehicle with manual transmission, which are a little more rare to come by. However, Matt immediately went to work for me to find all the available options. He informed me of the possibilities of them locating a vehicle for me or me doing a custom order. He also thoughtfully answered several questions I had about the vehicles performance in snow and options for tires. For financial reasons I was still a little reluctant to move forward at that time and I was in no rush.Matt was very understanding of my situation and I never felt any pressure. He did know what I wanted though and periodically followed up with me for months about what was available.In comparison, a couple of other dealers I contacted were slow to respond and didnt show the same amount of care I felt from Matt about trying to find something for me.Ultimately we decided to buy a different used vehicle through an online site, but I was so impressed with the level of service, that I felt I wanted to do this review.If Im ever in the market for a Mazda again, I would definitely go to Ontario Mazda first, even though there are 2 other Mazda dealers closer to me. Ask for Matt!Highly recommended!

Getting my car serviced for 4 recalls asked for a free loner and was given the same make, model and year as my car which was great until I got in it. Its dirty, smells like smoke, missing parts inside, the visor is being held on with duck tape. My car is a 2011 not brand new but I expected better compared to other dealerships Ive felt with.

Had Android Auto installed, he went above and beyond to personally show me in my vehicle how to navigate through it, making sure everything worked perfectly before I drove off!! I purchased a 2020 Mazda MX-5 Miata from Ontario Mazda this past June. I’ve been to several dealerships, many salesman don’t take me seriously because I’m a young guy who looks fresh out of high school. This wasn’t the case at Ontario Mazda they made sure I was comfortable and happy with my visit. They offered to let me test drive a brand new manual car which I have never been able to do at any other place. The salesman was very knowledgeable taking me through every part of the car and answering all of my questions. They were willing to work with me with my trade in to give me a deal I felt good about. Great place to buy a car!

Service was excellent but their were a number of employees wondering around without masks which made me uncomfortable. It was obvious management was not there. The guy in the red Mazda hoodie was especially mask adverse. Also the young lady with the vacuum could care less. It’s clear to me Ontario doesn’t care about the health of their customers.

I called yesterday to make an appt for a recall that has already shut my car down once this week. I was told a couple of people were at lunch and I would get a call back when someone came back. I got no call back. I just called again and got a message to leave a message. This recall problem drained my battery dead and I needed to get a jump. They should take this more seriously. This is not the first time I was told Id get a call back and no one called back.

Ontario Mazda was a great experience from the first moment I called in search of a new vehicle. Every employee I talked to throughout the process was respectful, pleasant and patient in explaining details I wanted to know. The General Sales Manager Joe, is a very personable guy. As soon as we spoke, he reminded me of a father or grandfather, felt like he was really looking to help me and not himself. He’ll cut you an honest deal from the start. I never felt pressured during any part of the process, as I’m sure some dealerships can make you feel when buying a car. I drove over two hours to work with them, when there were 3 other mazda dealerships closer to me, just because of how they treated me. If honest and reliable is what you’re looking for, this is it. I left with my new suv feeling great, and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer in the future.

Service department at Ontario Mazda is second to none. Was planning on spending a good chunk of money on brakes on my 2016 Mazda 3. Dropped the car off. Service manager (Tyler??) was waiting my arrival. Handed over my keys, he gave me the keys to a sweet loaner, and said he would call with any concerns. Same afternoon he called back and said the brakes are still in good shape, and didnt need to be replaced, but just serviced. They could have stuck it to me with a full brake job but instead only did what was needed at a small fraction of what i thought i would be paying. These guys are fantastic. Nice to see that they are honest with what needs to be done to your car. My next car this summer will be from Ontario Mazda or Ontario Honda. Fantastic!!

The work was performed.as scheduled, however, the scope of the recall included adding a subframe brace and coating with wax. Shortly after the repair, I changed my oil and I did not notice any additional subframe bracing and I question the effectiveness of coating the subframe with wax without first degreasing, and/or cleaning/blasting the metal. It could be that I didnt know what to look for but Im not convinced any bracing was installed. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the repair was not lengthy. Maybe it should have taken longer?

If I could leave zero stars I would. Ontario Mazda changed my oil and did not refill it with oil. The dipstick was dry and the red oil light went on. I asked Ontario Mazda to perform some non-invasive tests to determine if the engine was damaged. They refused. I would not recommend this dealership

Long story short: Not The BestI took my CX5 here for warranty work. Basically my entire car needed to be repainted since it was chipping off all over the place. Mazda agreed to pay a good portion of the work, and I didn’t mind paying to have my car look like new again. So I took my car to the body shop so they could take photos and assess the work to be done. The guy exclaimed that he had to take some crazy amount of pictures since there were so many problem areas. He had to label each individual one and send it to Mazda. He later called with the estimate and told me what it would cost to get the car repainted. I thought the price seemed high, but it was a lot of work, so I agreed.So I dropped my car off there and for 10 days to do the work. They gave me a loaner vehicle that was filled with trash, crumbs, and the last persons personal belongings. It clearly had not been cleaned at all....We are in a pandemic.... Anyway, I need a car for work, so I wiped it down and used it without complaining. The very next morning there was a massive cockroach on the dash board that I preceded to kill.So a week later I get a call that my car is ready. I drive down to pick it up. Aaaaanand they didn’t paint the whole car. They painted the hood, front left door, and bumpers. They did not paint the drivers side doors, the back left door or the top of the car. All these areas clearly have missing chips. I thought that they were going to clean up ALL of the chipping paint, but apparently that wasn’t indicated in the original estimate. Shame on me for not asking for a full written estimate before giving the thumbs up. But look, I recognize my own faults, and I should have read the fine print before signing the dotted line.So, tongue in cheek, I go to pay. Now I want to see all of the paperwork and see what I really paid for. He shows my the estimate and, true enough, the unpainted areas of the car are not on the estimate sheet. I ALSO notice that I was charged me for tax twice on a small section of work. When I point this out the guy fights me trying to say I’m wrong. After explaining to him the error several times, he recognizes that someone did mess up. Fortunately he fixes the invoice. It was only a $25 difference, but at this point my car isn’t all the way fixed and I feel like I got swindled.Okay for the silver lining: the areas that were actually painted look very nice.Sorry for the long review.

Leased a 202 CX5 and there was a malfunction part on the rear hatch which kills the battery dead. They never notified us on the recall and I had to get the vehicle there through my roadside assistance on Gieco.(saved by them) When we asked to have them deliver it back to us all we was told was oh sorry thats not our policy!! So mind you its a lease vehicle and there 1 1/2 hors from where we live. Goes to show you its all about a sale and a sales pitch. I dont recommend this dealership for leasing or buying.

My encounter with Ontario Mazda where is concerning a simple maintenance procedure on my car. I contacted Sarah in-service and she was pleasant and accommodating from the start.Since my vehicle is not even a Mazda in the back of your mind you wonder if they would show the same consideration as somebody that actually purchased a vehicle there. Sarah and the service team obliterated my concern and were stellar and not being simply professional but also personable I actually came back and commented to my wife how well they treated meI am in an intense sales position and have been for 27 years and it’s very rare to be treated like I treat the people that I serve I most assuredly give them five stars
