A while back we used them to transport my elderly grandfather. The first few times they were fine. And then we got this lady who was rude and clearly didnt know what she was doing. She wheeled my grandfather into the little bus and apparently didnt lock his wheelchair in place properly. She starts driving and was the worst driver ever. Gunning it, hard turns, breaking hard. On one of her speeding off the line moments, my grandfather fell back in his chair and hit his head in the bus. We were like 1 turn from his appointment so she continued to drive and when we got there then we could help my grandfather. She was no help. So we used a different company that was 100 times better and more caring. We called roadrunner the next day to file a complaint and we talked to one guy who said hed look into it and that they would call us back once they heard the other side of the story. 2 days past and no calls came. We tried calling them back and it seemed like they ignored our calls. Never got ahold of them and never heard back after that. Clearly they just hire anybody with a license and an ok background. If youre ready this. Used private transport. To this day I still see her driving around town.

They are the worst! Created an account on-line, requested a quote and 24 hours later had not received (nor ever) received a reply. Calling them was worse! They have some drunken lady answering the phones. After I booked my trip with them Sunday morning for next day Monday morning pick up, I was charged and a confirmation emailed to me. Only to be called less than 12 hours prior to my pick up time to be notified that because my reservation was not made before 48 hours from the pick up time, they could not pick me up., really? Why didnt they tell me that when I was making the reservation? I guess I should be thankful they called to tell me.

If I could give zero stars I would. This company has a horrible business model. I won’t be using them again. Even though I made a reservation and they picked me up from my flight they had to circle the airport twice. After landing from a 5 hour early morning flight the last thing I want to do is circle LAX loop for 15 minutes.What’s the point of make a reservation. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. No wonder this company is rated so poorly here. DO NOT USE THEM. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM. I called (Dana you should not be in customer service) them to complain since my company throws them a lot of business, but they didn’t care. I’ll never use them again. And I’ll be complaining to my HR department about them.Oh and after all that circling we picked up, guess how many people. Yeah, that’d be a BIG FAT ZERO. All the driver did was get harassed by people looking for other shuttles.They were supposed to pick up every half hour. They picked me up at 10 am. Then they made him circle again. Then they made him do the 10:30 loop circle. Forty-five minutes of circling LAX. Absolutely, ridiculous.HEY ROADRUNNER YOU ARE AN AWFUL COMPANY.

When I think of Roadrunner, I think of FUN! The last time I used this service was for a birthday night out in Hollywood. For service to and from Supper Club with five other friends, including one very happy birthday princess, the total fare was only $480 for our charter down from the deep gut of the West Valley. Do note that rate is even for prime time rowdy hours on a Saturday night on the Boulevard.Our special lady was--of course--in need of a gorgeous, well-maintained six passenger black limo with all of the bells and whistles. After splitting up the fare between five of us, thats still under $100 each after the big tip we gave our driver. $100 versus cramming into a taxi, forcing one of our comrades to sacrifice true Hollywood fun in order to be a DD, or ending up with with a soul blackened by a DUI conviction? Sign me up for the limo. I recommend this company because even my feeble amount of internet commerce patience was more than enough to make solid, simple online reservations and to enjoy a limo service that arrived on time despite the devil that is LA traffic. I set a date and time. I paid. The limo showed up at the set time. No one was too hung over the next day. What more does a 20-something LA lady need?

Shuttle took a little while to pick me up, but I was the only person in the shuttle and was taken straight home without any problems. My driver drove safely in the rain, and was very courteous. I will use Roadrunner again.

I have been taking the shuttle bus to Chumas casino for many years.I have always had great experiences with the drivers. With the exception of last night saturday February 1st at 3 a.m.My boyfriend and I took the shuttle bus home to Simi Valley and sat in the very first seat only to watch the driver falling asleep at the wheel not once or twice alot of timesAt one point we both screamed at him as he was going to go off the road. He replied dont yell at me. It was very scary.I hope this driver thinks about what happened and maybe makes a shift change so noone else has to be scared and so a bus load of people dont have to worry about losing there lives . Roadrunner I hope you take some action regarding this situation so it never happens again.

Garbage shuttle service. On the ride to LAX, they swapped vans with passengers in the van already for no mechanical reason and conducted the transfer in a random parking lot.On the ride back, they sent a driver in an unmarked van who was compelled to pick up as many parties as possible and departed LAX with eight passengers in six different parties in a van that sits nine with no cargo room to speak of. They had passengers shifting around bags to accommodate more fares!Avoid this shuttle. My experiences with Roadrunner this most recent holiday season means I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have used the service for almost 10 years. However, recently I found that the service became more and more confusing. I had to cancel my reservation with no refund because the confusion. I will not use them again from now on. Uber is actually a much better option.

In the midst of Roadrunner nightmare. Purchased exclusive van. Gave flight info. Called when got luggage and was told 25 min but to wait outside LAX. Waited for 1 hour. No van. Were renting car to get home. Stay away. No company could be worse.

I was traveling home to visit my parents. A friend was suppose to give me a ride to LAX. But due to an emergency he had to back out at the last minute. I gave Road Runner Shuttle a call. They fit me in and I made my flight in plenty of time. They were friendly, courteous, and on time. If Im ever in the same jam, I will not hesitate to use them again. Thanks!!

Needed a middle of the night pick up to get to LAX, so called Roadrunner Shuttle. They were on time, personable, helped with luggage, and got me to the airport on time. I shared the shuttle with one other person. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My experience with RoadRunner was generally very good.First, let me start with the bad. When you sign up for a reservation, the site says We will be calling you on MM/DD/YYYY between the hours of 4-7 pm to confirm your pick up time for the next day. That never happened. No big deal. I called them to confirm my pick up time and it was painless.They arrived on my travel day exactly on time, and the driver was very friendly. My return flight was delayed by over an hour. When I got to the airport, they had a driver waiting for me as soon as I stepped outside. Overall, the service was reliable, affordable (less than the price of gas combined with parking), and friendly.

I just want to say my dad has use this service for the second time today and he likes it. The fact that customers service worked with us after finding out that my dad had problems on the airport and had to delay his pick up time from the airport. The customer service of roadrunner in ventura were understandable with this issue and still picked him up after 4hrs of the schedule time. I cant thank them enough for such a great customer service and on top of that the shuttle arrive just minutes after my dad call him. I am really happy with their service and my dad is on his way home as I posting this review.

After picking us up it took another hour of circling the airport so they could fill the can to capacity before leaving. A total waste of time. The seats didnt work properly. We should have been told it wasnt a quick and easy and that it would take so long to get out. Wont use this service again.

I’m sorry to see Roadrunner is no longer in the business to take us from Camarillo to LAX, or from work in Woodland Hills to LAX. The entire time they were in business I have to say only one time did I wish for a different driver. Yes, for time to time the van was full before it got to the airport and if we were the only two in the van (besides the driver) he did drive around the airport “fishing” for extra passengers. This is a business and I understand the cost of fuel, so the van should not be almost empty. If you want an empty car they have limo service. I did not like getting up so early but I disliked driving to the airport even more. We never missed a plane or a trip home. The drivers and staff were courteous. I did not like being on hold but almost all businesses have recordings. Passengers should get their luggage first before calling Roadrunner. Passengers should also get the van# for the driver picking them up so they get the right van. I didn’t like the increase in fares and I wish my groceries still cost $50.00 a week. So sorry Roadrunner has pulled out of transportation to LAX, hopefully Coyote Roadrunner, Uber and Lyft will fill the void. FYI - Coyote Roadrunner - you need a 24 hr service for unexpected trips to the airport at 4:30 am from Camarillo. Lyft and Uber need more drivers in Camarillo for early morning trips to LAX. We’ve been in Camarillo since 1985 and I for one enjoyed the trips, the drivers, meeting new people and hearing their stories. Thank you for being there so that we could relax!

Do not use this service! They do not deliver as contracted. We reserved 2 buses totaling 96 seats to take students to prom in Los Angeles. They arrived on time but with two buses totaling only 88 seats! We had reserved the buses three months in advance and confirmed ALL details weeks prior as well as the day before! We had to suddenly scramble to get parents with large vehicles to drive kids to prom. A call was made to dispatch requesting the correct sized buses be sent to prom for pick-up. 2 buses totaling 96 seats did come but one of them was over 30 minutes late leaving students waiting outside of the venue near midnight!

I used roadrunner shuttle while working for corporate America in Camarillo California. My executives would only choose roadrunner as they received excellent service. I personally use them having moved to Arizona and cant imagine using any other service. I recommend them highly they are extremely professional

For the money they charge they should have a great customer service .Actually when we use a regular cab to go to the airport ,the random cab drivers are even more polite and more attendant than these roadrunner stressed out drivers. They blame all the time the office for not being in time so it must be run by a horrible management.Rude drivers and even more rude office!

I used them over Christmas. Driver was on time and courteous, van was in good condition. When returning home to LAX, the driver met us within the 25 mins after we called the agent. Again the driver was courteous.

I have been using Roadrunner Shuttle for years and their service has really gone down hill. My last trip with Roadrunner Shuttle resulted in me missing my flight and the company is refusing to pay for the cost of my new flight, even though it was clearly their fault. The shuttle driver picked me up on time and was very courteous and professional. He arrived 1 hour before the time they promised me I would be at the airport, which seemed very appropriate at 5:30am. However, after picking me up in Thousand Oaks, the driver headed to Moorpark then Simi Valley to pick up 3 more parties. We didnt even get on the 118 freeway in Simi Valley until the time I was suppose to be at the airport. The driver explained to me that I was on his route because my original driver arrived to work late. If I had known this when I got in the van I would have cancelled and called an uber. Roadrunner refunded me the cost of my shuttle ride but is refusing to reimburse me for the flight, even though it is clearly a poor dispatch issue on their side. I’m not sure how they stay in business. Based on the increase in negative reviews over the last couple of years I imagine they won’t be in business much longer. Terrible customer service. Do NOT use this service.

Roadrunner shuttles to and from Camarillo have always been adequate. Last year I booked a private mini van from LAX to Camarillo (a service that no longer exists) and it didnt go well. I recorded six phone calls and nearly 2 hours in delays before they put me on a shuttle bus and finally got me to my destination. I called a week later and Roadrunner management offered me a $20 credit on my next trip. Thanks anyway but $20 doesnt come close to making up for the comedy of errors on Roadrunners part. Sad thing is that Ive already shared that story with many of the 1300 people at my company - which cant be good for Roadrunner.

Save time and money and just get a Uber!FYI, when you miss your plane because of them, they only pay you back the shuttle and not any extra it may cost you to get to your destination. (Which is what happened to me). If they judge that the cause was bad traffic, they dont give you anything back.I only booked them because I thought they were reliable, they are not. There is no reason why anyone would to choose road runner over a Uber. It is pretty much the same price but it takes you twice as long, you wait way too long at the airport, the customer service is terrible and they are actually less reliable than a uber!!Dont make the same mistake. I know it was the last time for me.

Horrible experience. 1st time waited at LAX for over 2 hours to be picked up. So though Id give them another chance to redeem themselves -the 2nd time got picked up in 1/2 hour but was told it was going to take over 4 hours (due to so many out of the way stops) to get to SB. Jumped off and took the SB Airbus home.They have an 8 hour cancellation policy - so they can hold you hostage with their inconsiderate scheduling and then keep your money. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.. . asked to have the owner call me...still waiting !

Not recommended. My grandmother reserved them. Due to her short memory she couldnt remember reserving roadrunner, but beyond that they admitted they didnt have difinitive flight information for me, so why would they take a reservation, were they going to use telekinesis to find me. Whatever the case, 4 HOURS after landing they call my grandmother looking for me. I had already arrived home by then. Just an odd experience. Not recommended.

I am so disappointed by their lack of customer service. I have recommended them to friends for years. My husband insisted I use them when I traveled for work and continued to use after I retired. But maybe they have just gotten too big and dont have to care any longer. Booked for round trip to LAX from Thousand Oaks. Day to LAX was one of those 95 degree plus days. The minute driver picks ups up he states dont sit in the middle seats as something is leaking and thus seats are all wet. Roadrunner management response to this was we didnt have to get on the van!! Ok and do what; drive myself and possibly not get a refund. As we were driving driver informs us he has to turn off the air conditioning. Middle of day and 95 degrees. We stop and pick up someone in Simi Valley. The water or whatever was leaking starts getting us wet. At one point my cousin stands up so as not to get wet. We didnt know exactly what type of fluid was leaking and didnt want to stain our clothes. Driver tells her to sit down; at one point pulls over so other person can sit up front. Van was also not clean on inside but I could have lived with that. When we arrive at destination I send email to them and they offer 10% discount on next reservation. NO! Your driver clearly knew there was a problem when he left to pick us up. Dont they service the vans? Now comes time for trip home after 9+ hrs plane ride and time change. Just want to get home. I call when we get to the curb as instructed. A van pulls up shortly and someone gets in. As I approach I say we also are riding. Driver explains my name was on his list but was removed. Not to worry another van will be by shortly. Van comes around. No not able to get on that van either (not sure why). Call again, and again. Told driver is at terminal 1. We are at international terminal. My first call was at 4:22 pm, then 4:42, then 4:54. Van finally picks us and another couple up. Van is dirty and missing a seat belt. Finally on our way home. Oh no he goes back to terminal 1. We arrived home at 7:05 pm. I totally understand that when you share a van it will not be the hour ride home but I think from 4:22 to 7:05 pm is a little excessive. I wrote Roadrunner an old fashioned letter to explain my dissatisfaction and why am I surprised no response. I used to work with Desmond Sandlin who started the company. I believed him to be a good businessman. I commend him for what he has done but hope they realize that a lot of good companies have gone by the wayside due to poor customer service. Wake up Roadrunner.

I was at a business conference in Tallahassee and was waiting for roadrunner to pick me up and get me to San Diego. Roadrunner arrived and entire 2 HOURS after the time I requested, and I missed my flight and the conference after. The worst part id when I asked for a refund, they wouldnt give it to me because I changed my time last minute (I didnt you goddamn idiots). DONT trust this company, as they are only in it for the money, not good service. Their customer service even makes you wait for three minutes as you listen to ADS for MONEY. Had a reservation yesterday to be picked up from airport & transported home.Our shuttle driver, Juan Magania(not sure if the last name is spelled correctly but I believe that was his last name hopefully Im somewhat correct)was absolutely great. Extremely polite, friendly, professional and an excellent driver! He not only was a safe, very good driver- but he got us home much faster than I expected. He was a pleasure to have as our transportation driver & after a long awful day of traveling & being exhausted, he ended our trip home on a very good note & I just wanted to let your company know how much I appreciated his services and what an asset he is to your company. I not only recommend your shuttle service but I highly recommend Juan specifically. I was very impressed with his services & wanted to express my experience since Juan specifically made sure we had the best possible one.Thanks again, Juan!(Our reservation was made under the last name Daymude just to specifically clarify If I spelled Juans name wrong. )

Most people only write when negative so thought I would be honest and write when positive! We had a reservation both ways Westlake /LAX for a trip to Cancun. They arrived on time, cheerful in Westlake and we arrived LAX quite early and relaxed for the on time flight.Upon a return we called when had bags and they picked us up at International within 10 min and although he stopped to try and get a last min person to join us...Still ended up we were the only two in the van for the ride to Westlake with a very nice driver and quick ride. I had ordered an exclusive shuttle service for our family once we arrived at LAX to return home. I did not want the ride share service because I wanted to make sure we were home at a reasonable hour with our 4 year old son. Our flight arrived 20mins early to LAX which was wonderful. After we picked up our luggage I called dispatch to verify that our shuttle was waiting.When I called I was advised that the exclusive shuttle service driver was stuck in traffic and it would be 30 to 35mins until he would arrive. At the time my Husband and I thought that was reasonable, it was a Sunday night at LAX so traffic was pretty busy.It was not ok after 35mins had passed and I had to call the dispatch center again only to find out that the exclusive shuttle driver was apparently still stuck in traffic and it would be another 30+min wait. At this point I was pretty upset. The dispatcher said that there was a rideshare shuttle that could pick up us up in 15mins. After and additional 30 mins past I had to call the dispatch center again...to which they said it would be an additional 15mins until the drive would arrive...waited another 20mins...by this time I was really pissed off. I called again and they said the driver was just pulling up to our location.Not only was I really upset about the whole experience but there was an empty roadrunner shuttle that had passed us 20 mins before the rideshare shuttle showed up. By this point it was 10:30pm our son was really tired and if the exclusive shuttle we ordered would have arrived on time, we could have already been home.Did I mention that we are not the only family that they screwed in this whole experience. There was another couple with their elderly father that this couple also made wait at LAX for an hour and a half.Not to mention that we were the last drop off and we didnt get home until after midnight.To top it off when I emailed the next morning (because its important to have everything in writing) the Customer Service Manager had the audacity to say that the other family waited longer than we did for service...Yea...we talked to the other family that they screwed over in not providing the exclusive service and they were on the same flight as we were...I did not appreciate the rude tone of the service manager in his email me to. Nor was at all happy that I did not get a full refund of the $156.20 dollars that we paid for a service we didnt received. We only received the difference of the exclusive service vs. ride share shuttle cost even though we were the very last stop of the ride share that we didnt order.I hope that Director of Customer Service reviews this very negative review and how displeased I am as a customer. I will never order Roadrunner again in light of this experience.Please be aware when you book this service that their service is not good and their customer service is questionable.

I’m not quite sure why you wait for a shuttle at LAX for 1.5 hours when you have made a reservation for a pickup at a specific time. It’s bad enough being the last drop off in Camarillo but shouldn’t there be a shuttle ready when a reservation was made so it doesn’t take 4+ hours to go 50 miles? There’s just no excuse. Happened three times now. Time to find a new way home.

Not so much roadrunner, but the VCTC side is a rip off to the employees. No overtime paid. No holidays paid. No 401k. No open door policy. We drive double shifts. We possess the bus 14-15 hrs daily, 5-6 days a week but only paid for 9+/- hrs. This company drives us to the brink of fatigue. One day were gonna have a major accident due to negligence on the part of mngmnt. God forbid you if you happen to be a pax on the day I fall asleep at the wheel. Theyre contracted out by Ventura County Transit Authority with an allocation of $25.00 per driver per hour and theyll only pay $13.00+ per hour. WHERES THE REST OF THE MONEY GOING?? High turnover rate. Low morale. Cut and dried..In a nutshell, this company sucks.

Arrived LAX, on time, went to pick up location as told at the time we made the reservation. An hour and twenty minutes later the van showed up. But this driver refused to pick us up, her an was empty, but .we werent on her list. Another van was on the way. Forty minutes later it showed up. The dispatcher told the driver to drive around the airport again to look for non reservation pick ups. We objected, but the dispatcher said we had only waited 39 minutes. Over three hours for a trip that should take about an hour! Extremely poor customer service!

The worst customer service. Website advertises services they discontinued 2 years ago. They do not answer email or website request for help or quotes. When I called, all I got was attitude and trying to pass the buck by wanting me to call someone else. Wasted 3 days waiting on them to return email and when I called, i just go attitude. This place is terrible.
