I have used the same office in Cameron park CA for the last six years and have not had a problem with my tax returns.

I went here on February 4th and did my taxes, but they werent submitted until February 16th & 17th.The taxes were simple and should have been submitted the same day , not 12 & 13 days later.Also , the service is way overpriced !Also , I received a reply from H&R Block saying that I should call the support team and give them the opportunity to make it right , but when I called the number I received a recorded message saying that they were too busy to take my call. ☹I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I used Pat at the Cameron Park, CA office. I could watch the second screen while she was inputting the information I provided. I also have my paperwork prepared - spreadsheets and all - so there is no need to go through receipts, etc. Its all there on my spreadsheet although I do have the backup in my files if necessary. The process was very easy and I had no problem asking questions and getting answers. Pat was very accommodating when I asked for advice regarding next years concerns and about old tax records. Also what information is necessary when I get ready to sell my house. Its location is only 5/10 minutes from me so very convenient.

Shout out to H&R Block for getting me in and out so quickly and great customer service. Thank you H&R.

Great customer service but I feel they have a severe problem with false advertising when it came to the price on my bill. All the advertisements said 59$ mine was 163$ and I had an extremely easy tax return. Im very new at this so I was very confused even though my tax person explained everything repeatedly. I did feel like she did try to help me the best she could and Id refer her to any family member or friend but not the company itself.

The friendliness! I immeditely felt like “part of the family” and could trust I was going to be well-taken care of. As my aunt has been the person doing my taxes for several years, this made the transition so much easier!

The tax professional that assisted us was completely incompetent. She filed our taxes incorrectly, wrongly had us file MFJ when fining together would have been more beneficial, messed up the income on my husbands return, had to call us back in twice in a week to try and fix them. Just bad experience all the way around. We used H&R for years prior but never again.

This is google user Keisha Linder!!If you were a part resident of California 2018 then dont waste your time filing with H & R Block. My over all experience was a nightmare. I originally went to the Office on fulton ave to get my taxes done, while in the office i was told the system would not pick up my state EIC( I was there for several hours, watching as they tried to figure this issue out) I was told that state was not excepting so they would speak with mangement & get the issue fixed before state accepted my return. So a few weeks went by & i was notfied my state was recieved without my EIC credit. I called H & R on fulton & rhe manger Elijah Peters told me that he would look into this & call me back next day. NEVER HAPPENED! So i went by his office waited 45mins and finally got to speak with him. He assured he would look into the issue, i then asked if i could get a refund because my taxes were not done correctly or in a timely manner. He said he would speak with mangement.Elijah Peters called me back rhw next day & said there was A BUG IN THERE SYSTEM. He would be working to fix the software. We would have to amend my state return. I called the Big CORPORATE OFFICE, and a lady named KAY THOMPSON WAS ASSIGNED TO MY COMPLAINT. She then made me a appointment for rhe fulton OFFICE to amend my tax return. So I go to fulton office the day of my appointment & they have NO RECORD OF THE APPOINTMENT, THEN MY ORGINAL SENIOR TAX PREPAROR ZANNAH SAYS I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY FEDERAL TAXES TO COME & I ALSO NEED TO FILE SINGLE BC THATS THE ONLY WAY THE SYSTEM WILL PICK UP MY EIC FOR PARTIAL RESIDENT.So i wasted my time once again.NOT TO MENTION IM HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD. I spoke with CAROL FROM THIS LOCATION & SHE TELLS ME I DONT QUALIFY FOR THE CREDIT!! So this company went from a BUG IN THE SYSTEM, FILING SINGLE & LASTLY I DID NT QUALIFY!!! SO i went & got several other opinions for tax services. Turns out i was shorted 2700.00 and had to pay 150 bucks to amend somewere else!!! So I called KAY THOMPSON AT THIS LOCATION & asked for a full refund of the 335.00 they charged me for basically being incompetent. She then gets back to me & says there only willing to give me the 100 bucks i paid for state filing back. And why do i feel i should get the whole amount. AFTER EXPLAINING OBVIOUS REASONS KAY THOMPSON AGREED TO A FULL REDUND & SAID I WOULD RECIEVE A CHECK WITH MY REFUND. NO CHECK YET, I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE TODAY, so ill update my review when i hear something! OH AND IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 3MONTHS FOR ME TO GET MY MONEY FROM THE AMENDMENT, SO THANKS H & R BLOCK FOR MAKING MY KIDS WAIT FOR MONEY THERE MOM WORKED FOR!!

I had my worse experience ever there. Ive Been doing my taxes with them for 7 years, this being the eighth year with h&r block. I used jerry at the placerville office for 6 of those years. He was great, more than great, he was funny and fast and experienced but most of all knowledgable. He is no longer with H&R Block and since i live closer to the Cameron Park office I started going there. Last year was ok, it was no Jerry but it was fairly quick and I felt she knew what she was doing. This year I get a girl whos English is very broken to the point where I was really having difficulty communicating with her. Not only could I not understand her she couldnt understand me as well. I wish that was the only problem but she also didnt have a clue what she was doing and had to continually stop and ask for help. My normally 30 minute taxes took over 2hrs. To top that off I had to return the next day to finish because she hadnt found everything. Plus she took it upon herself to change information previously entered and approved by a higher up and then not file my taxes. Because of this my advance was denied and my credit ran for no reason. I was so disapointed with her imcompatance and with the others who COULD see my frustration. She just kept trying to explain but I couldnt understand her and once again I was clearly waisting my time with this unkwoledgable girl. I said a few choice words and left. H&R Block I will not be going back to. Please employ people who know what they are doing. Thats why I pay for my taxes to be done. I ended up filing for myself saving me almost $500. Thanks for savings.

Way to much money. I could of did it my self for what i got done !!!!

Had to file for an amendment since I missed filing a year back. A month later I get a letter from the IRS saying that I owed over $2K. I called this branch to get it resolved since I paid extra in case something like this would happen. Turns out nobody knew what to do. Im not going to name any employees but I basically had to figure out on my own that the consultant had messed up the form by filing incorrectly and so the IRS had bad information that was resulting me to have to pay these fees. Needless to say, I got on the phone with the IRS and fixed the form. Got my refund back after all that confusion. I will definitely TurboTax next year since I didnt even get a callback from this branch about this issue that they screwed up! Also, the consultant fee is over $200 and if they screw up on your form, they still keep their money!
