There aren’t many places that a Veteran can access their healthcare benefits in MD. This is one that serves The suburban and rural areas beyond the reach of the Flagship DC VAMC. It has been a delight for me to schedule my outpatient blood draws. You have to call and get scheduled. It’s because the results are being sent outside of this facility’s ordering physicians and they want to keep your eMR accurate. The healthcare clinical staff embodies and reflects the Best Healthcare of our Nation. The VA demands this no matter where the services are provided. The phlebotomists here are Blue Ribbon good. It doesn’t matter how many vials they gotta fill, just sit back, close your eyes and get your “looney toons” band-aid at the end. I guarantee you won’t feel a thing. I’m sure it’s that secret hypnotic skill all vampires (not to be taken as derogatory) seem blessed with. A big Kudos of love to all the Phlebotomists.
