I almost dont want to write this review because its a hidden treasure ! I was looking for a place close by to change the oil in my small motorhome. I called and talked to a very nice lady who made me an appointment for the next morning. I was greeted by Nick and he checked me in and said they would do a 77 point inspection. A couple hours later it was done and they even offered to pick me up. Great place Great service will be back JIM

No one beats Autotronics! They do excellent work and are very honest. I had a problem yesterday when I noticed a ton of oil coming out from my car, I called them thinking there would be a wait due to the shortage of mechanics and I was worried the problem would get worse.... however Nick the service manager came to the rescue and got me in the next morning, turns out it was a simple fix and nothing too serious. All the employees here treat you like family and they will take good care of you. Im happy I finally found a good mechanic!

Ive consistently come back to Autotronics because they do good work and are quick and professional. The cost isnt always cheap, especially for parts but Im sure they are higher quality than what you get at the chain automotive stores. I would definitely recommend anybody to go here. It was my very first time taking my car into a shop, i was a bit nervous, and they were all super friendly! Completely eased my nerves, and described in detail what was wrong with my brakes, and how long they would last. I learned a lot just from walking in. They diagnosed the A/C issues, and door actuator issues I had, and worked diligently on my behalf with my warranty company to get a major portion of the work performed covered under at the warranty company expense. Wiley was in constant communication and keeping me posted on the back and forth with the warranty company. All work was done professionally, even a full cleaning of my truck before I picked it up.I would recommend them to anyone close to the Cameron Park area, even Placerville, Georgetown, Cool, Lotus, Camino, Plymouth, Somerset, Pilot Hill, EDH, Folsom, Rancho Murieta, etc... Great experience at Autotronics! :) They were very clear with me about what I was being charged for and Im a big fan of the itemized receipt you get when you pick up your car. They didnt try and do anything extra to charge me more, only gave me recommendations for what I might want to think about doing in the future. As a young woman pretty ignorant about car maintenance and repairs, its a big deal to me that they spoke to me with respect and understanding and never tried to scare me into spending more money. I put in a review a while back, but don’t see it now. I was there a few years ago for a problem they fixed, but was told I needed front brakes. I took it to our longtime mechanic, who told us we had at least 5,000 miles left on them. I went about 5,500 miles. From the reviews it appears everyone highly recommends them, so maybe things have changed.

Took our car here after the check engine light went on. I had gotten the code which pointed to a speed sensor. After doing some quick diagnostics, I discovered that it may not be a simple replacement of sensor. We had taken a previous vehicle to them and they were complete with their diagnostics and repair. Decided to take this issue to them and Im glad we did! They first tried the simple sensor replacement and discovered the problem was more complex. However, they took the time necessary to find the real issue and completed the repairs. Great job and if I need to take our vehicles to someone again it will be Autotronics.

I have been taking our 3 vehicles to Autotronics for over 10 years. They are honest, on time, reasonable cost wise, and have gone above and beyond when needed. I had a transmission break in Orange County on my 350Z, and needed to have it repaired there at another shop to get back home here. The transmission broke again after returning to Cameron Park. Autotronics called the other shop on my behalf to work out the warranty repair, and got my transmission repaired. They are my go to repair facility for life.

Super good service, I came in with every single light on my Subaru (Subaru things) and drove away with none on!

Autotronics saved me $8000.00!!Rodents chewed up multiple wires causing an error light on my Nissan Sentra. The dealer wanted $8K to replace the whole wiring harness. (They would have to remove the engine to do that). Autotronics did an excellent repair job on the wires for only a few 100 dollars! This is just one example of several where they have saved me a bundle by doing careful diagnostics and only replacing what needs to be replaced.

I wish I could give this place six stars. While on a road trip my Honda CR-V broke down just outside of Cameron Park. I wouldnt have wanted to break down anywhere else because I wouldnt have wanted to leave my car with anyone else but Autotronics. Not only were Nick and the rest of the staff friendly and warm, but incredibly responsible and knowledgeable. Although only diagnostics were done, (I was able to do the repairs myself at home thanks to the guidance this shop provided!) I would trust this shop to do any work on my car as I felt that I was given total transparency and upon that an eagerness to help.We were able to get a smooth, well taken care of truck to loan for just $20 a day! Thanks to Autotronics, my friends and I were able to continue on our road trip not only with an affordable and reliable loaner car, but with the knowledge that my car would be safe and well taken care of while we were away. When it was time for us to return the loaner car and return on our way home Nick went out of his way to help make the process as easy as possible and agreed to keep our car an extra day until the tow company could come retrieve it from him. I needed to replace my battery in my 2016 Tahoe which was a little more complicated than expected. I was not able to get the battery out. I talked to Rod about my problem and he came to my home and helped me get the battery out and got the new one installed. Not only that, Rod retrieved a ratchet that I had dropped and was lodged into the fan shroud. I am very grateful for the service and would highly recommend Autotronics for anyone who needs car repairs.

I went to this shop because they had such high reviews. They quoted me almost 900 dollars to change an oil pan (which is a 38 dollar part I might add) and I was charged 100 dollars for them to inspect my car and have them tell me my oil pan was cracked even though I never asked for an inspection and I told them over the phone that my oil pan was cracked. I went to a different shop and they said they could do the same exact job for 250 dollars. Thankfully I was not scammed here and found a better business. Take your car to a different shop or do the work yourself and save your bank account.

Absolutely the best mechanic I’ve ever taken my car to. For 45$ got an oil change with free wiper blades and a full inspection. They send a digital copy of your inspection to you with pictures attached to show you anything they see under the car that needs replacing/fixing. They also give you a complimentary wash and vacuum. I will take my car here from now on and strongly recommend them to anyone who needs auto work done.

SO nice to find automotive repair I can trust! Not only did they do a great job fixing my Jeep starter, they did a 77 point inspection that identified particulate in my transmission fluid that was still under warranty elsewhere. Nick was super helpful in identifying stuff I needed and stuff that could wait, and was very professional and friendly. Great staff, great waiting area, and they washed my car and disinfected the drivers side. They gave me a courtesy ride to/from my nearby home and kept me posted. Also very mindful about safe COVID-19 practices. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

The service was phenomenal. I took my vehicle to Autotronics for a tune up and due to their great service they found things that was wrong with the car that I didnt even know was wrong with their 44 point inspection. I got all the maintenance done at a fair price in a short time. They also offered as many discounts as possible on their Million Mile membership.

This is a family-owned operation that is handled very professionally and courteously. I have used them for close to 20 years.

I usually troubleshoot and repair my own vehicles, but Ive now had 2 vehicles repaired by Autotronics for issues that I was unable to diagnose and resolve myself. Their staff has always been professional and helpful (not trying to upsell me) and most importantly, they were able to determine the root cause and resolution to both problems. Their rates are very reasonable, considering the quality of their work and how they stand behind it.

If I could leave 10 stars I would!! I was visiting a client up in Cameron Park today, and when I left I noticed my tire pressure light was on and my back tire was severely underpressure. I found Autotronics and the Service Manager was so friendly and accomodating! Even though the shop was overlflowing with work, he fit me in and repaired my tire so I could get home to Carmichael. I brought my daughters recently purchased used car in for service not know exactly what to expect as far as repair costs. They suggested we start with the basic oil/filter change and 44 point inspection and go from there. I was surprised it only needed a new air filter. What impressed me was they did not try to sell me any repairs I did not need. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I called Autotronics on Monday and was able to get my car in the same day. It wasn’t blowing cold air. Ac work. So I dropped it off and later in the day, Nick called me. He stated that a hose broke, that it needed a new hose and a recharge along with the cabin filter. It was barely blowing air cause it needed to be changed. That by tomorrow I’ll have ac and it’ll blow stronger. Woohooo!!!! Haha best news I’ve heard all year. Got a call the next morning that it would be ready in 20 mins. When I picked my car up, it was vacuumed, disinfected and washed. And to my surprise there was a solar powered windmill in my front seat. (It went right in the yard when I got home. Thanks Guys!) Been taking my two cars there for 8 years and cant complain about their service. Very friendly shop and office personnel. The service mgr explains things very well and quotes prices pretty close. He does call after the inspection of the repair needed and give you a price quote. Im very satisfied with their service. A comfort feeling to know you car is being cared for by great service personal. Oil change on regular bases, free inspections, tire pressure check, rotate tires, and free car wash all at the same time, no need to buy a new car. I have used Autotronics a handful of times over the last several years. They have consistently provided good service. They make getting car repairs as convenient as possible. They are always so friendly and accommodating. I picked up one of my cars yesterday and was pleased to find that the bill was only $80. Something was draining my battery, but we couldnt figure out what. Autotronics determined the power seat button had gotten stuck and drained the battery. I was very pleased that they only charged $80 to find the problem. I felt like other auto repair places might have taken the opportunity to charge a lot more for that. I never feel ripped off when I bring my vehicles to Autotronics, and that is why I will continue to use them for any auto repairs I need.
