I had two bad tires and one blew out down the street from these guys. They made time for me in their busy schedule. They worked quick, fast and in a hurry and reasonably priced.

Went for an inspection. Very easy. I had to figure out where to go park my car, but the service was helpful and informative, and the people were nice. Would definitely go back.

93 oct a bit more expensive than other places, but I buy my E85 from here. The E85 tests around E79-81. Tested 11/2/20 12/5/20 1/1/21 all around E80 mark.It’s good quality, the other place in Boston is around E70-75

Every time I have important work that needs to be done on my car, I have taken it to a dealer for their expertise, familiarity and ease of ordering parts. However, I often feel overcharged. I tried going to this automotive repair shop, and I am so happy I did. I was greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable owner Oudy, who walked me through every step of the process to fix my vehicle with honesty and transparency. The work he did was fast, affordable and done with a smile. He is very competent, and his service was exceptional. And to go the extra mile, while my car was in his shop, he comped me a water and a ride home which are just the kind of personal touches that make a big difference in a customer experience. All factory parts, installed with confidence, and no problem striking issues I didn’t want to deal with at the time from the job. Nice guy, knows his business inside and out and wants to deliver at the Shell.

Best service. You can definitely trust them 100%. I met the owner Udi who himself took care of getting me new set of tires and recommending other services that were required to be done. Im not expert in most of the technical stuff but I trusted them it really turned out to be a great experience. There we no extra charges other than what he promised. This is my fix store for getting all the basic maintenance.

New owner. Good guy. High integrity. Doing things the right way. Fast, friendly and helpful service. For a small shop, have a good inventory to solve issues for a wide variety of vehicles. Reasonably priced. Wish theyd upgrade their food and snacks to something healthier, but maybe thats just what people buy at gas stations.

After changing oil here, the oil light came up on. The oil level stick did not even show trace of oil, and I needed to add three quarts to bring the oil level back to normal. They were either careless or cheating at the cost of customers safety.

Oudy did a great job explaining the service and getting repairs done quickly and for a reasonable price. Very friendly and professional, I was a little nervous about the new ownership at first, but Oudy did a great job and took great care of my car, would highly recommend him to anyone in the area. I’ll definitely be going back in the future.

I had an excellent experience at this Shell today - I managed to bend my wheel rim on a pothole in Cambridge and my tire went flat. I pulled my car into the service station hoping they could help. Not only were they able to work on my car right away, they were able to bend the rim back and then check to make sure the tire would hold air. When I asked how much I owed them, the manager cheerfully told me that it was free. Seriously impressed with the service and speed - highly recommend!

Owner Oudy was so kind and professional. I dropped off the car without an appointment and had new brakes and an exhaust leak fixed in under 3 hours. Oudy went through all cost estimates before doing any work and there were no surprises. Excellent service!

Highly recommend Oudi and his crew for any/all of your car needs! I brought my Infiniti in for an oil change and they found my front brakes were in rough shape...they were 100% right. They told me they had to order the parts in, but they managed to have it ready by end of day! When my car did not pass inspection, Oudy immediately took the time to diagnose the problem (old catalytic converter/exhaust system), explain the issue to me, and offer me a fair quote. The repair was done efficiently, and I was called promptly upon completion. Oudy even took the time to drive around the block with me after pickup when I was concerned about a sound that I had not heard before. Skilled, honest, affordable service. Brought my CR-V in for a state inspection sticker and Oudy pointed out that I would need front brake pads and rotors soon, which was exactly the one issue my dealership had warned me I would need soon, too. I called the next day and Oudy replaced the brakes in two hours with OEM parts for exactly 2/3 the dealerships quoted price.

I brought my car here a few days before Christmas. One tire was low, and I was afraid that it would soon be flat. I really didnt need the extra expense or inconvenience of buying a new tire at this busy time of year. Oudy helped me within minutes. He checked the tire, found nothing wrong, added air. I was on my way in 15 minutes with peace of mind. He was efficient and pleasant -- and wouldnt accept any payment for his service. I love the fact they do inspection from 8 am to 5 pm their repair shop is open the same hours and on Saturday they are open 8;30 to 1:30 pm CASH only for inspection! I do not mind their gas is a few since more expensive but the MAIN feature of this gas station is the fantastic repair garage! you pay a few since more per gas but the repair shop is very reasonable and I never have to wait in line for gas like those no name gas stations where you get half gas half who knows what.

Phillip is the most honest person Ive met. He is also very knowledgable and will solve your car problems very fast. I highly recommend this place.Last time he called me to say that he had spent less time than expected fixing my car and so he charged me only 25% of the original budget.

Magazine Beach Shell, simply the best and the most honest mechanics​ in the area. You cannot go wrong with these guys!!!

Dangerous and life-threatening. I tried to have my clutch replaced 4 times here, and they sent me on the road with a clutch that didnt work at all. I ultimately had a car accident when the clutch froze.Good News Garage, by contrast, fixes clutches on the first attempt. Theyve never had a follow-up visit and noted that mine had been improperly installed. Magazine Beach Shell wont refund my money for the faulty clutch, so I need to go through small claims court. I have found numerous other customers in the area who have had the same clutch experience--having the mechanics at Magazine Beach Shell replace a clutch but having it fail the first time back on the road! Phil is usually really nice, but hes been defensive in the wake of this nightmare incident and the fright of the crash. The whole thing was a big scare, because my little son was in the car. When I relayed this to Phil, he laughed and hung up. That was one of the most distressing aspects of this entire experience. Imagine laughing at a long-term customer who experienced a scary crash when the repair you were meant to do didnt work. Given what Ive now heard from other customers, along the same lines as my own experience, I think this handy neighborhood gas station is best for gas, oil changes, and inspections. If you need to replace moving parts, go to a super reliable place--just once, not four times--such as Good News Garage. You might pay a tad more for the repair at Good News Garage, but given my experience (specifically, that I had to end up paying for an entire new car after the accident with my frozen clutch), youll save money in the long haul when the mechanics do it right the first time. This has all been so dispiriting. Again, good place for easy stuff. Beware for any replacement work!

Even though weve moved two neighborhoods away, we still drive the extra distance when we need our car worked on. Theyre quick, honest, friendly, and know their stuff.

I had to get a couple things done on my car and was handled by the mechanic Phil. It was a very simple process, I was told to drop it off in the morning and they would call me later in the day. Everythings been working great since (~ 4 months ago).

Went in for state inspection and 3rd center tail light bulb was found blown. Shop manager/owner (not regular mechanics) asked if I wanted to get it replaced for $15 and I said go ahead. When everything was done he charged me $20 instead blaming expensive Acura bulb, a part I later found to be worth just $2.5 at retail. I returned to my office a few blocks away and managed find the tail light not working. Went back to confront him and the shop refused a partial refund and instead claimed that the brand new bulb was blown on a hot day. The manager obviously was dishonest on both the replacement and the price, and was extremely rude and loudly cursed me, and even threatened to invalidate my registration (as if he is actually able to commit such fraud).

Phil is a great mechanic. Very reliable and fair,A good person!
