They have rules but they dont but they been them. You will see people getting high on the property. There always police and ambulance going there for someone overdose on drugs. Staff treat you like you are not human, Ill say 85 prevent of staff there just for money. Really not their to help you.Truly it should be for Veterans trying get help instead have everyone that is homeless sharing the building.

My Experience at Vision of Hope in Camden was enlightening and almost deadly. Thats not meant as a play on words. I was in eminenent danger every night I stayed.I have to use a breathing device called a CPAP machine. Dispite alerting the the staff and facilities management the deadly event occurred not once, twice, but three times between May 6th 2019- June 30th, 2019.After the 3rd time I walked out and slept in my car. Id choose life over and uncomfortable bed in environment not suited for decent human beings. No need to kick a guy when hes Down. The counselor assigned to me was a helpful young woman by the name Ms. Cole. She listened but unfortunately little was done.I will never forget the Althea Right Vision of Hope.I doubt if mission statement is consistent with the daily operations.Words are empty when they lack action.

Shelter plus staff has the information to put you on the right track.

If you are temporarily living here, you will find little privacy and negative influences of the staff and other clients all around this place. All this negativity will make it harder for you. If you are a mental patient like me, it will be much harder you to cope with your group or individual therapies. Also, the atmostphere outside the facility is garbage. If I were you, I would not go one hundred yards from it.

Terrible overdoses everyday! 15 drugs sets located within1 mile of shelter. Caseworkers consisted of early 20 year old women who didnt have s clue about addiction/homelessness. I was worse off when I left shelter than I was when I arrived.the system is set up for failure.
